I'm surprised with the negative reviews here. Today was my first visit with no appointment and I couldn't have asked for more. Initially when I walked in, there were only two nail techs & they were both occupied so I was told about a ~20 min wait. I left to grab a bite then came back & got seated. I've been going here for years (since 2015!). While they might be the most well known, they are AMAZING. I love the fact that they don't overbook and they RESPECT your appointment time. They don't overbook, they will turn walk-ins away to respect your appointment time and expect the same in return. They don't have a whole conversation in Vietnamese while you are sitting there. Unprofessional, rude and unfriendly. I walked in for a pedicure since they claim to take walk ins and I was told in a very rude way "NO TIME" I was extremely disappointed because I wasn't asked if I wanted to make an appointment for another day. This place clearly doesn't know how to run a business. All of the staff are just plain rude! Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. Went in today to have my nails done in memory of my mom who passed away and today is her birthday. I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I ask the lady doing my nails FIVE times if she could do the design I was requesting. She said yes. The first attempt look horrible! The second attempt not much better, meanwhile I'm in tears because I just wanted something nice to remember my mom. My nails are lumpy and look horrible still. As a senior male I need a little help reaching my toes. I got a manicure and pedicure today by Donna. She does a great job. This is a very clean and relaxing environment. I don't recognize any of the employees that used to be here. 1) technicians did NOT use a base coat on feet or hands 2) they pretend to use sanitary practices, but don't really: technicians use gloves, but use the same gloves over and over with multiple customers; tools are not sanitized between customers; use the same scrubby things on many customers 3) when folding clean towels, they dropped one on the floor, then put it back into the basket, then folded it with the other "clean" ones. 4) very strong incense smell...if you are sensitive to fragrances, stay away I'm sorry, but I won't be back. read more

I've been getting my nails done here for a little over a year, and have walked out a happy customer every time! Both Anthony and Vivian have done my nails, and they both do outstanding work. Vivian is awesome at nail art--I trust her so much, I let her pick what she wants to do with my nails every time! The entire staff is super friendly and the salon is extremely clean. They do accept walk-ins if they aren't busy. However, I definitely recommend making an appointment because they're generally very busy. I see walk-ins from time to time get upset because they're turned away--why not just call ahead and see if there's an opening?? I gave two stars because the polish on my fingers and toes was even and had clean edges. However I did not leave completely satisfied. The pedicure was nice enough but I am disappointed because I paid extra for callous removal and I still have hard dry callous on my heels. My manicure was with cold water and my nails weren't cleaned well. My cuticles were trimmed with dull trimmers and since the water my fingers were soaking in was cold, it didn't soften my cuticles. So, they were pretty much pinched and ripped off instead of cut. I also watched my nail tech take the tools she used on my manicure and pedicure, wipe them with a rag and put them back in her tool box. I'm pretty sure that's how you get infections, fungus etc. I only have two stars because the polish was applied nicely. However, If you want a good quality mani pedi, try another place. read more

Just had a super pleasant experience at M Studio Nails! I just moved to Santa Clarita 3 weeks ago and was trying to find a good nail salon to get a manicure for my birthday tomorrow. I originally went to walk into another salon but was told to come back at 5:30 pm for my nail appointment. Instead I chose to drive around close to my home and see if I could find another place. I stumbled upon M Studio Nails and was seated right away with Anthony. Anthony did an excellent job shaping my nails and helping me find the exact colors I showed him in a picture! My cuticles are perfect and for the first time in a long time my gel manicure is not on my skin! He spent a lot of time making sure everything looked great and it was a really good price. I love M Studio Nails, ever since I found out about them (after searching throughout Santa Clarita for nail salons that allow walk-ins) they've become my go to place for my usual acrylic sets and fills. What attracted me the most to M Studio was the fact that they allowed walk-ins. Though it's always smarter to call ahead just in case, I went in there today around 1:45 or so and they took me immediately, given that it wasn't ridiculously busy. They always take care of me and my nails look wonderful every time I get them done here. I've tried Beth's nails (who, to their credit, do a very good job) and much prefer M Studio mainly because it's less busy and therefore less important to make an appointment ahead of time. read more

I usually get my nails done in Pasadena but since I was visiting my friend in Santa Clarita, I got my mani-pedi here. I scored a great parking spot, right in front of the salon. Service was disappointing. When I go to Top Nails in Pasadena, they take care of my in grown toe nails plus they know my name. But this was strictly trimming and painting. Temperature of water was not right either after asking her if she could make it warm. The major annoyance I had with this salon, the technician asked me if I wanted to pay first. Nobody asked white patrons, if they wanted to pay first. Racial discrimination against her own people is kind of crazy. I stopped there on my way back from work, I didn't look like I needed to pay first. My bitch please moment. But I smiled and said, "NO." Also they let the old heavy set white lady sat at the massage chair to dry her nails but the nail tech moved me to the table. The guy at the front desk told me that I need a cash for tips. Highly recommend not coming to this nail salon. I only came because it was near my home. The technicians were extremely rude to my mother and I. The gentlemen doing my pedicure cut me and handled my pedicure aggressively. He couldn't even properly remove the old polish that I had and it's still on my toes. Even worse he used a brush they clean the tools on my feet. Who does that? The customer service there is atrocious. I couldn't even use my card to pay and my Venmo app was not working for some reason and I was paying it on my mothers phone and they chased after me yelling I did not pay when I was in the middle of sending payment over to them. Some older male technician basically gave me the cold shoulder and said they couldn't help me unless they had a cancellation at 10am. I stayed to take a look at their services board and he seemed annoyed I hadn't left yet. As I stood there he mentioned again that I could not be helped unless I was willing to "try again" at 11am. A full staff - some of which could've been close to halfway done with their clients and not a single one could help me for another 2 hours?! I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I made an appointment with a friendly and accommodating gentlemen for the following day and got in no problem for a manicure and pedicure. Came in at my appointment and a wonderfully sweet woman named Donna waved me down to the chair where my pedicure would be done. The pedicure was relaxing and Donna showed me a swatch of colors and never pressured me into upgrading my services. She would ask me if I wanted a design or gel but never too pushy. She was attentive with the procedures and didn't force conversation with me or anyone around her. Right after we walked over to the manicure station and again we talked colors and style and shape of nail... very polite and attentive but never aggressive with sales or upgrades. In conversation, I asked if they did waxing and if there was anyway I could get my lip and brows done (based on the previous reviews here, I was ready for tables to be turned over but nope!) she was able to fit that right in afterwards. The waxing was done perfectly and I didn't feel rushed at all. At check out they were even able to get my son in for an eyebrow wax that afternoon. All you gotta do is ask and be flexible if it's a last minute appointment :) Look. The bottom line is... take the time to make an appointment. They don't make you wait past your appointment time (I came 15 minutes early and waited no more than 5!) They really do value their customers and your time and are incredibly friendly, helpful, and just a joy to give my business too. I'll be back! read more

I haven't done a thing to pamper myself in over six months since being a mother to a very "spirited" two year old leaves me little "me" time. My feet hurt so bad this afternoon that as soon as I put him down for his nap I told my husband I was going for a pedicure. Less than an hour later I am here, back at home, writing my review. That's how short the experience was. I drove there, got a pedicure, and drove home in a hour... My toes look fine, but i wasn't worried as much about looks as I was relaxation. The staff was "okay", but they said maybe 5 words to me the entire time I was there. The lady doing my toes "massaged" my feet for maybe 30 seconds each foot. She never asked if I wanted the nails cut or a design on my toes. As she was finishing the toe polish she said "did you still want a manicure" as she glanced anxiously at the next set of customers she wanted to start on (no, I didn't get the manicure I asked for, I told her it was okay). She barely finished my clear coat as she rushed me out of the chair. When I went to pay, I was told if I didn't pay cash, it was $1 extra. I get maybe a little extra change to cover their credit card processing fees, but I have a credit card machine for my business and if they are paying that high a percentage, they need to change companies. I couldn't imagine a pedicure place feeling less relaxing and rushed as this one did. I would have rather spent the $21 on a pretty new bottle of polish and some foot soak and painted my own toes late at night when the little one was sleeping. read more
