Amazing customer service. I went in because I had a project…read morein mind. I had a money tree that needed some TLC. I didn't know what I needed and asked for help. The guys was not only knowledgeable but was also very kind to grab all the things I needed This nursery was large and filled with all types of plants you can think of. After heading home and completing my project. I was inspired to go get more things for the backyard. When I went the next day, I had a fruit plant in mind and was looking for it. When I couldn't find it myself, the staff guided me right to it and told me some pointers about treating them. The calamondin tree was the size of a small bush, had flowers already and some fruits. Price was only 69.99. I think it was a fair deal. Now I planted my fruit tree (I hope I don't kill it). It was very pleasant and will be going back there for all my green thumb needs.

Highly recommend this nursery! Everyone is not only helpful but knowledgeable. I came here to get…read moreplants to fill my back yard. Mike was able to help order everything I need and make sure it was delivered on time. The cost was well below what I would have spent having someone do it for me. The delivery drivers were amazing!!!!! So nice and made sure I knew where everything was. Every time I go into the store it is very small town vibes, so nice and ready to help. My gardens came out amazing, all the plants looked great upon delivery, and they are thriving. I will definitely be back with all my garden needs.

WOW! I thought,…read morehmm, do I want to pick out and plant a few Fruit Trees myself, or has experience shown me that someone with decades of practice and results may guide me to better decisions? From our first trip to Moon Valley Nurseries in Fillmore to pick out the Trees, Roy guided us on why certain trees, although maybe less tall, were a far better tree overall due to the health of the tree and leaves. Therefore, I chose a less tall Mandarin Fruit Tree, because I want a better fruit producer over the decades when I pick my own fruit from my own tree. Roy explained how space in the middle of the tree will allow air to flow through the tree which will allow the tree to breath better, therefore produce better. On and on... Amanda, don't tell Roy, collaborated with me on maximizing the 60% sale price combined with delivery fees and a year's maintenance contract (some goodies included) for all 3 Fruit Trees. Each one of the 3 Fruit Trees now in my yard look stunning and healthy and I am excited to see how quickly they grow and how much they produce, which Roy estimated for me on each Fruit Tree. The day of planting, Mauricio showed up with 5 men and 2 trucks and in less than an hour my 3 Fruit Trees had the holes dug out, professionally planted, fertilized, and thoroughly watered for the first time. I would be spending a good part of the day just digging out the first hole that needed to be at least 2 times the size of the tree container...for one tree, let alone 3 trees! As for all the rest they did, I would have worried about what soil amendments and fertilizers to add now versus later. All of this was done for us! After planting, Mauricio handed us a Professional Colored Brochure and explained what we need to do for the rest of the year, to keep our Fruit Trees staying healthy, growing, and producing a lot of fruit. Oh, and Moon Valley Nurseries will be coming out to my home 3 more times during this year, observing and guiding me on each Fruit Tree. We are also excited that each tree comes with a guarantee. We would not have obtained this length of guarantee on trees we simply went and picked out at a Nursery. But that is not all Mauricio did for me. I had struggled over where to place the Fruit Trees in my yard. Mauricio explained to us where he would place each tree and why if this was his yard. Now that all 3 Fruit Trees are in place, I can see exactly why Mauricio chose each spot for each tree. The one that will grow the largest has the most space available. Two other trees were placed yards apart, so they would be able to grow to their maximum height and width. But trees were also placed so I can see from one tree to the next. So grateful for the experience and cannot wait for my own orange juice! Thanks Amanda, Roy, Mauricio & Crew.

We stopped back through for a tea and honey tasting in the afternoon. I can't say enough good things about the staff at Topanga nursery. The grounds are surprising. You really have to see it because you can't judge it from the street. There are community classes and activities. Follow their IG and FB pages then go to their website to view a calendar. You can go to the Just Vibes grab a custom coffee and then walk the grounds and speak with the staff about what they offer there as far as trees and plants. They also have beehives and in their gift shop they have every variety of honey you can think of as well as lovely gift items from books to body care to jewelry to honey. It is a hidden treasure in the San Fernando Valley. It's a fun day out for families with kids and just by yourself. Go check them out!

The prices seem very reasonable too. I talked to one of the workers and he was so sweet and answered all of my questions. They were also doing an event for children which is great! Clearly very community oriented which I love. I can't wait to come back to get plants for my yard.

A whole lot more. They also sell food, seeds, roots, soil, small, medium, large pots, different styles and colors of everything. Very durable and a tad expensive for my budget. Pots for your plants are so gorgeous. They do landscaping for people who own gardens (does not apply to me) and all the work the employees put in to those plants to make their customers happy and satisfied is a huge recognition. Employees are very knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. Also caring and understanding. A friend of mine had given me an indoor plant for my birthday last year and lasted me for a whole entire year and 3 months. It took the last breath and I went to them asking for help. It was a bit late. I am more of a flower girl than owning plants. I have had plants in my younger years. I ended up buying 2 new outdoor plants to put outside of my window/door. It looks very pretty. I have also purchased a Christmas tree from their lot twice. Established in 1889. That should say a lot about this lovely, beautiful garden/nursery. Big parking lot right in front of the nursery/shop, and 2 clean bathrooms. Thank you all.
