    Chicken finger

The guy at the counter was rude, the fries weren't cooked all the way and these were the "chicken fingers". Never again.

    Design

Best pizza I ever had amazing service, fast nice people. Amazing design nice seating area. They gave us the wrong food we said it's fine they wouldn't let that slide they gave us the right food fast amazing staff

Unfortunately this place was quite disappointing. I got this recommendation from my Uber driver who said he lived in the neighborhood. Despite the reviews here being variable I decided to trust the recommendation... We got the bbq chicken pizza that was quite questionable and very plane - it was just cheese, chicken and bbq sauce. The chicken on the pizza was ground chicken, which I've never seen before and there were no onions or bell peppers. The crust also lacked flavor. One positive is that they do stay late open but I likely will not be coming back.

    Goodfella pizza was so good

The goodfella so good. Can't wait to order it again. Love it here the music is great late at night.

There are several rooms to this restaurant, and it is actually located underneath a bowling alley. Talk about a hidden gem, literally! We enjoyed the live entertainment. The performer was fantastic! There was a small dance floor in front of him, and rumor has it the patrons often jump up and cut the rug. I even got a birthday serenade, table-side. So cool! If a menu offers Pasta and Crab, then you can bet your hiney I am ordering it. This place DID IT UP. Huge chunks of real crab. More crab than any other restaurant in South Jersey (really, more than any other restaurant in the entire state of New Jersey...I order this dish everywhere). The red gravy was balanced (more tart than sweet, which is what I prefer). The house salad that arrived ahead of the entrees was delicious. Creamy yet light dressing, if that even makes sense. Our party of 7 raved about everything we ordered. The garlic bread was even insanely delicious. There are so many restaurants in the area, but THIS is one we will return to time and time again. We were in the area one week later and ordered some pasta and crab to-go. It traveled back to Voorhees beautifully. Thanks for making my celebration so special, Alfe's!

I had the grill grouper one of 5 fishes of the day (on a Tuesday..not a good sign) fish had zero flavor and tasted like it was purchased on Friday. Guess the chef was trying to get one more day- server sounded surprised and said all of our fish comes in fresh everyday...(she did remove from the check) Anyway got a side order of cheese ravioli not hot and the sauce did have a slightly burnt taste as well. Sure wildwood in the summer- dining can be a crap shoot- guess I should have tried roulette...

I loved the red décor and photos all around of Joey P. and customers / celebrities that have dined there. Our friends valeted but we parked a street up. The pay by app made it very easy and I actually already had it downloaded. Since tomorrow will be my splurge day, tonight was just a Caesar salad with added shrimp. THIS SALAD WAS HUGE and had a plentiful amount of shrimp in it for sure! I ate almost the whole thing! It, along with the pastina soup, was well enough for me! All others had pasta and / or chicken dishes; huge portions! Everyone loved what they ordered : ) We were literally entertained the whole time by a really good duo - JUST IN TIME ~ a married couple named Joanne and Stu. They played music genres ranging from 50s - on. Joanne even sang Karen Carpenter, who is hard to sing. She did her proud! Great entertainment that even welcomed diners to come up and belt out a few! Many were dancing / line dancing! So fun! Our server, Trisha, was peppy and attentive. She handled a very crowded restaurant beautifully. We weren't rushed at all - our evening was an experience more than just a meal. Im stupefied at the under four star reviews - truly.

However, it was not much better inside. It was quite warm. They started us with some bread and garlic infused oil. The bread was soft and the oil was very good and flavorful. We ordered the 'Bruschetta' which was VERY definitely my highlight. I wish it had more cheese on it, but the tomatoes were super fresh and the balsamic was delicious. For our entrees, my husband got the 'Diavolo' pizza which was homemade tomato sauce, hot soppressata, homemade mozzarella, chopped garlic, oregano & parmesan cheese. He loved it. He said the bread was soft and it was super cheesy. I did not try it, nor did I order pizza because I just had some a few days ago. I ordered the 'Three Mushroom Pasta' which was shiitaki, cremini & portobello mushrooms sautéed with garlic butter & marsala wine sauce topped with parmesan cheese served over pappardelle pasta. The mushrooms were delicious. However, the pasta itself was rather bland. I will say the portion was BIG and I definitely had left overs. The staff was quick and friendly. I probably would not come back again but it was nice to try, and I'm sure the pizza was better than boardwalk pizza. I would give this a 3.5, but since I can't do halfs.. 3 it is.

Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. The atmosphere and waitstaff were still excellent and were easily the highlights of the evening, but the food was extremely disappointing. Two of us ordered lobster tail with our entrées, and both were severely overcooked to the point of having a paste-like texture and being inedible. The accompanying white sauce was bland and flavorless. A steak ordered medium-well arrived rare. Given how exceptional our first experience was, we were surprised by the dramatic difference in the quality and preparation of the food. We had expected another wonderful meal and instead left very disappointed. Regrettably, based on this experience, we will not be returning.
