Took a ride to Norwell for brunch at Strawberry Fair Restaurant, & it was well worth it. I love a good brunch, & this place absolutely delivered. I started with a Bloody Mary & a straw-mosa--both excellent. For my entrée, I ordered the omelet special with sweet potato home fries, which also came with cornbread & homemade strawberry jam. I couldn't resist trying the sweet & spicy bacon & the baked beans as well. Hats off to the chef--everything was super tasty & came out fast. My lovely waitress behind the bar, Haikela, was awesome & great to chat with, which made the experience even better. I even ended up leaving with a loaf of cornbread, their raspberry jam, & corned beef hash for the other half. All in all, a great experience--definitely a must-visit if you're in the area.

Very cute restaurant with lots of history, everything is mismatched grandma nicknacks vibes! We got take out once and ate in the restaurant. I was a fan of the lox items, but definitely tasted better dining in.

Love this local restaurant in a historical building! It's like walking into a family of an old grandma. Highly recommend the crème brûlée French toast. It's not too sweet and has a bit of cinnamon flavor, and goes really well with the home-made strawberry jam.

One of the most amazing old-fashioned places I have ever been to! The food here was phenomenal! I got the bacon Quiche with grilled cornbread and tomato soup. All the food was made in house (grilled cornbread and strawberry jam). The quiche had tremendous flavor and the bacon gave it extra fat and saltiness to the dish. The grilled cornbread bread and the strawberry jam was a perfect combination! A perfect blend of sweet and salty. The light tomato soup was the icing on top since it compliments all the strong flavors of the quiche and cornbread. Strawberry iced tea was great. It was sweet but not too sweet. I love the old-fashioned aesthetic! Eating in there is like eating at your grandparent's home place. The waitress who was serving us was very kind and friendly. I would definitely stop by Strawberry Fair again! This place is perfect for anyone who is around the area!

I ordered a creme brùlee French toast and it was delicious. The staff were nice. The restaurant was neat and they helped us take pictures at the end.

Not a bad little joint. Right next to the McLaren dealership. Breakfast and brunch seem to be their specialty. I ordered the corned beef hash as is my won't . It was tasty, the corned beef was real and not over processed. The thyme was different, not bad but different. The potatoes could use more time in the pot, some of the larger pieces were a bit al dente for me. I'll come back and try other dishes. The wait staff while busy was super.

WOW. It's been a while since I was THIS impressed with any restaurant, let alone a breakfast place. This spot is just as adorable as it sounds - it's an old historical home from the 1800's turned into a restaurant, with all the cozy old-house vibes included. If only these walls could talk! My husband and I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. I ordered the corned beef hash and omg!! I didn't expect it to be the BEST hash on the South Shore, but it sure was! I find a lot of corned beef hash to be overly salty, but not here! It was thin and crispy on the outside but soft, meaty and flavorful on the inside. I would eat this for breakfast everyday if I could... Don't even get me started on the cornbread!! I'd be shocked if this wasn't the best cornbread in America. Grilled on the outside, fluffy on the inside without being too heavy or too light; just amazing texture/taste. And the signature strawberry jam!! I wanted to bring a bucket of it home with me. It was phenomenal on the cornbread. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! :)

Met friends here for a breakfast/brunch. The parking lot was jammed, so had to park across the street at the plaza. The restaurant is an old Colonial house partitioned into a dozen tiny rooms bedecked with tables for 2-4 people. We were a party of 5 and seated fairly quickly at one of a few tables earmarked for larger parties. There are a plethora of hearty breakfast favorites and classics, and my initial decision was changed when I discovered the "quiche of the day" was bacon. The signature accompaniment to many breakfast dishes is their grilled cornbread and homemade strawberry jam, which was admittedly delicious, so much so, it can be ordered as a side, all on its own. This place was packed and if you have wide hips, navigate the space carefully! It's darn cute and the food was delicious! Service was top notch and I regret not getting our server's name. She was amazing and even helpful to one of our gluten-free friends. If you can, try going during the week when assumably people are at work! It closes early, so mind the clock!

Prices are fair no complaints there. I ordered a cookies and cream cupcake and a salted caramel cupcake which is simply a chocolate cupcake and a vanilla cupcake respectively topped with flavored buttercream frosting. The actual base cake was baked nicely fluffy and moist firm enough to not crumble in your hands like a lot of cupcakes do but not too firm where you feel like you're eating something that has been sitting out for a while or just came out of the fridge. I enjoyed the cake. The frosting/flavoring was super underwhelming. After you taste it you realize it's more so there for the aesthetic and doesn't really contribute anything to the flavor. In a blind taste test you'd think it was just buttercream frosting with decorations. It doesn't add anything. I could've just gone with a plain chocolate and plain vanilla. The frosting was hard and felt like something out of the fridge and pretty much inedible because of the sheer amount of it. Quite the opposite of the cake that it tops. Not the best cupcake not the worst wish I tried some of the other pastries there because they did look appealing but the basics of what I got being so lackluster won't drive me to return. However if I do I'll try a cake slice or something and see how that is.

We came with a large group, and let's be honest, that can go left real quick at most places...not here. The service was seamless, attentive, and genuinely warm from start to finish. No one was forgotten, no order was mixed up, no delays...just top tier customer service across the board. Now let's talk about the food...because wow. The bread basket came out fresh and warm (dangerously good), and set the tone immediately. I had the stuffed fish, and it was cooked to perfection--flavorful, well seasoned, and not heavy at all. Paired it with a fresh salad tossed in a mustard vinaigrette that was light, tangy, and just right. And the mocktails? So good. Crafted beautifully, refreshing, and not an afterthought like some places make them feel. What I love most is the consistency. Whether it's date night, a casual dinner, or a big group outing, Burtons shows up every single time. Great food, amazing service, and an experience that just feels easy. 10/10...every time.

The "togarashi-crusted" tuna was not crusted at all--completely bland, with no seasoning or flavor. It tasted like it had been frozen, thawed, and simply dropped into the bowl. The rest of the ingredients were just as underwhelming. Everything was placed in separate, unappealing mounds around the bowl: a pile of tasteless sushi rice with a few sesame seeds, hard and underripe avocados chunks, unseasoned raw shredded carrots, smashed vinegar cucumbers with no trace of cilantro and beside that were the overpowering pickled red onions. To make matters worse, it all sat awkwardly on top of a mayonnaise ginger-soy aioli that did nothing to bring the dish together. There was no balance, no cohesion, and absolutely no flavor. It looked unappetizing and tasted even worse. I barely touched it. The server never asked why, and even if she had, I was with coworkers and wouldn't have felt comfortable saying how bad it was. For $28, this was unacceptable. Honestly, it felt like something a child threw together--bland, poorly executed, and completely lacking care. Would not order again.

I was recommended this small cafe on TikTok for their tiramisu lattes (which those who know me know…read morethat I have an obsession with Tiramisu lattes). I ended up grabbing two lattes this morning and enjoying the winter ambiance of Weymouth. This cafe is located right next to a cinema, down the street from South Shore Hospital. For those who like to work from their laptop at cafes, this location is not a cafe where you can work from. This small storefront has very good latte, tea, and coffee options as well as a few food options such as breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and chaffles. For those who have celiac disease (like myself), this cafe does not have any gluten-free options - but don't let that stop you from trying one of their lattes or drink options. This morning I tried a tiramisu latte and a peanut butter latte. The tiramisu latte was very good and had a good balance of coffee and the flavoring. I would rate this latte an 8.5 out of 10 based on the appearance, flavor, and size. Regarding Tiramisu lattes, it was one of the better ones that I've tried. The peanut butter latte was also pretty good; however, I feel it could've had a little more coffee or peanut butter flavor. I felt as if it were like drinking almond milk after eating a peanut butter sandwich. I didn't really get the peanut butter flavor until after I was finishing the latte and got to the cold foam. Overall, this cafe was a cute find and would be amazing for a warm day if you planned on walking around Weymouth
