Joe Cygan was unprofessional and had lousy customer service. In my over 40 years of home building…read moreconstruction I've never run into a more inept rude material salesman. What's worse is they won't take responsibility for thier own mistakes. Tried to throw me under the bus with my customer. They're take offs are far from complete and they pass the buck on personal responsibility. They can't even unload hardiboard siding they don't have the equipment , they claimed to have told me they couldn't deliver, without me supplying a forklift. But the truth was Joe never told me he couldn't deliver the product, his dispatcher did. But he then he said he'd figure something out. Then they both threw me under the bus to protect themselves for whatever reason, I couldn't care less what they said about me. But I thought we were good and worked things out. So as an act of good will I sent another house over to bid with MY OWN material take off and Joe sent a passive aggressive email to all my subs, and supplier's etc and in the email thread saying he wouldn't supply for THIS CONTRACTOR. All of this unnecessary passive aggressive behavior over a small disagreement started OVER A FORKLIFT. They claim thier customer service makes up for thier higher prices. But that is not so. My experience with Builders first source BMC UFP They have far superior customer service and material take offs that are always within 10%.. I just walked out of builders first source with everything I need and was treated fairly and with respect, as the way I am accustomed. Side note the owner of County line seemed reasonable and fair. But wouldn't fix anything.

Chris from paint was especially instrumental in making this a 3 star instead of the 1 star it used to be. Chris took a significant amount of time to help me acquire an item (gift) from the top shelf of an isle and then some materials needed for a repair. The items took us all over the store and about 30 min total but he was patient and helpful the entire time. I also had a really good customer service experience where I left something at the self checkout, called, and it was waiting for me the next time I came in. If this trend keeps up I will be updating this to a 4 or 5 in no time!

Rather than simply answer the question, the unbelievable action y'all chose was to yell down the aisle at "John" who can answer if you sell empty syringe dispensers. John was actively helping someone else, and still did a job THREE of you couldn't do--instead staring at me like I walked into a love scene. Later, I asked the three of you about a hacksaw. The perplexed response of "Hacksaw?" was easily the most profound display of incompetence by workers behind a counter I've ever encountered in my life. It's far beyond pure laziness. The disrespectful way you treated me was worth a lot more than another one star review to a store that the entire community obviously avoids. By the way, a hacksaw is a tool used to cut a variety of materials extremely effectively. It would be considered an essential item found at any hardware store on planet earth. I would be ashamed of myself if I ever expected someone to pay me to treat their customers as you did Monday night and it seems John isn't too fond of your little group chat either. Your actions actually affect other people around you. Grow up and come to that realization or become a victim of your own incompetence. I promise it doesn't go unnoticed for even one day. Good luck.
