I underestimated this place and it exceeded my expectations! The coffee and service here are amazing. What a great experience and the staff is friendly and attentive. The vibes are great and love the decor. The coffee tastes smooth and delicious, and the coffee art is perfect. I will be a regular here for sure!

We happened to go during their grand reopening, ambiance was fantastic, and the dj was top notch. Their coffees are strong and delicious. I asked for an iced latte was vanilla flavor and it was de-lious! Service was great, we even got to speak to the owner, great person :)

I am normally a Macondo fan but this last time it was a total fail. Ordered two lunch specials to go, an espresso and smoothie. The lunch order to go took a long time. They gave the coffee and smoothie first. By the time we received the food and left, in the car, realized the espresso coffee was COLD and a HORRIBLE flavor: old, bitter, even kind of salty. So weird. I have ordered coffee plenty of times and espresso is one of our favorites but what happened? The smoothie had no flavor: as if the fruit was not well chosen. You couldn't distinguish any fruit flavor. Even though it had chunks of fruit that didn't get blended all the way. We couldn't say anything because we had already left with our to go order. The sandwhich a caprese was supposed to come in a ciabatta but instead it came in a BURNT wrap. It was missing the basil and tomato sauce. The bowl was very sad looking with soggy sweet potatoes. This was for someone who was sick in hospital and they received a bad order :(

Awesome local spot in Kendall! Mix of Colombian/Venezuelan classics with American favorites. Have been on multiple occasions and food/service is consistently on point. Variety of coffee options and bfast platters. Seems like there is an emphasis on customer service and quality of goods. Enjoyed all my meals! Lots of seating inside with table outside as well. Nicely decorated and clean.

This breakfast place is some of the best food I've had in Miami! After a week on a cruise, this was the perfect first meal back on land. The menu is extensive, which options for everyone. I highly recommend getting a drink with your meal - the chai latte was one of the best I've had. The serving sizes are large, so don't be afraid to split something OR come hungry. Parking is street only. The inside atmosphere is unique and inviting. Lots of personality. The staff was very helpful in answering questions. Will be back the next time I'm in Miami!!

If you're looking for a coffee shop in Kendall. Look no further. Macondo's is a gem. The ambiance here is so kickback. There are quaint lil booths sitting under gunny sacks of coffee beans. The decor here is beautiful. The coffee here is soo rich and bold. The doble macchiato is my recommendation if you like to taste the bold espresso in your cafecito. The service here is great. They also serve breakfast and lunch.

Definitely going back! I think I found my new breakfast spot. Everything was delicious, nothing was a miss. We were four dining and all enjoyed our choices. Paco was very helpful assisting us navigate the menu and coffee options. Service was excellent, friendly atmosphere, clean facilities and no funny smell walking in (which a lot of places tend to have)! We had Fabio's Favorite, El Gringo, Italian chicken, dirty chai latte, sunrise, decaf latte with pistachio --all yummy!

I stopped by Macondo Kendall on an impromptu trip to the hospital and picked up a cortadito with oat milk and some tequeños. The moment I took a sip, it brought back a wave of great memories from my student days at FIU. I still remember going to the original Macondo opening on Doral many years ago and feeling that same warmth and flavor. The coffee was smooth and perfectly balanced, and the tequeños were just the comfort food I needed. This place continues to deliver the same heart and soul I loved back then.

Love the addition to a larger restaurant that now accommodates more seating. The service was great you order from the counter and then someone brings your coffee or dishes to you as well as clear as a table as you're sitting there. A definite go to spot for breakfast. I ordered the double macchiato with almond milk which came out hot as well as an egg omelette that had tomatoes, mozzarella onions, and I added spinach and mushrooms.

Great place! This was a hit with our group of adults and kids on vacation. There was plenty of seating and so many options for food and drink. The coffee was great and the service was friendly. The avocado toast was very good and the pancakes were a hit! Everyone was very happy with our choice and I would highly recommend checking it out.

It's just for coffee! Thou it is delicious coffee there is a very nice variety of good eats. We originally found this coffee house in its Doral location. It was one of the most creamiest coffee i has ever had. Only bad thing for us thou this location closes very early. Making it difficult for us to go out there during a week day. Now back to this location. We are not very frequently in area but sure thankful of their a bit longer hours. We have stopped here twice. Thinking we were only gonna have an awesome cup of coffee only to pleasantly find out we can choice something yummy from their menu. We went with the Mamma Mia. This is a baguette panini filled with delicious prosciutto thin sliced ham cheese pesto serves warm. Scrupulous! Hubby went with Sweet & salty turkey. He loves this one. There are so many awesome things to try like bowls empanadas desserts etc. a must go back for sure. Do check out their website cause there are more locations available. Saw this cute coffee shop while making time for the urgent care center to open. Super pricey. The cappuccino is ok has a cute presentation. They killed me with the oatmeal though. It's "homemade" with season fruits and berry sauce. So "homemade" is instant and seasonal fruits or dried raisins and almonds with one small strawberry. Then the berry sauce is a little grape jelly thingy that you get in IHOP. . Really. Have owners of these places list their mind!!! I don't mind paying for something that is good but dude come on. To say the service is attentive is an understatement: the owners themselves were proudly helping out and checking in on each customer, maintaining a super friendly and intimate atmosphere that is incredibly rare to find nowadays. I had the chai latte and veggie bowl, both were delicious and so filling. Seriously can't say enough good things about Macondo Kendall. They deserve your support and care deeply about the community they serve. Growing up in Kendall, the only real option for cafes to sit in were Starbucks. I was excited to find a spot not only in Kendall, but walking distance from my apartment. After a toasty walk over, I easily located the cafe and was also pleased to see some outdoor seating options. The cafe itself has ample seating and smart on the owner's part to have several long tables to be able to accommodate people who are alone and not needing to take up an entire table to themselves. The ambiance was inviting and just the right amount of light. They seem to have a robust kitchen as well, though I only came for a beverage and to get some work done. I ordered an iced matcha latte which was perfect, as I usually find them too sweet. After tip I did pay $7 for my drink which seemed a bit steep to me, but that also includes a standard .70 charge for soy milk (which I find silly but I have learned is standard everywhere I go). My absolute favorite part of the cafe is the LIVE plants that adorn various corners of the place! So often I see faux plants and I can't help but find them off putting, almost as if to exploit the concept without the commitment to the care that comes with the gift that greenery gives an aesthetic, noncommittal if you will. But here, down to the vines, all the plants are real! I've never seen a cafe do this before. I'm in love. Will be back! read more

Macondo Coffee Roasters is a story of carrying forth a love for heritage and culture; a tradition of showcasing the attributes of Colombian coffee to the world. We work directly with farmers of the less than 2000 coffee plants who channel their effort into the love for expertly grown coffee. The Macondo Kendall location is technically the first franchise location for the Miami roasting outfit Macondo Coffee Roasters. Following the original Macondo shop in Doral, the Kendall location also emphasizes a health-forward menu of fresh food items such as panini, bowls, empanadas, and various breakfast offerings.

All they needed to do was make the mascarpone sweeter and thicker, and use sweetened condensed milk mix for the milk then soak the lady finger in espresso or sprinkle espresso on top. I was so disappointed it tasted like snot in a glass with matcha on top to me. The manager was very nice, she asked me if I liked it and I was honest with her she replaced my drink with a strawberry matcha. They took forever getting my strawberry matcha to me, it was getting busy but our server never came back to our table to give me my new drink. He was awful. On to the food. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. Several allergies in the group including nuts and chickpeas which they serve. We advised of the allergies and they were very good about noting them. The omelette was delicious and flavorful. I appreciate the butter being soft and the bread was good. The iron man was a hit except for the potatoes. 4 out of 6 liked them. I was not a fan. We differed on what the seasonings were. Thought maybe curry. The mama mia was good and didnt miss the pesto. The salmon pizza was good but could've been great if the salmon was put on after the pizza was baked. Was very tasty. The tequenos are listed as "to share" but the order is two tiny tequenos so dont count on sharing. The empanadas were exquisite. The pastry is buttery and the fillings very tasty. Had the mushroom and the bacon/egg/cheese. The star of the show is the coffee and the reason we chose the place. The dads are very serious about their coffee and have almost every coffee brewer you can buy. We had cappuccino, regular coffee and the V60. We asked for both V60 to be strong but one came medium. You can really taste the difference. Definitely the strong is the way to go. The medium tasted a little watery. The cappuccino was creamy and didn't need sugar. I hope they consider expansion soon. The service was good, and the food was tasty; we tried their egg and cheese sandwich with crispy bacon and spinach, which hit the spot. However, the highlight was definitely the Iced Caramel Latte with Oatmilk--the coffee itself was absolutely amazing! Overall, it was a good experience, but I'd like to return to try more items from the menu. The only drawback was the limited seating space. This place serves a large selection of breakfast and lunch items throughout the day. From what I could see, they have all the standard drinks seen in coffee shops, nothing too fancy. My basic cappuccino made with oat milk was tasty and satisfying. The avocado toast was rather wonderful; it included a whole medium avocado and some delicious pickled onions. It was not at all stingy. Even on a quite busy afternoon, there's rapid service, good-sized tables, outlets, WiFi, and both inside and outdoor sitting. I'm happy I made the visit. read more

The establishment is fantastic, a welcoming spot to bring family for sandwiches and coffee in Kendall. Unfortunately, I found the pricing on some of the specialty coffee options, like the Chemex, to be on the higher side. The quality didn't quite match the price, especially compared to what I've experienced at other coffee shops offering similar brews. read more

Lovely place and perfect coffee- Good beans and latte art. The place has such a lovely energy as well and the staff was very friendly. Had the Colombian breakfast and double macchiato that tasted like dark choco and a croissant sandwich that was fresh and hot. If you're a coffee lover, visit them. The cappuccino here is my go to drink! They actually make it correctly (vs Starbucks incorrect version), and it tastes so good! I recommend staying and enjoying your drink. If you do they will give you real mugs to drink, and when you want to leave ask one of the Batista for a cup to go and you can enjoy your cup on the go! read more

First time here and it was really good! It seemed like there were several regulars as well which say alot. They have a great coffee selection so if you are a coffee drinker this is the place for you.
