Tried the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea with Oat Milk. The tea wasn't very fragrant. Tasted a bit bland in my opinion. Since this location is in Flushing, there are just a lot more competitive shops around that I would probably go to instead since I enjoy heavier tea flavor for my milk teas or getting a fruit tea/smoothie. It was cute inside and looked like there was a upstairs area. When we went they were doing a collaboration with Honor of Kings too which I though was pretty neat to see. Yes! Another bubble tea shop has landed on Prince Street in Downtown Flushing. The sad news is that it replaced one of my favorite dessert shops Keep Ur Life Unique (KULU), but the good news is that it is pretty good and unique. My friends ordered their signature drink which is the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea. It's a good balance of tea and floral flavor. And I ordered a Jasmine Green Milk Tea which is tasty as well! Many of the customers ordered the Signature Trio Set which includes those two drinks as well as a Signature Milk Black Tea in a mini size. Reasonable pricing and lots of seats upstairs. I'm on a journey to find a new tea place to replace my beloved Molly Tea. After trying the ?Tea, it is clear that the ingredients are no longer the same, so my first stop is ChaHalo. The tea shop has 2 kiosks for self-ordering and there is seating on the second floor. I ordered the Jasmine Green Milk Tea and the Dancong Oolong Milk Tea. Unfortunately the Jasmine Green Milk Tea is too milk forward and not enough tea flavor. The Dancong is decent, and I wouldn't mind ordering it for the time being. I like that it's non-dairy. Newer tea spot that opened in Flushing, they have a big menu with a variety of drink options. They also have a points system where you can redeem them for little trinkets or plushies they have. The wait can definitely get long on weekends. You might be waiting around 20 minutes for your drink. The workers are nice and efficient with everyone's orders. But ordering was very simple and fast since there was a machine to order at the front of the store. But if you had question, they also take orders in person at the counter. Newly opened bubble tea spot on Prince St (they took over Kulu Desserts). They were pretty busy (one week into opening), plus they were running holiday promos. It took about 20 mins for my drinks to be ready. They have a second floor for seating. You can order at one of the two kiosks or with the cashier. They have an order progress/ready screen so you can wait a bit further away. I tried three drinks, first two were light ice and extra light sugar, the third one was no ice and light sugar: -Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea: Best of the three. Great florally Osmanthus flavor. I like the option of extra light sugar, as the tea can really stand out. -Dark Milk Tea: either a little too milky or the tea is just mild in flavor, since the milk flavor overpowered the tea. It is pretty good milk though. I'm not sure what kind of tea it is, but I believe it's Poria as that is the first Chinese character. The rest of the drink's name basically translates to "Half a day of leisure", so it seems like a pun on Poria and their name/slogan (which is roughly translates to taking a leisure break)! -Orchid Scented Green Tea: scented is the right word for this drink. It is pretty light in flavor. Nothing thrilling, maybe I'll try the Jasmine Green Tea next time for a non milk option. Overall, a decent spot to hit, especially since there's seating. Will have to come back to see how consistent they are, and to try their other drinks. The lines will probably die down, but be prepared for the wait if you're trying this place any time soon. read more

Ordered through Hungry Panda and took an hour to get to forest hills location. Brown sugar bubble tea- 4/5- got 30% sugar and I still feel like it's a bit too sweet. Impressed by their boba, was not overcooked or undercooked which I liked. Brown sugar was sweet even with 30%. Next time I'll try it with no sugar. Overall- the tea is good and boba was al dente. Not bad for another great spot in flushing. Would go to the store or try their other items as well! read more

I believe that if you're in flushing, you must have at least one bubble tea before you leave and this day I decided would be the day that I tried Chahalo. Not only has my sister recommended this place to me but as I was walking around I kept seeing people holding this logo which felt like a sign. This did not disappoint at all. This bubble tea place does have a more limited selection but the Osmanthus Oolong Tea that we ordered to try was so fragrant and delicious. We did order it with 30% sugar and it was still just a little too sweet for me but I wasn't complaining because it was super refreshing and floral without having any hint of bitterness. I will absolutely be back and try a couple more of their bubble tea flavors the next time I am in flushing! read more

December 13, 2025 is when the latest tea place opened on Prince St in Flushing. Chahalo started as a small tea house in Xi'an. Loved that they used healthy natural ingredients. I went at night so it was a little bit difficult to find the place since the lower sign is tilted to face downward though if you aren't looking up you wouldn't find it. Also a tree is right in front of the store, so you can miss that. Decides on: Osmanthus Oolong Tea - This one was flavorful. Jasmine Green Milk Tea - This one has a strong Jasmine tea flavor. First time trying this brand. Side note, why is there soo many different boba tea shops on this one single street? Crazy. I tried the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea ($6.50) and the Chahalo Black Milk Tea Frappe ($7.50), both large. They were both alright, but not too impressed with them. I have to say the interior design is pretty nice and there's a pretty spacious seating on the 2nd floor. read more

I got the orchid jasmine tea for $6, which is a good deal in Flushing. The tea itself was decent, but one downside is that you can't add toppings. Also, the ordering system uses a kiosk, so it would really help if the cashier spoke English to assist customers when needed. read more

Got the sampler trio to try out their signature teas and went upstairs to sit down to enjoy them. It came with the osmanthus, black, and jasmine milk tea. We didn't really enjoy the black and osmanthus tea, however, I would say the jasmine is comparable to molly tea across the street but a bit more sweet. Another bubble tea place added to prince st. Lines were crazy in the opening days but has died down now. If you love strong milk tea flavors this is the place for you! I have not tried their boba but so far 2/2 drinks were a hit. I got the orchid milk tea and the black rock milk tea. The orchid milk tea has a wonderful floral aroma and the dark milk tea has a slight saltiness to it, but don't let that scare you, it brings out the milk tea flavors so well! I opt for the minimal sugar option as I don't like my drinks too sweet, I found the less sugar option a bit too sweet for my liking. The tea is good but underwhelming. The osmanthus flavor is strong, but the oolong flavor was overpowered by it. Similar issue with the lychee drink, but still good.
