The bar forgot to make some shots we ordered but it was no problem taking them off the tab at the end of the night, if we really wanted the shots we probably could have reminded the staff but we were more focused on the game. One small piece of feedback was that there were 2 games going on an 5/6 screens were 1 of the games. We asked if the one near us could be changed to the other game and got conflicting information from two staff if they could do it. I had tried taking a photo booth picture with my friend and on our last photo a drunk man had fallen onto us ruining the photo completely by it picturing only a black curtain. I appreciated a security guard calling a manager over immediately, but we were not assisted properly. The manager had came over to us in a defensive manner. He approached us by asking what's going on. We explained the situation and were told he cannot do anything for us. I was wanting any form of compensation for wasting my money on a photo booth in their bar. He continued to tell us that he doesn't own this photo booth machine, so he can't do anything for us. Yet, he can have his bouncers allow a man, who is clearly blacked out, into their bar. Then proceed to let that man roam around the bar as if he didn't just fall onto us. I brought up this point to the manger and he told me I was disrespecting him. We did not receive any form compensation nor an apology. I don't care what type of setting we were in, a manager needs to have some sort of customer service skills. Very clear management did not care about our safety.

The only thing was that table were messy and there are no trash cans. The tables were littered with bottles, glasses, and pizza boxes. We had to move aside pizza boxes and bottles to get a table. The staff didn't bother coming by to clear up the table at any point through the night which was really weird. The parking lot is pretty big but then again at night only the bar and liquor store are open in that shopping center.

Day drinking in Brea,California…read more.. We originally wanted to visit Shady Nook for an hour of karaoke, but we ended up just chatting, having soft drinks, and munching on complimentary popcorn! We didn't want to disturb the other customers with our singing... haha! We could have played pinball or billiards, but we just wanted to hang out together and enjoy the calm, air-conditioned environment at opening time. We didn't have a reservation. We were the first customers of the day. Diane was our friendly server/bartender. She was cheerful and made us feel welcomed. I admired her for opening up the shop, taking our orders, paying attention to each patron, serving everyone, and cleaning up after us! She's amazing!
