It was pretty quiet and we had an entire corner to ourselves (big perk when you have a little one). Decent drink menu with some fun options, though as stayed somewhat classic with an old fashioned and whiskey sour. We started with the shishitos - a favorite dish of mine. Then the clearly Gen Z server handed us half the number of menus as we had in our group. Waters? Again a problem with math. Every time we asked for something - proper number of menus or waters - the server rolled their eyes. The entrees came out one at a time so that by the last person received their meal it had been 15 minutes since the first person got theirs. Therefore - cold. The food is overpriced and bland. We've taken our family here for years and never had any problems, after tonight we will not be going back. The service was terrible and there was a hair in my son's water. It started off when we were seated and not given enough menus, not a big deal- we shared. Then they didn't bring enough waters, when we asked, the server rolled her eyes. When they brought our food they didn't bring it all at once, the last two dishes came nearly 10 minutes after the first two. When we asked the server she acted bothered. It is easy to make reservations online but there is also plenty of seating at least during lunchtime on weekdays when my group and I visited. The overall atmosphere is great for business meetings which it seemed like most people were there for. It is also very clear that the staff are trained very well to accommodate for busy business people that need their meals and go back to work. The food itself however is very mediocre. Nothing tasted bad but it felt like what is aimed for is "let's just make it good enough so people don't complain and focus on our service". I know it sounds harsh, but you just have to try it out to understand. If the lunch wasn't on the company's dime, I would've been upset. Went during Wednesday happy hour. Place wasn't crazy busy, and we were able to sit wherever we liked. It was a comfortable volume to chat. Drinks were very good; I enjoyed their rice lager and drunk Buddha. The small plates we ordered were all delicious- I normally don't like a fried sushi roll, but it wasn't oily at all. Edamame was nothing to write home about, but I enjoyed all of the dumplings and ribs. I think some chili oil would have made me rate these dishes higher, since the shortrib dumplings were a little on the sweet side. The dry ribs were perfect. The Szechuan dumplings could have had a little more Szechuan, honestly! It was pretty mild/ no mouth numbing at all, haha. I think we could have also a little more food with each small plates; the portions were a tad small to share for the price. Little Ollies is a great Asian fusion restaurant in Cherry Creek. We came for an anniversary meal and had no issue getting a table of seven without reservation on Sunday evening. Our sever was very helpful. She did a great job of checking in on us and refilling water/drinks. The food is good. Some items are better than others. The soups (hot and sour and chicken egg drop) are fire as well as the sesame tofu, lo mein (had chicken this go around, pad Thai and peppercorn beef (all dishes shared family style) The beef soup dumplings were mediocre on the other hand. The soup wasn't hot and the dough a bit thick. The bonsai drink sounded great with Japanese whiskey cucumber lime and mint. Something else was in the cocktail that made it very sweet and should have been listed. The parking is easy on a Sunday and they do offer a small lot with dedicated spots just to the west. read more

Despite a reservation we waited 40 minutes for our table, the hostess kept forgetting our reservation name, and asked us 3-4 times who we were. Not the place for anyone with dietary restrictions or allergies. The staff seemed unsure of what dishes had which allergens and had no idea what dishes could be made vegan. This was the first Chinese restaurant I've been to that hardly had any vegan options at all. The pad Thai here can be done vegan if the eggs are removed and add tofu. All of our dishes came out at separate times, sometimes missing key parts. For non vegan food, my family loved it, especially I believe it was the miso cod (despite the small portion size) read more

Went to Little Ollie's for a girl's night while in Denver and had a phenomenal time! Upon entering, they have a very picture-worthy ivy wall. The staff was very friendly and seated us right away. Let's start with my drink. The BEST Lychee Martini I have ever had. If a restaurant has a lychee martini, I'm ordering it and this one blew everything else out of the water. If it wasn't considered alcoholism, I might have had 10. It had Citrus vodka, Li-Chi liqueur, lemon, and was topped with a lychee. I started my meal with the strawberry salmon roll, it had cream cheese, avocado, mango and of course salmon. It also came with a sauce that added a perfect sweetness to the rolls! For my main entree I got the Wagyu Fried Rice and it was PACKED with wagyu. A lot of restaurants would have given a sliver of meat but that was not the case here. With every bite I got a piece of tender, moist, flavorful wagyu. If you need a nice girl's night, date night or solo date restaurant, would definitely recommend! read more

Dealing with an immune compromised, elderly relative, it is a big deal to go out to dinner. I called Ollie's twice to confirm handicap accessible outdoor seating. Both times, I was told they did, so an outdoor table was reserved. Upon arriving, it became clear that the outdoor patio had high top tables only. There was no handicap accessible option. They wouldn't move a normal height table close to the patio, and the staff just looked at us like we shouldn't even try dining out. Due to my mother's immune issues, dining indoor is not advised. We had to arrange medical transport just to get there. This was more than a big inconvenience. I then arranged transport to take us to True Food, who had no issues with our request. read more

I love this place, and I have been many times, but this time was a little different. The service was a tad slow but the restroom definitely did seem busy so its fine. I ordered the Kobe Burger (photo) without lettuce and tomato, and with truffle fries. The burger was really good but the truffle fries left much to desire. It left a very unpleasant taste. The weight staff was so friendly and inviting! I started off with sushi. I got the rainbow sushi and it was delightful! I then moved on to an entrée which I selected Mongolian scallops. The scallops melted in your mouth! They did the scallops justice explanation sauce the Mongolian sauce was not overpowering at all! The place was a very nice set up. Made a reservation on open table. My friend arrived first and she used my name to get seated. I came in 5 minutes later, and there were three young girls at the hostess station. I said I have a reservation and my friend is already here...all I got was confused faces and was told that my friend isn't here. One of the hostesses said that she can "still seat me" and was escorted to a table. I texted my friend and asked her where she was, then I saw her getting up from another table in the restaurant. Unbelievable! The service was really off all night long and never got our drinks refilled, etc. The restaurant didn't have a non alcoholic drink menu. Had to ask the waitress all these questions to see what they have available. Unbelievable and unprofessional! I got home and got a no show notification from open table. The "girls" didn't know how to work open table. Really unprofessional and will not go back! Waited another 15 minutes and then I chased down a server to take our order. They were out of 4 different draft beers listed on their menu. Received our drinks, appetizers, and main dish at the same time. Sushi was okay, not sure I would get it again. Thai basil chicken was pretty good, would get this again. No real attempt at service recovery, no visible leadership evident at restaurant. Overall, they gave the impression that they don't know what they're doing, not sure I would eat here again. We do Asian food every year for Christmas Eve and I chose this place for their gluten free menu. $25 a meal Togo not including tip seemed outrages but I went for it because I thought "then it must be good". I got the general tso and the Singapore noodles. The Gen Tso portion was so incredibly small. There was one piece of broccoli, two small pieces of zucchini and four pieces of red pepper and the rice was mushy. The Singapore noodles portion was slightly bigger and it came with a decent amount of shrimp but it had zero flavor. All I could taste was noodles and eggs. I know sometimes restaurants have bad days but not chancing this again with $25 a meal. read more

Sushi seemed a day past fresh, soup dumplings were soupless and gummy, and the dry-rub ribs were fried hard and were barely edible. So, more like bar food. Since this was lunch, and we only had water with our few items, it was not a pleasant way to spend $80. Service was nice, so one star. We started with cocktails, and mine had some flowers sprinkled on top, which made it pretty, but I didn't love them in my drink. The service here was exceptionally good, especially in light of the struggles some restaurants are having with staff right how. Good job! We had drinks, apps and main course. All very delicious and flavorful and perfectly timed. Chicken pad Thai was well done. The Kung pao chicken was a double favorite at our table. The walnut shrimp had an exceptional presentation and looked as tasty as it was. Lots of seating for groups from 2 to 20. The patio is enhanced with a fine mist and lots of shady seating.
