Pretty cozy modern open view kitchen dimsum restaurant with beautiful teal plating sets. We loved the experience. Good food and wonderful service. We tried Clayton eggplant, Xiao long bao combination, beef short ribs in black pepper sauce, and dimsum combination.

Okinawa, a contemporary Japanese restaurant, occupied this space for exactly 15 years, closing in December 2025. The owners wanted to refresh the concept and came up with "Ma's Kitchen," a Chinese restaurant featuring dim sum (particularly dumplings and buns), noodle soups, and a handful of traditional entrées. Note that there are two Ma's Kitchens, this large space facing Colfax plus "Ma's Kitchen Next Door," a small space with a more limited menu, in the rear of the building, facing York Street. I had noticed a big, "Soft Opening," banner that morning so we thought we'd give it a try. We were the first to arrive for dinner service. The staff was very friendly and enthusiastic. The space looked great, clean and modern with nice decorative touches. The kitchen was very fast. We ordered a variety of dishes, starting with the Scallion Pancakes and the Fried Sesame Balls. The "pancakes" arrived cut into triangles. They were very savory and deliciously crunchy. The sesame balls were also very crisp and filled with a tasty red bean paste. My girlfriend, who has lived in Japan, was eager to try them and thought they were very authentic. We then ordered the Shu Mai, an open-topped dumpling containing a pork mixture and topped with orange Masago (capelin roe). They were very pretty and quite tasty, but I was a little disappointed by the gummy wrappers. Finally, we tried the Braised Beef Brisket Noodle Soup with the Ramen noodles. The presentation was beautiful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the broth was flavorful. The brisket could have been a bit more tender. Some pieces also were wrapped in an excessive amount of fat. We enjoyed our meal. The many flavors and textures were very appealing. The staff was excellent, very knowledgeable and very interested in what we thought of the new menu. The space is very comfortable. All-in-all a great refresh and a great addition to the Colfax restaurant scene.

We came here for a light lunch with the puppy, which is allowed on the patio! Having previously been to the Ma's dim sum next door prior to the expansion, I was pretty excited about this opening next door. The menu seems a little bit bigger and they now have a full service bar with a great cocktail menu (their take on an espresso martini is great). We ordered the shrimp and pork dumplings, xo soup dumplings, daikon rice cake, and xo green beans. The food arrived promptly and the portion size is generous, especially for the price. Everything is super tasty, especially the green beans. I wish the soup dumplings had a little bit more soup, but the flavor is great. Would highly recommend this place!

This might honestly be my favorite dim sum in Denver. Ma's Kitchen recently took over the former Okinawa space on East Colfax and it made a great first impression. The space is beautiful with an elegant but still welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the meal. The service was fantastic. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which always makes the experience even better. The drinks were well balanced and thoughtfully made, and the food was easily the highlight. Everything we tried was excellent. Not a bad bite in the bunch. One thing to note is that this location is different from the more casual Ma's Kitchen next door. This one feels more like a full sit down restaurant experience. If you're a dim sum fan, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Phenomenal! My new favorite Asian fusion/dumpling/dim sum place. So glad to have this here. The food is delicious, they have lots of non-pork options, the place is cute, and the service is friendly.

When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return for the views, the social atmosphere, the drinks, and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Perfect for: Date nights, networking, socializing, drinks with friends, and enjoying Denver's skyline.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

I had the eggs Benedict with duck, which was savory and tender- would get again, even if it was a little small for a $22 meal. I also got a mimosa and a raspberry beret- the beret was delicious and served with the coolest presentation- they used dry ice to create smoke! The decor is very maximalist mid century- love it! Great for a date or if you are impressing someone. Don't let the location scare you off- everything around it looks closed but once you get inside it's absolutely beautiful. I can't end this review without gushing about the staff. I had a weird fainting episode and scared the crap out of my friend- our server and the rest of the staff were on it, so sweet and helpful. They got me a cold towel and an ice bucket so that I could recover. I was so impressed by how they handled everything! Ultimately, I would come back just for the service, but the food and drinks were excellent as well. Definitely worth returning for!

A Wednesday 430pm - wasn't crowded. My husband told them it was my birthday before we arrived so they made me an ube martini. Purple and fantastic! I ordered the tiramisu, my husband got a classic espresso and my best friend got the Dubai chocolate. All of them were beautiful! I think my favorite was the Dubai chocolate. We also ordered appetizers of the burrata and the sweet potato croquette. Burrata is always fantastic! The croquettes were good. They were doing Star Wars themed drinks for May the 4th so Star Wars was playing in a screen (that you could barely see due to the sun). They both got the red velvet espresso martini topped with whipped coffee. It was cute but very sugary. Service was fantastic! The staff was so nice!! Lincolns absolutely delivers on the speakeasy vibe - from trying to find the door, to figuring out how to actually get inside (LOL), to settling in with drinks once you're finally through. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and memorable. **Tip: it actually isn't too hard to find. I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2. Something is COOKING through the glass. 3. Find the stairs down. 4. If you hear music and see some impressive doors, figure out how to LIFT the handle to get inside.

Price: This is the most budget-friendly spot I've found in the area. Almost everything is $5! It is CASH ONLY, but don't worry if you forget. They have an ATM inside for you to use. Drink: I ordered the Continental, which is their take on an Old Fashioned with a black cherry. It was delicious and definitely didn't taste like a cheap drink despite the price point.
