I came here two months ago with my elderly dad and we sat at the bar. The food was good, we both had eggs Benedict and his enjoyed his Bloody Mary. He likes his eggs soft and they prepared them correctly. So today, we thought we would go back. We asked to sit outside this time to enjoy the beautiful view. Again the food we ok. I say ok because the Eggs Benedict wasn't anything special for the $19 price. My husband had the hot lobster roll that was also just ok. Dad had a Bloody Mary, but this time it wasn't good. Now, the reason for the 1-star review today was the service. Our server was Kali seemed to not like us from the beginning. She had no other tables when we were seated, yet she was slow to deliver anything we ordered and/or asked for. Dad asked for salt on the rim of his Bloody Mary and she brought it without. I tried to politely tell her and her solution was to take his drink away. Hmm, no. She should have brought him the correct drink. Someone in our party ordered two mimosas but instead of offering the bottomless mimosa price - $20, she charged the full price for each drink - $13.50 each and then blamed the computer for not allowing her to ring it in at that price. She expected us to ask for it, and bc we didn't - she was going to make sure we got screwed. I believe the customer is always right, even when they're wrong. She was rude the entire we were there, like we weren't worthy to be her customers. She said she would tell the bar tender about his drink, while walking the opposite way of the bar. She didn't even talk to the manager about changing the mimosa price when that was her fault for not explaining and asking if we wanted the bottomless price. Sadly, if she was reflecting the managements view then this places lacks a lot. In conclusion, don't get Kali as your server and you might be ok. I'm willing to pay a high price for average food if the service is exceptional - this was not the case. And we will not be back. read more

This restaurant has it all! Great Service, Excellent Food, and a View Like No Other. M Waterfront Grille is the reinvention of Maxwell's on the Bay. This waterfront hot spot was reopened last October and they hired a new Executive Chef, Brian Roland, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is a Graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and worked for world renownded Chef Daniel Boulud in NYC and has been Executive Chef of Chops City Grill and Cru Lush Wines and Pure Food. My first dining experience at M was wonderful, I had their delicious Escargot as an appetizer that included a Boursin Cream and Wild Mushrooms and Spinach. My entree was delightful, an Orange Miso Glazed Seabass with Goat Cheese Dumplings, Apple Smoked Bacon and a delicious Florida Orange Broth. it was very well balanced, with a great combination of flavors. For dessert we split 2 offerings including the Warm Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding and a "to die for" Lava Chocolate Cake with fresh berries and dark and white chocolate ganache, Service was just right, our server was attentive but not intrusive, she had a great amount of knowledge including the restaurants' history and all about the chef's new menu. They buy organic vegetables from the Chef's Garden in Ohio who, from what I hear, spend a lot of time growing and harvesting the best of the best. I was really impressed with M Grille's new look and feel, and overall I rate this as the best restaurant in Naples by far. Check it out. M Waterfront Grill in Naples was a great experience. We were seated in a comfortable booth inside and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The ambiance reminded me of a cruise ship with its upscale but slightly dated interior. I am used to more modern spaces in Austin, but the decor felt fitting for the Naples area. Sitting outside offers a lovely view of the water, which I would love to try next time. We started with prosecco, and the chef surprised us with a complimentary amuse bouche. It was a small serving of tomato soup with toasted bread. It was a thoughtful and tasty touch. For appetizers, we ordered the goat cheese dish. It was absolutely delicious and one of my favorite parts of the meal. For entrees, we ordered the sea bass, the short ribs, the salmon, and the twin lobster tails. Every dish was prepared with care and full of flavor. The portions felt a little small for the price, especially compared to what I am used to in Austin. The only reason I would give this place four stars instead of five is because the interior could use some updating and the portion sizes could be more generous. The food and service were still excellent, and I would absolutely come back. Next time, I will plan to sit outside and enjoy the view. M Waterfront Grill is definitely one of the best spots for fine dining in Naples. read more

I had an incredible dining experience at M Waterfront Grille! From start to finish, everything was outstanding. As soon as we were seated, the chef sent out a complimentary amuse-bouche: a mini grilled cheese paired with a flavorful soup bite. It was such a fun and delicious way to kick things off. We started with the Baked Goat Cheese appetizer, which came with tomato, basil, and bacon jam, served with focaccia. The combination of flavors was spot-on, and it was the perfect shareable dish to whet our appetites. For drinks, we treated ourselves to glasses of Moët champagne, which felt like the perfect pairing for the upscale vibe of the restaurant. For my entrée, I went with the Twin Lobster Tails, served with bacon and leek, a polenta cake, and herb butter. The lobster was cooked perfectly--tender and buttery--and the accompaniments elevated the dish even further. My wife and I had an unforgettable dining experience at M Waterfront Grill in Naples. From start to finish, everything was absolutely outstanding. It had just finished raining in September so the restaurant was about half full. And we were the only ones sitting outside under the front canopy. My wife ordered the short ribs, which were nothing short of magnificent--rich, tender, and full of flavor. I'm not usually a big seafood eater, but I went with the black grouper, which was the fish of the day. Let me tell you--it was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned--honestly, it was to die for. I'd give it a 10/10 without hesitation. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, with a beautiful view and a great energy that made the evening even more enjoyable. We also loved the drinks.
