It's just a charming, off-the-beaten-path setting. Yet it's still close enough to downtown Mill Valley. The weather's always sunny. It never gets too windy. The courts are all well-maintained. The members are very Marin (but without the snooty attitude that you find at other clubs). They have a very cozy/casual clubhouse, complete with a full bar, kitchen, TV room, and ping pong table. It looks more like a camp clubhouse from the 70s. But that's kind of its charm. They have plenty of couches by the windows so you can watch matches on their two center courts while nursing a beer. Since it's a private club, they don't allow outside guests to purchase drinks (unless they're purchased by a member). I thought that was a bit strange. I even offered to pay cash, but they couldn't do it. However, for some reason, it was ok for me to pay by credit card (you figure that one out). That being said, the lady working the bar was very sweet and poured a tasty margarita. All in all, Mill Valley Tennis Club is a lovely addition to Marin County's recreational community, and I look forward to playing there again soon.

We had the veggie spring rolls with a yummy dipping sauce and the drunken noodles with veggies. Both were excellent - there was nothing left on our plates when finished. The Courts are beautifully maintained and the pros and members are truly hospitable and courteous. I have played on courts in SF and in Southern Marin and hate the cold weather and wind. San Rafael has the ideal location for great tennis! MTC is the best Club to play in Marin and the SF Bay Area!

Club is not telling us when they will actually close down. We keep getting emails from management…read moresaying to disregard the rumors, that they don't know when they will close...but sometime in the coming future. In the meantime, those of us who paid to join are left wondering how to plan for when they close down and tear it down to build an entirely new club. We are also seeing lots of deferred maintenance, since they know they are closing sometime in the future to build a new, entirely different club. So much uncertainty is bad for morale, both for members and staff.

My son worked a full day there (10-6pm) and the manager refused to feed him even though it was in his contract. He threw him a bag of chips. What an awful excuse of a human being. My son was taking swimming lessons with Rebecca who is a wonderful teacher. Unfortunately there were many times we felt unwelcome do to the general managers rude comments. He was beyond rude and elitist. We felt unwelcome every single time we came to visit. I don't want to go into details, but it is sad how bad our experience was.

They are kind, always aware of what their students are doing & always use the kindest and most appropriate voices! They get kids! They even deal well with less than appropriately behaving parents!!!! Britteny, the Aquatics Coordinator, is phenomenal and ALWAYS present! She is a calm voice in a sea of rambunctious kiddos & parents! I am sure her professionalism is why all the young coaches are so remarkable! The Lifeguards are all very sweet and helpful too! I always feel safe leaving my young child at pool side! The facilities are great! The pools are always warm (particularly in the winter), the dressing areas always attended to & clean! The pool maintenance guy is always there! The parking is a little rough, but not within anyone's control, just get there early! So very happy with everyone at the pool!

I had never been to this park before my business, Picnic Potential LLC , was hired to set up a Mothers Day brunch and it is a great location. The picnic area is nicely shaded, plenty of garbages and it is clean! The people in the park were friendly families they have nice clean bathrooms and a cute playground. I will definitely be referring this location to my picnic clients.
