It was a little messy at times, with some food left on tables and crumbs around, but it didn't take away from how good the food was. Staff was super friendly as well. I was in Spokane for my 40th class reunion and my friend Kathy took me to this restaurant. They were really good about splitting both orders so we could try both with no extra fee which is huge plus! I'm not big on walk-up to the counter service, but she brought us our food and pre-paid drinks to the table. I was sad they didn't have a bottle of Chardonnay to sell us so we had to pay by the glass which is more expensive. The wine was tasty! The spinach salad was spicy, they should warn people they put red chili flakes in their salad, we didn't eat much of it because our mouths were on fire. A few minutes later, a waitstaff came to inform us that they ran out of pork belly so I could order something else in lieu of my BLTA. I opted for French fries. Instead of doing a price adjustment on my bill, the waitstaff refunded my BLTA order and comped my fries. We went out to dinner for the first time on July 12th 2025 to Kasa, where we ordered 2 dinners, one was the Pork Belly Butter in a bowl and the other was the Del Rio Pork in a bowl. It was the underpinnings, that was the problem. The rice w bland and devoid of all taste, as well as the chopped vegetables. That part was very disappointing. My drink was excellent and was very spirit forward. I enjoyed its it bitters and the cherry taste. For dessert, we tried the stout milkshake, which was simple and best after it melted awhile.. But in the future, we'd come back and try the brownie with the hazelnut ganache. We went outside to check the beer garden as potential. It looked like they were ripping up the landscape to possibly plant gardens. The moment we walked in on a busy Friday night we were greeted by the friendly staff who said there was one table left and it was all ours. Two of us had been there once before and for the other two it was a first time. Despite being busy, all of the staff were patient and helpful! We could tell they are happy to work there. Even though you have to go to the counter to order, we still got all of our questions answered and our food and drinks were brought to the table so we didn't have to keep getting up. We started with an order of pretzel bites and tater tots to share and they did not let down. The tater tots were even declared by some of us to be the best ever, and the house smoky ketchup was so delicious - don't skip that! Three out of four had the Sticky Orange Crispy Chicken with rice, and even though the serving size was plentiful, no one left a bite to take home for leftovers, so I'd say that meal was a hit among my three friends who each have different likes and dislikes - they all loved this! The comments they made were about the freshness of the snap peas, the overall flavor of the orange chicken with just right sweetness, and the amazing Kasa bread. I had the Hot Honey Crispy Chicken sandwich on Kasa bread with a side salad (because we already had pretzel bites and tots), and for just being a side salad I loved everything about it and scarfed that down first. I did eat about a quarter of my sandwich before I was full, and it was also amazing - perfectly crisp chicken, spicy but not too much, and yummy house made pickles! I loved the rest of it again the next day for lunch. Two of my friends had the blood orange mule which one said was delicious and the other said it is her favorite drink now! I had the cucumber margarita and I must also say I want this again and again, it was so refreshing and strong enough without tipping me over. The decor is simple, but nice and clean! When I was there before and it wasn't busy it felt a bit like a cafeteria, but it was clean, comfortable and had ample room at each booth or table. This time, it was full and vibrant and we were so happy to get a table at all, let alone one with plenty of room for our coats and purses, and all of that wonderful food! It's more of a casual restaurant, you place your order through your phone (you can order at a register up front) so seeing that entrees were generally between 17-18 dollars was a little surprising. Found this gem on a business trip and was positively impressed. I elected to dine-in and ordering at the table by QR code couldn't have been easier. I started with the daily soup (Island Chicken with pineapple and veggies), and it was lovely with just a tough of heat. We were sat a booth that was so narrow and small and uncomfortable (we are not big people, BTW) that we could not wait to be finished with our meal to stand up. There is the option of ordering at the counter, which our friends did, but the line was long and when I go out, I am paying for the luxury of being waited on. Our friends, who did order from the counter, both ordered salads, which both arrived in to-go boxes with the lids cut off. The beer selection was nice although they did not have everything they said they did. My $15.00 margarita was good but super small. Salads were fine but not worth the money.
