EXCELLENT- We visited Daytona Beach for just a few days for a gymnastics competition but we knew that seafood was on the menu for sure. We Yelped places in the area we were staying and this place had amazing reviews. We decided this would be our spot to eat as soon as we made it in town. Oh my goodness - and I'm so glad we did!! This is a very small place with limited seating because it's the kind of place you order and take with you. This was fresh seafood....any and all you can think of. We ordered the #16, #18 and #19 steamed seafood combos and it was soooo freaking delicious! Some of the BESD seafood I've tasted and they season if to perfection. Looks like a hole in the wall, but don't let that put you off. My family and I walked in and had no idea how to order. After explaining how unfamiliar we are with ordering bulk seafood, the gentleman running the register was very helpful! For 80 dollars, my family of my 3 brothers, my Dad, and I (the only girl) ordered nothing but shrimp and snow crab. It was amazing! We're coming back for lunch tomorrow before we leave the area. We visit the Ormond Beach twice a year for years, but we hadn't ever ordered from here. This will be a frequent spot of ours now. One thing to note is there really isn't a great spot to eat on location, so your order has to be take away. Fortunately we're staying close and had plenty of beer and paper towels at home! I won't detract a star for the lack of eating space since this really isn't a sit-down place, but if you're expecting a sit-down place, keep that in mind. Also one thing I wanted to mention was that even on the body end of the snow crab clusters whereas most times the meat tastes very sour or brackish and is often disappointing, Macker's snow crab was not at all like that. That body meat tasted just as good as the rest of the leg meat, which I've never had happen before. Great quality and what a bang for your buck. read more

This was the best seafood bake I have ever had in my life and I am currently stressing out about how I will ever survive without it. I'm all the way in Ohio and had this amazing taste sensation while on vacation. I ordered over the phone and made up my own meal: two snow crab clusters, 12 medium shrimp, and as a pot. When I came to pick up, the young lady who helped me was extremely helpful, offering me extra sauces and utensils and napkins. She also asked if I wanted more seasoning, of course I did. (Typically, I feel the seasoning doesn't penetrate in the bakes). I could barely make it back to the hotel without pulling over and eating the whole meal myself. From the first bite, it was love. The crabs were meaty, the shrimp was juicy, the sausage was snappy, the corn was sweet, the potatoes were the perfect texture, and everything was seasoned immaculately! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed and I will be back to Daytona JUST to dine here again. read more

Was in town for a conference and saw this place on Yelp. We went about 30 min before close so they were out of Blue Crab. They get it in every day so go early if you want blue crab. They only steam so no fried or grilled. I got a scallop and Royal Red shrimp combo. The most perfectly steamed seafood I ever had. Delicious and succulent. A little heavy on the Old Bay but just simply delicious! They are take out only so we went back to the hotel to get our grub on. I will come back next time I'm in Daytona. read more

This may be the best seafood dinner I've ever had! We each had the #17 and ate every bite, even though it was a very generous portion. Crab legs, shrimp, sausage (best I've ever had in a shrimp boil way), corn on the cob, and potatoes, were all great in their magic butter/garlic/seasoning mix. Ok My sister & I are from La. & we can say good seafood. We ordered blue crabs & .shrimp & we truly enjoyed them. Now we normally eat our crabs room temp or cold that way the fat hardens up on the crab. But the seasoning on the crab & shrimp was perfect....Flavor was great. Not spicy, but just right. Because we like to taste our food & not have our lips burning because of the season. Waiter was awesome, took excellent care of us. Now you do have to wait a little bit for your food because it is prepared fresh but it is worth the wait. We will be back for some more. Bon appetit !!!! read more

There's a menu with a great selection to choose from to be seasoned and steamed. We highly recommend this place!!! We got a steam pot: Enough for 2 and a couple of dozen oysters. Seasoned deliciously and more than plenty. The oysters have to be slightly steamed and not sold raw on the half shell. Let us assure you they are as good as raw. Perfect for a night of fresh hot seafood at our condo without getting dressed up and going to a restaurant. Well worth the few minutes of waiting for the food to steam!!! read more

This is THE place folks. This is THE place. We liked it so much we went twice in 3 days, and we don't live anywhere near here. The food is simply phenomenal. I mean out of this world. The prices are TOO low, also. I hope this doesn't give the owner any ideas, but seriously the prices are too low given the quality and quantity of what you get. If this same food and preparation was put into a regular sit down restaurant, it would be the most popular restaurant in Daytona (at least it should be).
