Cucumber seaweed salad

This is the second time I visited this place and it has truly gone downhill. The dumplings we ordered kept coming out cold and the shareable plates lacked flavor. Very comparable to PFCHANGs. The server was attentive so that's the only reason for the 1 star.

my mom and i had an awesome lunch here: kale and cucumber salad and a sushi tray. everything was really fresh and the sushi was tender. i ordered a cocktail, which was also delicious. ambiance was nothing special but still nice. service was good. i was offered a complimentary cheesecake for my birthday, which i loved.

Little Ollie's is an Asian fusion spot located in Cherry Creek. It is easy to make reservations online but there is also plenty of seating at least during lunchtime on weekdays when my group and I visited. The overall atmosphere is great for business meetings which it seemed like most people were there for. It is also very clear that the staff are trained very well to accommodate for busy business people that need their meals and go back to work. The food itself however is very mediocre. Nothing tasted bad but it felt like what is aimed for is "let's just make it good enough so people don't complain and focus on our service". I know it sounds harsh, but you just have to try it out to understand. If the lunch wasn't on the company's dime, I would've been upset. Overall, they kill it with the service and ambiance, but the food leaves a lot to be desired.

This place was great! Prices are high but this entire area is pretty insane on prices. The larger entrees are okay (woks, noodles, rice, etc) but the appetizers and shareables are the best items here. The soup dumplings were so yummy that we got 2 of them. Service was solid but I feel they may be a bit understaffed. Not too loud and they have outdoor seating available too.

Went during Wednesday happy hour. Place wasn't crazy busy, and we were able to sit wherever we liked. It was a comfortable volume to chat. Drinks were very good; I enjoyed their rice lager and drunk Buddha. The small plates we ordered were all delicious- I normally don't like a fried sushi roll, but it wasn't oily at all. Edamame was nothing to write home about, but I enjoyed all of the dumplings and ribs. I think some chili oil would have made me rate these dishes higher, since the shortrib dumplings were a little on the sweet side. The dry ribs were perfect. The Szechuan dumplings could have had a little more Szechuan, honestly! It was pretty mild/ no mouth numbing at all, haha. I think we could have also a little more food with each small plates; the portions were a tad small to share for the price. Overall, though, I enjoyed the food and drinks and will be back again to try some entrees!

Yelp is pretty spot on... It aint 4 but it is not a 3 either...so I would say 3.5 Happy hour is the way to go. Great location...like I can stagger home after drinking. Loved the Tofu lettuce cups, crispy honey tofu, and both of my cocktails that were excellently crafted. Meh: crab rangoon, kobe beef sliders, salt and pepper dry ribs. Service is friendly but disorganized ...but I liked it...great guys.

Nice Chinese takeout spot. They've got a little bit of everything - sushi, dim sum, noodles and mains. We wanted takeout but were right next door so popped in and carried out. Good portion sizes & super classic takeout taste.

Little Ollies is a great Asian fusion restaurant in Cherry Creek. We came for an anniversary meal and had no issue getting a table of seven without reservation on Sunday evening. Our sever was very helpful. She did a great job of checking in on us and refilling water/drinks. The food is good. Some items are better than others. The soups (hot and sour and chicken egg drop) are fire as well as the sesame tofu, lo mein (had chicken this go around, pad Thai and peppercorn beef (all dishes shared family style) The beef soup dumplings were mediocre on the other hand. The soup wasn't hot and the dough a bit thick. The bonsai drink sounded great with Japanese whiskey cucumber lime and mint. Something else was in the cocktail that made it very sweet and should have been listed. The parking is easy on a Sunday and they do offer a small lot with dedicated spots just to the west.

Just had the best lunch at Little Ollie's. We had a group so ordered lots to share. Our server was so amazing!! She was on point with everything we asked for!! We had the crab Rangoon, crispy honey shrimp,Mongolian Beef,Thai Basil, green beans, shrimp fried rice, hamachi jalapeño. All were beyond terrific!! Food is prepared using quality ingredients. No MSG!! Yay!

Staff = friendly and kind. Drinks = relatively strong and good flavor. Food = get the short rib dumplings and any of the sushi. Environment = not too loud and easy to converse. Only improvement would be for slightly larger portions for their happy hour plates.

Went to Little Ollie's for a girl's night while in Denver and had a phenomenal time! Upon entering, they have a very picture-worthy ivy wall. The staff was very friendly and seated us right away. Let's start with my drink. The BEST Lychee Martini I have ever had. If a restaurant has a lychee martini, I'm ordering it and this one blew everything else out of the water. If it wasn't considered alcoholism, I might have had 10. It had Citrus vodka, Li-Chi liqueur, lemon, and was topped with a lychee. I started my meal with the strawberry salmon roll, it had cream cheese, avocado, mango and of course salmon. It also came with a sauce that added a perfect sweetness to the rolls! For my main entree I got the Wagyu Fried Rice and it was PACKED with wagyu. A lot of restaurants would have given a sliver of meat but that was not the case here. With every bite I got a piece of tender, moist, flavorful wagyu. If you need a nice girl's night, date night or solo date restaurant, would definitely recommend!

From the amazing views to the welcoming staff, everything about this place feels elevated and memorable. The food and drinks were just as impressive. The Ahi Poke with tortilla chips was outstanding, with thick, luxurious ponzu-tossed tuna, creamy avocado, pickled jalapeños, red onions, and furikake. The hummus was also a standout, especially with the matcha salsa, pita chips, and fresh crudité. For drinks, the frozen margaritas were a must -- especially with the mango or guava upgrade, which our server recommended and absolutely nailed. If you're looking for delicious food, creative cocktails, amazing service, and the best rooftop vibes of the summer, Kisbee on the Roof is a must-visit. Highly recommend upgrading to a cabana for the full experience!

It has great views of the city! The pool itself is very small. The chairs fill up quickly and it can feel like trying to claim your spot on a cruise- scoping out who even flinches to take over their spot. However, once you do get a spot, the loungers are super comfortable and there are plenty of umbrellas for shade. They do have cabanas that you can reserve. One thing that they do very well is service. The staff is constantly circulating the pool deck, providing drinks and bites to guests. The service was noticeably excellent and attentive.

Started with guac and plantain chips that set a promising tone. Most of the group ordered the bison burger, medium, for $40. The meat looked closer to med/rare. Overall, I don't know that I would return for the seemingly overpriced food; but would return for drinks and apps.

We had an amazing dinner at Local Jones (LJs) at the Halcyon Hotel, visiting on the second night of their new menu, and they absolutely nailed it. Our party of four was impressed from start to finish. The staff was outstanding--knowledgeable, prompt, and attentive without ever hovering. It felt like they truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. The food was excellent across the board. My New York strip was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The rest of our group loved their dishes just as much--the mussels, shepherd's pie, and braised short ribs all got rave reviews. It's not often that four totally different entrées are all home runs, but LJs pulled it off. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. We will definitely make LJs a regular stop whenever we're in Denver. Highly recommend!

The price was a bit high, but the quality of the meal was spot on. I had the seared scallops with celery root puree, pomegranate seeds, cous cous, and toasted hazelnuts. Divine. My husband had the filet mignon with Bearnaise sauce, and roasted potatoes and asparagus. Also amazing. Both dishes per cooked to perfection. All employees were professional and our server was friendly. The atmosphere was lovely--clean, warm, inviting. It was an interesting journey to find the bathroom. It's shared with other parts of the building and was the only thing that needed attending. Four stars for the messy bathrooms, price being quite high, and it was a 2 hour and 45 min dinner. Took forever. I've never had so many glasses of water in my life in such a short period of time. If you can afford it, I would certainly say the food was almost worth it--desserts were just okay, and one of the appetizers was alright.

Some of courses were delicious and some were mediocre. We spent almost $700 for a party of four. The situation that needs the most improvement was the pace of the meal. The courses were separated by a 20-30-minute wait time. Considering that the courses were very small and contained 5-6 pieces for a party of four... that equates to a little more than a small bite every 20-30 minutes. The dinner took 2.5 hours to develop, and we were honestly still hungry by the end. The waiter started asking us if were "still hungry" at about the fifth courses. By the end, we felt awkward in asking for more. The wagyu beef was particularly disappointing as the beef was somewhat chewy, lacking taste and small. Waiters seemed to be near their capacity of workload. Didn't really take the time to serve, walk you thru the menus, keep the service moving or even gauge your level of satisfaction. We ordered dessert to celebrate the birthday. Apart from a small chocolate plaque on the dessert that said, "happy birthday", there was no attempt to celebrate the occasion as other less exclusive restaurants do... no "happy birthday" wish, no courtesy dessert... nothing special. The best part of this meal was by far, the young couple that accompanied us. Friendly advice: if you want to impress a client with something the feels exclusive... this may be the place. If you are looking for amazing food, being pampered and feeling your money was "well spent", try another place. I don't plan to visit this restaurant soon.

Considering the only other US location is in California, I was surprised and knew this would be my opportunity to try it! The aesthetic is modern & elevated with Japanese wooden features. I got 3 classic dishes which was just the right amount of food. I honestly recommend coming with a group to try more items since you know everything will be delicious. The Yellowtail Jalapeño is a signature dish; the yellowtail was delicate & buttery and the citrus soy with the bight of jalapeño made each bite clean, bright, with some subtle heat. I did not expect the Rock Shrimp Tempura to be that good! The shrimp was lightly battered & fried but the sauces were the highlights! Their creamy spicy is a very well-done spicy mayo but the butter ponzu was unreal! Super addictive, rich, and unlike any sauce I've had before. Shout out to my waitress for suggesting getting both sauces on the side rather than lathered on the shrimp, which also kept it crispy. Last but certainly not least is the famous Black Cod! The fish is super buttery and flaky; there were some caramelized edges from the miso glaze which added so much depth & richness to the bite. It's a good balance of sweetness, savoriness, umami that is bound to be good. All in all, so grateful I got to try what many call an institution and will certainly try more of chef Nobu's restaurants.
