The food isn't the best on the island, but it's certainly nowhere near the worst. Pizza is okay, crust is good, usually not too greasy. White broccoli pizza is good. Pepperoni rolls are great, get them with marinara. Prices are on par with the island, a little cheaper than some boardwalk places. It does get packed after midnight, especially 2-4am when bars are closing. Not too busy during dinner time. I've never ordered delivery, so I can't speak on that. read more

The best pizza of the three i had that night. Romeo's reminds me of that classic NY pepperoni slice that's packed with cheese, flavor, oil, and an amazing crust that holds everything together. I got a full pie well done, so it was made good and fresh. Restaurant has that classic old school pizza restaurant look with all the Italian hero portraits plastered on the wall. Unfortunately this place was quite disappointing. I got this recommendation from my Uber driver who said he lived in the neighborhood. Despite the reviews here being variable I decided to trust the recommendation... We got the bbq chicken pizza that was quite questionable and very plane - it was just cheese, chicken and bbq sauce. The chicken on the pizza was ground chicken, which I've never seen before and there were no onions or bell peppers. The crust also lacked flavor. I came to Romeo's earlier Sunday morning being there open till 5am. I'm a 19 year old kid, I grew up in an amazing pizza restaurant by far the best on the town. I came with my friends and sign says cash only which I don't carry . My friend has cash all day so I asked for him to pay and he said yes. I order and get 2 slices of a fresh pizza from the counter I tell my friends to order and take my pizza to eat. I take a bite and my friend says he forgot his wallet and the women immediately gets slightly aggressive say "I told you it was cash only" about 3 or 4 times. I explained to her the situation and apologizes and say I can do a Zelle payment and asked why she is being nasty towards me. She looked like a cartoon with steam coming from her ears. She continued to raise her voice and then tells her co worker (great man btw) to get my Zelle. As I'm getting his Zelle information some old guy I assume to be the owner tells me to " get the money or die" !! I'm shocked i asked if i heard what I thought I did and he confirmed. I paid co worker passes some Parmesan and I left. Pizza is terrible. Service is terrible. That comment from the owner was terrible. If you can't deal with working night shift find a new job and go to sleep. Jersey needs to stay out the pizza business. read more

Great Place! Very good pizza. Well-done crust and great thin dough. Had a Margherita and some other basic slices. Open late and extremely friendly peeps. Shore businesses get slammed and have very long times to wait during busy nights thats just the way it goes. Too bad for the yelp! Community they don't apparently understand how tough it is for seasonal businesses, many rely on seasonal labor to keep it running smoothly. As far as their pizzas, solid! Worth the wait. A line that moved fast, but it was okay because i enjoyed looking at all of the celebrities on the wall. I had the magarita slice, and i loved it. at first i was iffy because the gravy tasted sweet, but the fresh basil and the cheese were a perfect pair. the slice wasnt too thin or thick, i truly liked the slice and would be back in a heart beat to try more. the slices in the window looked very edible, unlike the majority of the pizza places in wildwood. Wow I really hate giving places bad reviews but this place really deserves it. First you can't pay with a card witch is okay because most places down the shore you can't. Talking to a worker on the phone was almost exhausting since he has no emotion and kept telling me they were out of everything I was pretty much asking for. Should of cancelled my order then and there but it's the only late night joint open. I ordered here twice and was deeply disappointed, the first time the order was, stuffed shells, cheese fries and old bay fries. Now come on how can you mess up fries. The fires look like potato stick chips, small and skinny there was a glob of cold cheese on the top and a sprinkle of old bay on the other. The stuffed shells were cold and undercooked. The sauce was watery and not good. The second time my friends and I ordered we ordered a pizza and mozzarella sticks. The pizza was oily and once again COLD, the mozzarella sticks were cold and brownish grey, not golden. I took once bite of each and stopped eating. Mega fries? More like MINI fries! And HORRIBLE customer service. Sent about a dollar's worth of fries with barely any cheese and hardly cooked bacon and have the nerve to charge $9. Asked for well done fries... they were undercooked, tasted still raw and were limp and gross. Called as soon as they were delivered and the girl asked me what do I want her to do about it? (with attitude) Since she didn't have any idea what their policy is, I suggested send your driver back here to pick these up and give me my money back. Her: I dont know where the driver is. Me: Call him? Her: Ok, I will send him out for them and to give your money back. 45 minutes later, after we have eaten dinner, I call to see where this driver is and she puts me on hold for a long time then comes back on and tells me that wait, no, they can't refund my money but will bring me new fries. Well, who wants new fries now when everyone has already eaten??? Where was that when I called immediately after delivery when it would have made sense to have new fries with dinner??? Now they are keeping me on hold forever. I guess hoping I will go away. Oh well, I have time... Just got "disconnected" again, hmmm. Called back and they tell me new fries are on the way and they are not refunding the money. Also, delivery driver didn't bother to wear a mask when bringing our food to the door either time (even though I mentioned that he didn't have one after the first time) so apparently they aren't too concerned about the NJ mandated covid rules they are supposed to follow. read more
