My mom, my matron of honor, and i had the most AMAZING experience at this store. We originally had an appointment at another makeup store and due to some unfortunate circumstances, we were told that they would not be able to do our makeup for my wedding. My mom was frantically calling around and spoke to Jennifer. She told us to come on over and the team was so great as they got us ready for my wedding. Jennifer, Alessandra, and Nena were so professional and wonderful! They truly lifted my spirits on my wedding day and made me feel like a beautiful bride. I wish there were more ways for me to thank them for all that they did on such a short notice! and in the process of doing our makeup, they still took care of shoppers that came in the store. I hadn't shopped at MAC in a while but i will definitely be going back to the La Cantera store to do business. read more

Walked out with tons of new lipsticks I never even knew MAC carried as well as a better matching under eye concealer. Joseph was engaging, polite, helpful, and informative. I made an appointment for makeup service on a Saturday afternoon. I arrived a few minutes early but they took me anyway. Joseph was my artist. I showed him the dress I was wearing and showed him a few photos of makeup looks I was going for. After that Joseph went straight to work and created a beautiful look that matched perfectly to my dress and event I was about to attend. This was the first time I went to a MAC store for services and I was a bit hesitant, but once Joseph started and chatted a little my nerves were put at ease. He made me feel so comfortable. The finished look was absolutely perfect!!!! A few of the other staff were around during the session and all were very friendly. I'm sure I will be back very soon! read more

This past Thursday was the day of my graduation and I originally had 2 MUA appointment, but both of them bailed on me. I spoke with Jennifer on the phone and asked if she can squeeze me in. First off, I had a hard time getting help. Secondly, when I finally got my product, I asked the associate to give me another one because I noticed something wrong with the first. These girls are very friendly, they know how to treat an client and do amazing make up! I brought my fiancé here to this location to have her make up done for a wedding that she had that same day. She had inquired to the MAC Dept in Dillard's about setting up an appointment the day before at North Star mall, I believe. They informed her that they do not make appointments now and only accept walk in business. Anticipating that we would probably compete with other customers trying to get their makeup done at the same time we would, we showed up to the MAC at La Cantera early to try to get in quickly. We were informed as we walked in that they had two appointments back to back, grandfathered in from the previous policy and that there was no guarantee that she would be seen soon or how long it would take. I could immediately see the frustration in my fiancés face. The assistant GM Jennifer recognized this and immediately started offering solutions. She called another location to find availability with no success. She then took it upon herself, with great appreciation from us both,to personally make sure that her makeup would be done. I am so grateful to her and applaud her customer service. She applied the make up and did so efficiently, all while talking to me and my fiancé. I have taken her to previous appointments and always had to wait for an hour to hour and a half for them to be finished and with less personal touch. Jennifer took the stress out of our situation and she was delighted with the results! So thank you Jennifer for making our day run smoothly and allowing her to feel confident at the event. read more

I have been a MAC cosmetics groupie for years. I just love their products and have such a variety of their products. I have been to countless mac stores in several different states, and I have never gotten the service that I got at the MAC store in La Cantera. In any other store the employees are just always trying to rush you out and truly not provide you with the information you wanted to get before you left the store. Yesterday though was so different Jennifer and her team were beyond amazing. Jennifer took the time to tell me about my skin, and why I was having the issues I was having. She gave me recommendations for how to help my skin, and told me what MAC products would help. I truly got more out of going to that one session, then I did any of the other years I have gone to MAC consultants. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would because the service I received was beyond amazing, and everyone is truly so friendly and willing to provided the necessary information to great skin care, to get the most out of their products. I will definitely be only going to this MAC store for any other of my needs in the future. read more
