We were originally going to eat at Kyala next door but they were closed on Thanksgiving day so we stopped by here to grab a quick bite. It is very small and a to go / grab and go place. Not really space to eat inside. The bento box was around 16 dollars and was very good! The pork katsu was light fluffy and juicy. I usually don't care for rice but I enjoyed this box more than I thought I would. The potato salad and little appetizer were interesting, my bf is Korean and we both enjoyed this and would get this again especially if we wanted quick bite or lunch Togo. They seem to have a lot of orders for Thanksgiving catering too so I bet they have other items that are delicious! Julienne Korean Radish Salad: My mom loves this side dishes, it was recommended to us by the store staff when we had difficulty picking a radish dish. It is nicely seasoned, not overly spicy. The white radish is still perfectly crunchy. Recommend this if you like radishes. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love support small/ local business and was pleasantly surprised to discover this gem! They make a variety of banchan which you can order fresh or get them frozen. They have a variety of freshly made dishes including gimbap, japchae, ban chan(side dishes) and hearty Korean soups/stews. Their gimbap tastes so fresh like a home-cooked meal. I often get gimbap for my coworkers, and they enjoy it very much every time they try it. Their seasoning is spot on, balanced and savory. Also, the side dishes taste much more homemade than what you might find at supermarket-style Korean spots, and their soups are flavorful and comforting. I am Korean and have a good understanding of what quality banchan is. I typically purchase my banchan at H Mart in Diamond Bar. When I discovered this place while running errands, I was pleased. I researched online and found mostly positive reviews. I visited for the first time on May 21, 2026, and spent $48, looking forward to enjoying it with my fresh steamed rice. However, when I opened the tofu, it had spoiled and had an unpleasant alcohol-like taste, indicating fermentation. Since it was only $7, I decided it wasn't worth returning. The second dish I opened was a variety of pancakes, specifically kimchi pancakes, which were excessively salty. It seemed like salt had been used in place of sugar, so I discarded them. Overall, I found their banchan to be below average and would recommend purchasing it from H Mart instead. I am unsure why the reviews were so favorable, as I believe this place does not merit a 4.5-star rating. Additionally, when I entered, I had my small Shih Tzu with me (holding in my arms), and a woman quickly came out from the kitchen to inform me that dogs were not allowed. I mentioned that my dog was a service animal, but she still denied entry. I really wanted to like this place and I was so excited to try out their gimbap as I'm a big gimbap fan and my parents actually prefer gimbap over sushi rolls. Don't get me wrong, our food was packaged with perfection and our rolls were made with lots of care and were picture perfect. The ratio of ingredients to rice was great, etc. It's just that the rice for all of our gimbap was so, so dry. Even with dipping it in sauce, it didn't help alleviate the dryness. I think the best thing to do would have been to soak them in instant noodle broth or some other kind of soup, but everyone's initial excitement drained very quickly after the first couple bites and this later became a chore to finish the rest of our rolls. Not sure what happened. Maybe it was a bad end of the day batch, but we did eat it immediately when we got home and we don't live too far away either. Some items might not need to be heated and others do depending on what you have bought. The store is small so there is no seating inside. I was craving bulgogi sushi and decided to try this place. I've never had any food from here or been inside the store. I ordered 2 korean bulgogi sushi platters on DoorDash. Each platter was $11. I ordered the spicy raw marinated crab and spicy pork kimbap and it came with some side dishes and a cup of rice which was appreciated. I came here for a quick lunch and got the bulgogi bibimbap. I guess they're not known for their bibimbap because the bowl was just bulgogi, rice, salad and very little leftover kimbap vegetables. But I had to attend another potluck event, 2 weeks later, so for convenience and no time to order somewhere else, I gave another try. This time catered for smaller group so order $ 50 jap chae. This time the quality of ingredients and taste was worst than previous order. Less amount, less ingredients, hardly any mushrooms, just couple here and there not even sesame seeds ?? Worst than that service from young girl at the counter was horrible. They usually prefer cash for big orders, soo I stop by bank and paid cash. But this time since it was small amount and I didn't have time. I paid with credit card. And added kimbap also. I ask her for a chapstick and a (1) one small empty paper bowl for my daughter to share. Which she complied, then I ask for some chopsticks, she ask how many I wanted. I said FIVE (5) chopsticks, since it's for 10-15 people but most people would be using fork, which she didn't supply any on last order for 24-35 people. What a charming place to grab your favorite banchan! It felt like a different realm just stepping into this cute shop. I was in awe as I scanned this little shop - from the big refrigerators of traditional Korean soups, to your favorite marinated Bugolgi meat, to those favorite veggie sides. I also placed an order for their freshly made Gimbap - they have a number of kinds, but I went for the Spicy Anchovy...and let me tell ya, it is SO GOOD! Full flavor and super delicious. The anchovy itself had a really distinct bite, and I enjoyed it. I got to chat a bit with one of the owners (it's a family business), and he was just the kindest and can tell he knows about Korean ingredients. I learned that their banchans do not have MSG...Just all natural flavors! All the banchans vary in pricing. As of this posting, they range from $7-$15 per boxed item, and the Gimbaps are $6-$9 per order. All worth it...try it all! I can't wait to stop in again because they have so many delicious choices. I was excited to see a new place that offers yangnyeom gejang which is spicy raw crab. This place is tiny and pretty much everything is packaged in to-go containers. Lots of various banchans - salads, marinated egg, marinated raw crab, large variety of kimchi. They sell a container of various popular banchan to try for $16, which had most of my favorites. They had braised black beans (geomeun-kongjorim), spicy seasoned dried radish strips (mumallaengi-muchim), stir-fried baby dried anchovy Banchan (myeolchi bokkeum), spicy fermented squid jeotgal (ojingeojeot), seaweed salad, and kkaennip kimchi (perilla leaves Kimchi). I know how to make the majority of these but I'm lazy so it's nice to find a place that makes it. The yangnyeom gejang ($12) was soft and creamy, had a good heat level to it. It's meant to be eaten raw with plenty of hot rice and banchan. The shell can be hard and spicy but since it's raw, it's easy to chew the shell to get the meat out. I like that they have a small portion since it's only good for a few days and I'm the only one in my family who eats it. They also sell various types of gimbap such as spam, burdock, hot dog, spicy pork bulgogi and bulgogi. The hot dog and spam are my favorite, good for a roadtrip or to bring to an amusement park.
