    We had a Whirlpool washing machine ordered online and delivered August 11th, 2025 Monday from store location Lowe's in Longmont through a third party contractor Lowe's hires. The washing machine was defective and flooded our floor gushing water from underneath the machine. The 18004456937 Lowe's customer service was helpful contacting Longmont Lowe's appliance department and spoke with the appliance manager Mike explaining that this was an urgent matter. He scheduled the third party to look for a water leak on 8/13 Wednesday. The third party verified the machine was malfunctioning and advised us to phone Lowe's Longmont store an hour later to schedule the machine being picked up and swapped for a working washing machine. The contractor informed us it would take at least an hour for Lowe's store to have the notes they wrote. We phoned Lowe's Longmont and the sales employee in appliances told me we would have to contact the third party contractor to make these arrangements. She explained she did not have the notes from the contractor and did not have contact information for the contractor. My response is we purchased this machine from Lowe's, it was delivered from the Longmont Lowe's location and we have only had this machine since 8/112025 when it immediately malfunction. We ask to speak with a manager and she said there wasn't one available. My husband then said if this isn't resolved he will load the washer in his pick up and drop it at their store. Next the employee said s she will get the manager. Steve addressed himself as the manager at Lowe's Longmont on 8/13. He said they do not receive the notes from the third party contractor. He explained he would order a pick up for Friday 08/15/2025. Thursday 8/14 I phoned Lowe's 18004456937 customer service to confirm pick up scheduled 8/15. The Lowe's Customer service DID NOT have this machine scheduled to pick up. Manager STEVE at LONGMONT LOWES appliances never scheduled the pick up. If I had not followed through to confirm this I would have been inconvenienced waiting with a window from 8am to 8pm. The 800 customer service has been accommodating and as helpful as possible throughout this entire experience. The machine is scheduled for another day and we have confirmation through email from Lowe's 800 customer support team. I will never recommend Lowe's Longmont to purchase appliances.

    Beware! Bought a Bosch dishwasher at this Lowe's in 2022 and had them deliver and install it. Worked fine for nearly 2 years and then abruptly died one day. After checking that the breaker and GFCI were working, pulled the dishwasher to check the power to the unit. Upon opening the junction box, discovered that the wiring and connectors had completely burned up. The box comes with the installation kit from Bosch. Don't know if the item was defective, but I strongly suspect that it was improperly installed. We were lucky the house didn't burn down. Called Lowe's and they only warranty their work for a year (without the extended warranty). It's probably for the best as I wouldn't trust them to repair this anyway. I recommend that you get a licensed electrician to install any electrical appliance and do not trust Lowe's.

    Lowe's "plumber" stacked a bunch of plastic washers to force the part to fit.

Another thing was, I called the Westminster Home Depot and their appliance department picked up right away. This Home Depot took 3 calls and waiting five minutes on the third call to finally speak to someone. Maybe they have less people, idk but I'd try a different Home Depot before I go back to this one.

I had to specially arrange a day off and coverage. Emptied as much of the living room as I could, per their instructions. An hour into their window,they called and canceled. Until Friday. I can't reschedule work, and reset, then unset the furniture. I'm 70, and have some conditions. Not important to them. They can only work weekdays, when I do, and take flimsy excuses from their contractors/employees, which I don't. They know people depend on them, and don't really care. I spent $400 on a hotel room, because I'm too old and busy to unset , reset, then unset my living room a couple of times at their convenience. Judging by what I've heard, I hope and pray they ACTUALLY do it on the second appointment. But I'm not counting on it. I hope the landlord can monitor them properly. Because for some reason. I don't trust them.

    Joe Cygan was unprofessional and had lousy customer service. In my over 40 years of home building…read moreconstruction I've never run into a more inept rude material salesman. What's worse is they won't take responsibility for thier own mistakes. Tried to throw me under the bus with my customer. They're take offs are far from complete and they pass the buck on personal responsibility. They can't even unload hardiboard siding they don't have the equipment , they claimed to have told me they couldn't deliver, without me supplying a forklift. But the truth was Joe never told me he couldn't deliver the product, his dispatcher did. But he then he said he'd figure something out. Then they both threw me under the bus to protect themselves for whatever reason, I couldn't care less what they said about me. But I thought we were good and worked things out. So as an act of good will I sent another house over to bid with MY OWN material take off and Joe sent a passive aggressive email to all my subs, and supplier's etc and in the email thread saying he wouldn't supply for THIS CONTRACTOR. All of this unnecessary passive aggressive behavior over a small disagreement started OVER A FORKLIFT. They claim thier customer service makes up for thier higher prices. But that is not so. My experience with Builders first source BMC UFP They have far superior customer service and material take offs that are always within 10%.. I just walked out of builders first source with everything I need and was treated fairly and with respect, as the way I am accustomed. Side note the owner of County line seemed reasonable and fair. But wouldn't fix anything.
