Little pricey in my opinion. The grapefruit slush was great! Perfectly sweetened and the taste of green tea was very prominent. The brown sugar boba was honestly just milk to be honest.

If Machi Machi were anywhere else in Flushing, it would be harder to stand out given the endless drink shops around the neighborhood. But because they're in Tangram (#1) where bubble tea shops are a bit more sparse, it becomes a no brainer to grab a drink here when walking around the place. I've found that each time I'm shopping around here, I'll eventually end up at Machi Machi. Like many places, they have a self-ordering touch screen with a variety of fruit based drinks, milk tea, and seasonal series. I don't see folks behind the counter often and thus the service is sometimes non-existent. In fact, had it not been for the Yelp app, I wouldn't have noticed this spot at all. There is some limited seating on the side and a nice IG-worthy "I love you so machi" illuminated wall sign. Most of the milk teas come in a standard plastic cup with a seal, but any of the panna cotta series will come in a cute bottle with a metal screw-on cap. It's fancy packaging and a cute gimmick that is clearly working for them. I think the black milk tea is very average, but the Shizuoka matcha milk tea with creme brulee is particularly good choice. The strawberry latte with panna cotta is nice during the summer time, as is any of their fruit smoothies with cheese foam. Drinks are going to be in the 8-$10 range, which is unfortunately where NYC is on drink-flation. They close a little earlier than other businesses in the mall, which is around 8pm on most days. It's not destination worthy milk tea in my opinion, but it's a solid option for days where venturing out beyond Tangram's doors isn't likely. ___________ (#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz/tangram-flushing

A complete 180° experience from their Manhattan location. I'm sure they answered most of us Queensites' (myself included) prayers when they opened this location and it has been a blessing. Despite peak times, I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a drink (compared to the 1.5 hours in K-Town, which was a low moment where I had compromised my principles). I usually just make a pick-up order and amazingly, it is always ready on time. I've yet had a drink that I didn't like--all of them have been done to my liking and IMO, their no-sweetness is much better than any additional sugar. I really wish that they offered the drinks in a cup rather than the bottles that you can reuse/repurpose for only so many things but I'm sure that wouldn't be as profitable. The bottled drinks are probably some of the priciest drinks that I've ever had (high $8-$10 range), and for such a smaller quantity than average. There are only about 3-4 other specialty drink shops in the Tangram Mall, so if you're a visitor from out of the area, you really have to pick your poison...or space them out!

I had a really great experience trying this unique drink at Machi Machi in Flushing. First of all, their bottle-style drink cups are so cute and something I brought home so I can reuse. I ordered the Shizuoka Matcha Milk Tea with Panna Cotta and I really enjoyed it. the matcha is very good quality and has great flavor, and the Panna Cotta (first time trying for me) definitely added a unique texture to the drink that I've never had before, but I really liked it. It tasted like I had a small sweet custard inside my drink. This location is in the Tangram Mall in Flushing so there's seating nearby in the mall/food court. The drink is definitely not the cheapest (~$9), which is the main reason I won't give five stars, but it was a great experience nonetheless and glad I got to try. Will be back!

I usually visit this Machi Machi once in a while when I'm at Tangram. Compared to their Ktown location, the lines are much shorter here. Copied from the ktown Machi Machi review: I typically get their panna cotta. I've tried both the Matcha Panna Cotta and the Strawberry Latte Panna Cotta. Honestly, I wasn't a fan of the Matcha Panna Cotta; it was quite bitter and lacked the rich quality I was expecting. I wouldn't get it again. However, I do recommend the Strawberry Latte Panna Cotta. Although it's a bit grainy with seeds (which I don't mind!), the strawberry flavor is pleasant and I'm a huge fan of the panna cotta part at the bottom! Overall, I'd say Machi Machi is more about the aesthetic than high-quality boba. The drinks are pricey and, in my opinion, not really worth it for the taste. The beverages are average, but what you're really paying for is the unique bottle and the Instagram-worthy presentation. 3.5, rounded to a 4. P.S.: Visit sometime during the holiday season and they add a cute hat to your bottle :)

Love machi machi. It's my first time trying in the flushing location. It located in the lower level. We tried the : strawberry latte w Panna cotta Mango cream smoothie w/ jelly pearl and grapefruit jelly It was really good. Total was $19.50 which is pretty pricey but would definitely get it again.

*Strawberry Latte w/ Panna Cotta I love this Strawberry Milk so Machi! The sugar level was fixed but the strawberry milk was naturally sweet and without any artificial flavors. At the bottom it was loaded with panna cotta, which really hit my personal sweet spot. The milky pudding added an interesting texture to the drink after smashing it into chunks. I was a bit freaked out when they didn't provide any milk alternatives for their drinks. If you are lactose intolerant or allergic to dairy products, be careful when you order. I struggled for awhile but still decided to gamble my stomach to try their strawberry latte bc the plastic flask was cute. luckily I didn't suffer from any lactose intolerance symptoms afterwards. Tbh it was shocking to see Machi Machi has low ratings on Yelp. That was why I hesitated whether I should still splurge on their drinks. The reviews were justifying bc the pricing is unreasonably aggressive ($9). Well, this is a celebrity-brand as it is owned by Jay Chou. Self-explanatory. *** A little tip: enjoy a discount if you spend $10 and order via Chowbus app. Worth Returning ? Yes but only if there is discount lol

I was pretty fascinated with the drinks with a layer at the bottom at Machi Machi, and decided to try the strawberry milk with panna cotta. The strawberry milk was frothy and icy. The panna cotta was an interesting experience... The drink wasn't too sweet, which was nice, but I would rather have cheese foam than panna cotta. It definitely looks cool but I don't know how well it works as a "topping" -- seems like more of a novelty than anything.

When Machi Machi was selling drinks with the miniature beanies on top, I had to show my boyfriend how cute they were on IG. And good thing I did because he ended up getting me the macha latte with panna cotta! I generally enjoy matcha lattes, but panna cotta is one of my favorite desserts, so I was excited to try the combination. The matcha was a little more on the bitter side, which I don't mind because I prefer the bittersweet flavor, but it was a little too grainy. The panna cotta was good though. Overall, the drink was okay and was a little expensive for the size, but the beanie made it worth it for me!

New bubble tea shop?  Yes please! Although I probably wouldn't call this a "shop"; it's more like a stall. Machi Machi is a tea shop chain that originated from Taiwan.  This is their second location in New York and is located inside the Tangram building in the lower level.  Interestingly enough, there are two other bubble tea business inside this building I guess in Flushing, there's enough of a bubble tea demand to warrant this??  I ordered a Black Milk Tea with Creme Brulee and Tapioca. At almost ten bucks for my drink, prices are higher here than other bubble tea shops. The drink was delicious. Delicate and fresh tasting. The creme brulee had a smooth texture, slight sweet taste and went well with the black tea. Is it worth the hype?  Eh...I'm still undecided.

Novelty drink that was overpriced ($9 for this grapefruit green tea)--what's new? The flavor was great, and there's a layer of jelly at the bottom. But for a larger size and more drink, you could probably go elsewhere. As many others have shared, service was a little slow. Yes the drink comes in a bottle, but it's not glass so I didn't get the hype. A fun experience while it lasted, but not sure I would order again :')

This Machi Machi is the second one in NY located in Tangram mall in Flushing, Queens. I tried the one in Koreatown and liked the creme brûlée milk tea a lot so decided to give a second try of other drinks since I live in queens. I didn't get the drinks in bottle because it was way too pricey and not worth it. I ordered two drinks: the green team plum juice with boba and regular bubble milk tea with boba. Their boba is pretty big and chewy with a good amount as well. Very satisfied! The green tea with plum juice was pretty good, very refreshing and surprisingly strong taste of teA. I like it a lot compared to the regular bubble milk black tea. However, ordered two medium drinks and it was $17 in total, quite pricey for boba tea.

In case you're wondering what happened to Molly Tea:…read more Here's the Real Tea (per Google): The "Molly Tea scandal" is an international franchise dispute involving the Shenzhen-based parent company of the trendy Chinese tea chain and its US franchise operators. A court injunction barred the US operators from using the brand's trademarks, forcing a viral rebrand to "? Tea" in New York. Headquarters' Allegations: According to court documents, the corporate office revoked the operators' trademark rights after claiming: - Unauthorized Expansions: The US operator opened a Los Angeles location without prior corporate approval. - Unapproved Ingredients: The franchise was sourcing ingredients independently, violating strict corporate quality and recipe standards. - Hiding Profits: Headquarters accused the operators of voiding their contract by allegedly hiding store revenues and bypassing royalty payments. The Franchisee's Perspective: The US operators disputed the claims. Before the courts stepped in, franchisees alleged that corporate HQ had attempted to aggressively renegotiate the ownership equity, attempting to slash the operator's share from 80% to 30% after the US locations proved highly lucrative. Current Status & Rebranding: Due to the legal injunction, the affected stores were forced to scrub the name "Molly Tea" from their storefronts, uniforms, and delivery apps. The operator complied by covering up the logos and using hand-drawn question marks on cups, quickly earning the nickname "? Tea" among fans.
