The best pizza on the Wildwood boardwalk!!! Mack's has a thin crust with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The crust is crisp with lots of brown edges. The sauce has a slight sweetness. The cheese mix melts just enough to be gooey. The pizza is always hot right out of the oven. There are two locations. The Wildwood Ave location is only open on weekends due to Corona virus. On the weekends, there is only take away at this location. The Roberts Ave location is open every day for both take away and sit down. The seating area is on the back patio . Tables are 6 feet apart and wiped down with disinfectant spray between customers. Condiments are in small individuals packets. Masks must be worn inside to use the restrooms. The service is friendly like being in a neighborhood place. Several staff thanked us coming in. It's always a good experience here! read more

Well I ended up getting a cold slice pie that they added rabbit turds (sausage) and luke warm pepperoni to it. Came here for lunch with a large group. We were able to sit outside so that was nice. Not a huge back patio but they weren't super busy so we were seated right away. Our server was really nice and very fast! We ordered two pies. One plain and one half pepperoni. There pies aren't cheap but they are huge. One slice is giant! I thought I would only eat one piece but the pizza was so good, I split another piece with my daughter. Delish! My only complaint is that the sodas are small. They only cost 2 dollars but there are no refills and you could easily drink 3 of them. I wound up getting a lemonade on the boardwalk afterwards because I was so thirsty. read more

We decided to take a day trip to the beach and this was our breakfast/lunch. It's average boardwalk pizza. I've been told the better location is a bit further up, but pizza is pretty much pizza down here. I think the staff gave us the wrong pizza, with one of the flavors we were thinking about ordering, but was happy with it regardless. The cashier kind of thought they made a mistake, but the person grabbing the slices was 100% sure that they didn't. Incredibly confident. We couldn't eat inside yet, or there was a place, but it was confusing to get to and they said we would need to have a waiter. I didn't want to dine there anyway. We have been eating slices and buying pizza from this place for over 60 years, O those Wildwood days. Ambiance has not changed for it seems like that kind also, I wonder just how old Mr. Mack is by now. So on my most recent trip on Monday, 8/14/23 purchased 2 plain slices and a drink with my grandson sitting at the counter in the afternoon. The slices were hot and very good paid the bill and left a tip on the counter. Here is the problem my grandson ordered another slice paid for it with a five dollar bill and never received any change? Now did the counter girl forget what she was doing? Or did she know what she was doing. Plain slices are three dollars according the the mine board. Mack's is a Wildwood boardwalk institution! Whenever we're in Wildwood--at Hub's instigation--we make a stop at Mack's for a slice. Last Saturday morning we detoured through Wildwood on our way to Atlantic City. Once we found out Mack's was open for the season we had no choice but to stop in for a slice and a soda. Never in my life have restaurant workers been so rude. When going to complain about a small inconvenience and asking for service to be improved, a 30+ year old grown man confronted a 17 year old girl in her face in front of the store blaming it on her. The issue was over a pizza, no big deal at all, easy fix, and every single worker was rude with death stares except for the main woman manager who didn't handle the situation that's her responsibility and had her rude coworkers give evil looks, slam the pizza on the counter, and have rude exchanges throughout. Was back there over Memorial Day Weekend for the first time in quite a few years. The pizza is unchanged. It's the same pizza I was loving as a kid; now I'm 56 and still loving it. First time at Mack's location at 4200 Boardwalk, usually would go to Mancos Pizza in Ocean city, Night and day difference in appearance , and hygiene between the two locations, I was just there over the Labor Day weekend 2024 on Sunday at about 4pm just sat down and grabbed a couple of slices with my family, sat at the counter right at the front. Handed the cashier the cash then He takes it, put it in the register, and then proceeds to grab a couple slices with his bare hands ,no gloves after handling my cashl .I was like OK it is what it is I guess you get what you pay for, as I'm sitting there I noticed that he continues doing the same exact thing with other people walking up from the boardwalk then at one point he decides to walk over in front of the guy making the pizza right there dips his hands into the cheese bin and starts mixing it around and proceeds to take out a pinch of mozzarella and stuff his fingers into his mouth. SERIOUSLY , Who does that, not even trying to be discreet about it? Definitely will not be coming back to this place again. my fault for assuming that it would still be the same as Mac and mancos in OC This place definitely is a hole in the wall. Came here for lunch after spending the morning at the waterpark. I had been here before, but it's been a long time. This is located right on the Wildwood boardwalk. I came here with a large group. We were led through the restaurant and seated out on the back deck (only outdoor dining allowed in NJ due to COVID). The back deck was nice. We ordered two pizzas, a plain and a pepperoni. They used to be partners with Manco & Manco pizza, so this pizza is a similar style with the swirl of sauce. However, I would say Manco & Manco pizza is better. Mack's is still great, but a little bit greasier. This place is cash only and a little overpriced but probably typical for the boardwalk. They really get you with the drinks, $2 and super tiny with no free refills. Our server was nice and the service was quick. Worth trying their pizza for sure. read more

I've been eating at Mack's for over twenty years and it is still the best pizza!! Excellent thin crust with tons of cheese and just the right amount of sauce. Food is ready in no time and always made fresh. Employees are always on top of things and we love seeing the chefs throw the dough up in the air when we come in. My only complaint about Mack's is that they do not accept credit cards. This is a major pain when vacationing, get with the times, Mack's!! Decided to try Mack's as I heard they are the same family and Manco's in Ocean City. I have to say the pizza was pretty disappointing. My parents were visiting from Vegas. The one request was pizza, they seem to think they can not find any good pizza out West. Mack's did not disappoint them so thank you! It reminded my father of NJ, how we used to come down the shore, walk the boards, and stuff our face with anything and everything. He said the crust was thin and had a nice crisp. He even liked that you could spill some of the grease off! For me, it was a little too greasy, but it did taste amazing. The sauce was very good, and it had a nice crispy bottom.
