Newer tea spot that opened in Flushing, they have a big menu with a variety of drink options. They also have a points system where you can redeem them for little trinkets or plushies they have. The wait can definitely get long on weekends. You might be waiting around 20 minutes for your drink. The workers are nice and efficient with everyone's orders. Usually always a lively crowded environment.

I picked this boba place since i havent tired it yet. When I went in, there were not that many people in the store. But it looks like they had a lot of mobile orders. But ordering was very simple and fast since there was a machine to order at the front of the store. But if you had question, they also take orders in person at the counter. I got Chahalo Black Milk Tea Frappe and Jasmine Green Milk Tea. I felt that it was good. I might need to go back to see if there is a signature drink that I would go there for.

Newly opened bubble tea spot on Prince St (they took over Kulu Desserts). They were pretty busy (one week into opening), plus they were running holiday promos. It took about 20 mins for my drinks to be ready. They have a second floor for seating. You can order at one of the two kiosks or with the cashier. They have an order progress/ready screen so you can wait a bit further away. I tried three drinks, first two were light ice and extra light sugar, the third one was no ice and light sugar: -Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea: Best of the three. Great florally Osmanthus flavor. I like the option of extra light sugar, as the tea can really stand out. -Dark Milk Tea: either a little too milky or the tea is just mild in flavor, since the milk flavor overpowered the tea. It is pretty good milk though. I'm not sure what kind of tea it is, but I believe it's Poria as that is the first Chinese character. The rest of the drink's name basically translates to "Half a day of leisure", so it seems like a pun on Poria and their name/slogan (which is roughly translates to taking a leisure break)! -Orchid Scented Green Tea: scented is the right word for this drink. It is pretty light in flavor. Nothing thrilling, maybe I'll try the Jasmine Green Tea next time for a non milk option. Overall, a decent spot to hit, especially since there's seating. Will have to come back to see how consistent they are, and to try their other drinks. The lines will probably die down, but be prepared for the wait if you're trying this place any time soon.

I believe that if you're in flushing, you must have at least one bubble tea before you leave and this day I decided would be the day that I tried Chahalo. Not only has my sister recommended this place to me but as I was walking around I kept seeing people holding this logo which felt like a sign. This did not disappoint at all. This bubble tea place does have a more limited selection but the Osmanthus Oolong Tea that we ordered to try was so fragrant and delicious. We did order it with 30% sugar and it was still just a little too sweet for me but I wasn't complaining because it was super refreshing and floral without having any hint of bitterness. I will absolutely be back and try a couple more of their bubble tea flavors the next time I am in flushing!

December 13, 2025 is when the latest tea place opened on Prince St in Flushing. Chahalo started as a small tea house in Xi'an. Loved that they used healthy natural ingredients. I went at night so it was a little bit difficult to find the place since the lower sign is tilted to face downward though if you aren't looking up you wouldn't find it. Also a tree is right in front of the store, so you can miss that. Decides on: Osmanthus Oolong Tea - This one was flavorful. Jasmine Green Milk Tea - This one has a strong Jasmine tea flavor. Liked that there wasn't any artificial flavors. Have to try the other flavors. Go give them a try.

I got the orchid jasmine tea for $6, which is a good deal in Flushing. The tea itself was decent, but one downside is that you can't add toppings. Also, the ordering system uses a kiosk, so it would really help if the cashier spoke English to assist customers when needed.

Got the sampler trio to try out their signature teas and went upstairs to sit down to enjoy them. It came with the osmanthus, black, and jasmine milk tea. We didn't really enjoy the black and osmanthus tea, however, I would say the jasmine is comparable to molly tea across the street but a bit more sweet. I would come back for the jasmine tea if i'm craving it!

It's rough because there are SO many tea shops on this block, not to mention in Flushing in general. While I can't quite say I. can discern the unique factor in ChaHaLo, it's a decent milk tea spot that has a really nice upstairs area for dining-in and hanging out.

Tried the jasmine milk tea here to compare to Molly Tea's version and I actually liked ChaHalo's better! If you like tea forward drinks, this is the place! The jasmine milk tea was fragrant, and the recommended version 70% sweet was a good choice. 50 cent difference between medium and large too ! Service was quick and friendly! The space was larger than expected. and didn't feel stuffy like the spots around here. Would come back here to try more tea drinks (:

I just found my new favorite. They just launch a new drink. Meet the Rock Oolong Milk Tea with Fermented Rice - fragrant osmanthus, smooth oolong tea, and real fermented rice (sweet rice brew) for a naturally sweet, refreshing sip with a lightly chewy texture. It's layered, balanced, and seriously interesting. My next favorite? The Lychee-Flavored Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea -floral, juicy, and super refreshing. The tea is good but underwhelming. The osmanthus flavor is strong, but the oolong flavor was overpowered by it. Similar issue with the lychee drink, but still good. I just prefer a stronger tea taste. They have the 3-holed straws, which is a plus. I just think that with the entire street being similar tea shops, it makes the drinks a little average. Drinks came out fast, and the ordering is on kiosk.

I visited Chahalo for the first time recently. I went later in the evening, so there was no line to order, but I still waited about 15-20 minutes to receive my drink. I ordered their signature drink, the Chahalo Black Milk Tea Frappe, and it was really good. It came topped with whipped cream and crushed nuts (maybe pecans) that added a perfect sweet-and-savory crunch. They even give you a tiny spoon to enjoy the cream on top, which made it extra fun and delicious. Overall, a solid first visit, and I'd definitely come back to try other drinks.

In case you're wondering what happened to Molly Tea:…read more Here's the Real Tea (per Google): The "Molly Tea scandal" is an international franchise dispute involving the Shenzhen-based parent company of the trendy Chinese tea chain and its US franchise operators. A court injunction barred the US operators from using the brand's trademarks, forcing a viral rebrand to "? Tea" in New York. Headquarters' Allegations: According to court documents, the corporate office revoked the operators' trademark rights after claiming: - Unauthorized Expansions: The US operator opened a Los Angeles location without prior corporate approval. - Unapproved Ingredients: The franchise was sourcing ingredients independently, violating strict corporate quality and recipe standards. - Hiding Profits: Headquarters accused the operators of voiding their contract by allegedly hiding store revenues and bypassing royalty payments. The Franchisee's Perspective: The US operators disputed the claims. Before the courts stepped in, franchisees alleged that corporate HQ had attempted to aggressively renegotiate the ownership equity, attempting to slash the operator's share from 80% to 30% after the US locations proved highly lucrative. Current Status & Rebranding: Due to the legal injunction, the affected stores were forced to scrub the name "Molly Tea" from their storefronts, uniforms, and delivery apps. The operator complied by covering up the logos and using hand-drawn question marks on cups, quickly earning the nickname "? Tea" among fans.
