If you're looking for a go-to casual Chinese spot, please do yourself a favor and make this one it. I haven't been to the OG Centennial restaurant, but this location has definitely given me some local franchise loyalty. If it isn't too busy, you can usually find free street parking on the residential street intersecting Colfax. Our first visit was on Lunar New Year, where things were packed and HKS3 was still fairly new, but the staff still managed to keep people and food flowing while maintaining an air of sanguinity. The walls are bursting with custom murals depicting Hong Kong and give the dining area a feeling of animation even without the live people inside. I will warn that the tables closest to the door can get quite drafty on a cold day as people come in and out. Two TV screens are usually set to some type of food channel that you can watch while waiting for your food. The menu is extensive in a typically HK diner fashion. Honestly though, pick any combination of ingredients that you like eating and you'll probably enjoy your food. The favorites we've had so far are Braised Tofu, Tofu Clay Pot, and the Eggplant in Garlic Sauce. Each dish comes with a serving of white or fried rice (white rice every time; the fried rice is somewhat lackluster). This is not a place you go for snacking - the food can be heavy and greasy, and we always end up with leftovers even if we come on an empty stomach, which still reheat wonderfully. read more

YUM!!! Get one of everything! Some foodie friends of mine really enjoy the other locations of this restaurant, so when we tried this spot before a show in the area, I knew we would be in for a treat. Their menu star is definitely that Hong Kong style French toast, which leans on the rich and sweet flavors of the honey icing topping and the gooey peanut butter center. If you like sweets, you'll like this! My favorite item was the salt and pepper shrimp. This is the newer location of Hong Kong Station. They have a parking lot in the back. The interior is clean and floor is carpeted. The wall has the names of cities in Hong Kong. Bathroom is separated by gender. Menu is extensive. One side of the menu seems more "authentic" and includes some Sichuan style dishes. Portion sizes were ok. Hot n sour soup was $6.95 for big bowl. Good to share. Seafood tofu pot $19.95 - maybe the best of these dishes that I tried Cumin lamb $18.95 Sichuan style spicy chicken (bone in) $17.95 - usually 辣子雞 doesn't have bones. The flavor was not quite what I'm used to, but it's passable. Sichuan style spicy beef brisket and tendon pot $20.95 - good amount of beef brisket and tendon. Too much sauce left at the bottom of the bowl HK style French toast $6.50 - they use peanut butter in the middle of two slices of bread Sichuan style spicy pork intestine $18.95 - on the greasy side When I was there, they were out of milk tea. As a regular customer of the Hong Kong Station down in Centenniel, I decided to give this one a try. Walking in, very welcoming staff and clean environment. Lots of tables and space which is great. In terms of food, I heard great things about the Szechuan Chicken, which did not disappoint. It has that classic spicy mala flavor. Recommend the bone in, each piece has a good amount of meat. It may have been a tad saltier than what I'd like, but really just personal preference. The Udon with Sizzling Beef was a great balance of veggies, carbs, and meat. Spot on with the seasoning. Fish tofu hotpot was really good too. The broth that they use wasn't too salty and had a good umami flavor. Fish pieces were generous and pretty soft. Waiters and waitresses were so nice, came by to give us napkins and water refills. Gave us some complementary fried bread (mantou) with condensed milk at the end. Overall a solid place to try! The newest location for Hong Kong Station! What a treat it was to have lunch here on Christmas! Plenty of parking and very easy to find this location. Upon arrival we were greated right away and were seated. The staff is really friendly and double checked if we had any allergies before and after we ordered. During this visit we got all the appetizers and they were all delicious and came out hot. Also to be noted the murals on the walls is definitely a great conversation starter. Could not be more thrilled that HK station's newest outpost is so close to me We've always loved the original and were more than happy to go out of our way just for them, but now have the luxury of going whenever. This place has all the canto and sichuan classics, served up by a friendly team. It's so easy to order the favorites every time (garlic eggplant/鱼香茄子, sichuan fish 水煮鱼, mapo tofu, chongqing chicken), but I do try and order something I haven't tried before each time. Those dishes have never failed to disappoint either. Also another standout is that regardless of location, the staff will STAN any birthday. Twice now we've celebrated a friend's birthday there and they make it *lit* with a birthday song (with English and Chinese ) that plays over the intercom. They also have been more than happy to bring extra plates for the cake we bring, even asking if it needs to be stored in the fridge during dinner. I've had basic Chinese food/takeout and this is not it, very much an elevated version of a classic dish. The French toast was fun, it had peanut butter in the middle which isn't my thing but I could understand if you enjoy peanut butter and French toast together, this would make you very happy. When you love the original Hong Kong Station in Centennial, your expectations are high. Luckily, Hong Kong Station 3 understood the assignment, and bonus points for being only 5 minutes away from home. The flavors are spot on and consistent with the OG, which immediately won me over. My mom and I went family-style with the salty fish chicken fried rice, sweet and spicy beef, and wonton noodle soup. Everything arrived hot, fast, and in portions so generous we left with enough leftovers for round two (and maybe three). Service was smooth and efficient, and the food didn't waste any time making it to the table - always a win. While it still has that "new location" feel, the food absolutely carries. Could not be more excited that they opened a Hong Kong Station 5 minutes walking from my house. This spot is the real deal when it comes to Chinese food. We ordered takeout and everything was perfectly delicious. I genuinely haven't had this good of Chinese food in Colorado before. The Szechuan chicken and beef Chao were next level. Tasty but I've been warned. First time here. Tried Szechuan Beef and it had a flavor profile I've never had with the aforementioned spicy heat along with a salty combo of spices. (Not overly salty but just enough to set off the flavors in your mouth). The HK French toast dessert was a unique treat after a very spicy meal and helped put out the fire in my mouth. Can't judge service as in got it to go other than to say when I ordered they said it will be about 15 minutes so I left and went for a walk, came back 14 minutes later they were bagging my my order as soon as in walked in the door. I came back a second visit and had the crab cheese wontons that had something wrong with them. Maybe expired cream cheese? I spit it out immediately knowing something was wrong. This is the only disappointment of both visits because the sweet and sour pork was on point. They did 3 out of 4 at a very high level, but then bombed on the crab wonton! The food was absolutely incredible. The service was fantastic as well! . Michelle instantly greeted with a very friendly attitude and was prompt about getting water and apps going. The chef/ owner (we aren't sure) checked on us every step of the way. And made sure the food was tasting good for us. The steamed dumplings were perfect, the egg drop soup was Far above average. And the entrees (chicken broccoli, and Szechuan boiled beef) were perfect and better than any other place we've tried in years. This new location is more spacious than #2(*** stars, takeout) but less cozy than #1. The menu is the same as the original location. The food was pretty good, but we definitely missed the cozy feeling of the original restaurant. Service was rather slow, but our server was apologetic. We absolutely love HK Station 1 & 2. We just visited HK3 Station for the second time. Our second visit was to give it another chance. The first time we ordered veggie lo mein. It was awful. The noodles were al dente spaghetti noodles and it had TONS of jarred garlic. No fresh garlic. The taste was overbearing. We had family in town and we thought we'd be showing off one our favorite restaurants. Tonight, we tried again. We ordered wonton soup as a starter and beef & broccoli. Beef & broccoli came out with in 5 min & it was lukewarm. Our "starter", the wonton soup, was cold and the two wontons were even colder. Beef & broccoli had tons of jarred garlic bits, again, and that jarred garlic taste. The beef was dry/overcooked. It tastes like maybe it's been sitting in a cooker. That'd make sense, because it came out so fast. The waitress was kind. We don't fault her at all. We believe management could do better. read more
