I have nothing but compliments for Berkowitz and his entire staff. My results now six months in and counting are amazing. During my research, I found his rates are in line and actually a bit lower than other physicians in the area, but this is not the deciding factor in choosing Accents. I viewed numerous before and after photos of procedures done by Doctor Berkowitz and knew he was the doctor for me. All of my procedures were done by Doctor Berkowitz personally. During visits, staff are in attendance but Doctor Berkowitz does all the work. I can't count all of the compliments I continue to receive. Dr Raphtis is a great doctor! I have experienced very short wait times to see him. His staff is…read morevery pleasant and kind. Dr Raphtis was actually my choice for a second opinion. I was told by another doc that I had severe cataract's and needed both of them removed the next month. When I explained that I had no symptoms, he smiled rather patronizing and again insisted I needed the surgery. In the meantime I was taking my patient to see Dr Raphtis. My patient had a severe eye inflammation and after watching how well he cared for him I made an appointment for myself. As I had suspected, I do not need cataract surgery, furthermore Dr Raphtis explained that I would tell him when it was time for surgery because I would have symptoms! I was very impressed with his honesty and explanations and his willingness to listen and answer my questions. I am thankful he was my patients doctor, I am confidant that I and my patient are in good hands!
