Funny enough, I accidentally forgot my workout pants--but no problem, because they actually sell them there! I grabbed a pair and jumped right into class. The studio is very clean, and from what I observed, members are great about wiping down their equipment after use, which I really appreciated. The workout itself is done at your own pace, and the heart rate monitors make it both engaging and motivating. You can easily track your heart rate and adjust your effort based on how you're feeling. Everyone has their own station, treadmill, and rower, and each machine displays your personal stats in real time, which makes the experience even more fun and interactive. Rachel was the coach for the class I attended, and I genuinely loved her energy. She motivates you to push yourself while still giving clear instructions and attention to each group. After class, I spoke with her about my fitness goals and my interest in incorporating heavier lifting alongside Orangetheory workouts. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and offered solid, practical advice. Even though I don't live close by, I definitely plan on stopping in again for another class when I'm in the area. There's also plenty of parking available, shared with other businesses in the strip mall, which makes visiting easy and stress-free.

Decent amount of cardio equipment but if you come during the busy times (after work, after 10am on the weekend) you might have a tough time getting anything. My favorite part is the cardio mezzanine which overlooks the gym floor. Each cardio machine has a TV with cable and even a channel devoted entirely to watching the playroom where kids can be babysat while their parents work up a sweat- made especially for overprotective mothers. The classes are decent- I used to love Sonia's Pilates class (you could almost never get a spot to put your mat) but I stopped going when she started talking more and teaching less. Also Buddy's Cardio Funk is a great laugh, fun way to work out. I have taken 2 spin classes- one with Sonia who is a drill sergeant and Merri who's a lot of fun but none of them match up to the teacher I had in DC (she made spin actually FUN, which is nearly impossible). For those of you who like protein shakes and the like- there's a small bar where they make your pleasure after your workout. Water and other drinks as well as granola and powerbars are sold at the front. All in all a 2.5 but I'll give em a 3. They certainly work hard enough for it. also make a point to thank Darren (I believe that's his name) he's the custodian. He's a doll and makes everything so clean with a smile on his face. He deserves recognition.

Place needs better maintenance as bathrooms are always wreaking of urine especially the kids family bathroom. Why do we have a children's bathroom with no proper way for children to reach the sink located inside the toilet? Staff at the salon also has a bad attitude. For such a high end gym, customer service is lacking 100%.

I am writing to share a very disappointing experience I had at your club on Friday evening…read more I accompanied my sister as her guest because I recently canceled my membership after moving out of the area. Before making the 45-minute drive to meet her, we attempted to call the club twice to confirm that I would be able to use one of her guest passes. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone. We then checked the website and saw that she had four eligible guest passes available for the month, so we proceeded under the assumption that I would be able to enter. Upon arriving, we were not greeted but noticed by Sharon leaning over the counter. From the start, her demeanor was unwelcoming and dismissive. She informed us that guest passes were not valid after 9:00 PM. I explained that we had attempted to call the club beforehand and had driven 45 minutes based on the information available to us. Rather than showing any empathy for the situation, Sharon took my sister's phone and navigated through several screens to point out where the restriction was listed. What was most disappointing was not the policy itself, but the manner in which it was communicated. A simple apology and explanation of the policy would have been completely understandable. Instead, Sharon immediately began explaining that the only way I could enter would be to pay a $200 initiation fee and a $300 membership fee as if I could not afford the gym being that I was on my sister's guest pass. At no point had I asked about membership pricing, and her comments came across as unnecessary and condescending. As someone who works in luxury customer service, I understand that policies must be enforced. However, customer service is about how those policies are communicated. Respect, empathy, and professionalism cost nothing. The situation escalated further when I asked for Sharon's name. As I was leaving, she yelled, "Go call and complain now." I found this completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I responded that the issue was not what she said, but how she said it. Sharon then began arguing with me, calling me rude and nasty. While I regret engaging in the back-and-forth, I was genuinely shocked by the interaction and did not expect that level of hostility from a Lifetime employee. Throughout my time as a member, I consistently had positive experiences with your staff. In fact, I referred several friends and family members who ultimately joined. Other front desk employees have always been pleasant, professional, and solution-oriented. I was also told during this interaction that former members are not permitted to use guest passes, which was surprising, as I could not find that restriction clearly stated in the policy. Ironically, I am moving back to Long Island and had been considering rejoining. After this experience, however, I no longer feel comfortable doing so. I will also share my experience with my friends and family who I convinced to sign up there while I was a member. I rather go to equinox where I am valued and respected. One negative interaction should not define an organization, but Sharon's conduct was so unprofessional that it has completely changed my perception. I am not seeking compensation, complimentary services, or a call from management. My purpose in writing is simply to make you aware of this incident. I hope management addresses the situation, whether through additional customer service training or by providing support to employees who may be struggling in customer-facing roles. No customer should be treated with the level of disrespect and hostility that I experienced.

Initially, they said they did not honor One Pass even though they were still enrolled with One Pass and listed as a participating studio. After I contacted One Pass and this location received a call from One Pass, they reluctantly allowed me to take the 4 classes per month for the fees I paid monthly to One Pass, as agreed. Last month, I received notice from this Club Pilates location indicating that they will no longer be participating with One Pass. Although this back and forth is off-putting, I took the 4 allotted classes each month. I found the classes mostly useful and appreciated that the space is clean and the instructors are pleasant. I will decide whether to sign up on my own or move to one of the other facilities further away from home that have opted to remain in the One Pass program.
