The menu has a lot of great sounding options. The Buffalo chicken cheesesteak caught my eye and wow it did not disappoint in terms of quantity.... But the taste? Kind of just okay. Came here just to get takeout after a run. Service was fast and the woman who helped us was wonderful! Great attitude and offered us waters when we sat to wait for our takeout! Everyone was saying there is no where good around. A quick Yelp search leads me to macs! Three sandwiches and two home fries was $28. The sandwiches were one of the best I've ever had. I've debated about submitting this review for a week but I can't get past the "lying" part so: We've stopped here for lunch/dinner before. It's never busy and the food is OK. Today we stopped for breakfast. 10 mins after being seated we received menus. After we ordered we watched as people who came in after us were already eating and we hadn't received our eggs and toast. So we sat and watched and (20 mins later) when the server caught our eye she started going thru the old orders. Easy to figure out that she screwed up and our order was never put in. We finally received our food while the people who came in after us were already leaving! When questioning the waitress, she only replied "the kitchen got backed up". We would have understood a mistake with an apology (it happens) but lying instead of apologizing is always unacceptable. While paying at the register my wife (politely) tried to explain why there was no tip. We wanted to give them another chance. Nope, no apology. Instead they became defensive and blamed the problem on "being busy". Funny, every other table we watched had no problem getting their food. The error was obvious but they wouldn't admit a simple mistake and stayed with the lie. The server's lie cost her a good tip. The staffs' refusal to admit a mistake and apologize cost this business a customer. read more

Yes. That's 16 whole inches of sub. To tackle the 8" is a solid meal, and that's what i got. It was massive, steak was literally overflowing from my bread. I ordered the garlic parm steak sub with mayo & lettuce. The garlic parm is a sauce, like the type you get on wings. It's like a buttery garlicy season sauce that they toss the steak in and it makes it super juicy, gushing with flavor. You get your choice of cheese, i went with provolone (they even have cheez whiz!). I also got some chicken tenders, strictly because they offer the country sweet sauce here that speaks to my heart and soul. They were perfect. This was my second time ordering from the Victor, NY Mac's location. I'm in town from the Bronx and as a result tend to have high expectations for locations offering subs and "Philly" cheesesteaks. We ordered online using the Mac's website interface. I liked how customizations were offered on the website - it was very easy to add/subtract ingredients to each order. We ordered a small chicken finger sub and a turkey Ruben. The chicken finger sub was simple but done well. The fingers were sliced lengthwise maximizing the amount of chicken in the sandwich. The turkey Ruben was disappointing. It was advertised as having turkey, Swiss, Cole slaw, and Russian dressing. The Cole slaw tasted mass produced and the dressing leaked from the sandwich in runny drips as you bit into it. The turkey was disappointing. It was salty and highly processed. The bread on both sandwiches was soft and tasty. Would I order from here? Definitely. I was just really disappointed with the quality of the turkey - it was never be acceptable in the Bronx! Ordered online for a certain time and my husband had to wait probably twenty minutes still when he got there. I got a chicken cheese Philly with added grilled onions and red hot sauce and a side of onion rings. My first complaint was that the food was hardly warm at all, and we live 5 minutes away from the restaurant mind you. The onion rings were your usual frozen onion rings that any not-so-special restaurant has. The sandwich was definitely good, but if they added the sauce I didn't taste it! The chicken was really nothing special. It reminded me of steak-ums. The cost was pretty crazy to me for how sub par the food was. It was good but text time I'll definitely just opt to make these at home and get the same sandwich but save my money. read more

Love this location vs the canandaigua location because it's easier to park plus better lit inside. Food is amazing life their cheese steaks. Love the seasoning they use on their fries. Went in here tonight for dinner. It's a nice place inside, with lots of booths and tables. The menu is huge with so many items. The girl at the counter was super friendly, helping me with my order by explaining different options. I ordered a steak and cheese sub and got fries and a fountain drink with it for around $15 (a bit on the high side). The sandwich had steak, provolone, LTO, and oil and vinegar dressing. They made it within 15 minutes. It was presented well with a good amount of steak and tasted not bad, but it was a little dry, and required more cheese as you can see in the picture. The fries were the best part, coated, making them nice and crispy with great taste. We noticed quite a few people coming in for takeout orders, so it's a pretty popular place. This place slaps!!! Only had garbage plates homemade and this definitely showed me why you have to get them for take out. The place was busy located in a plaza so parking may be difficult. I had to drive around multiple times before finding parking. I ordered to go. When i picked it up was still warm and fresh. I got the garbage plate with hamburger and steak. The prices were fair and liked all the different options plus ways to customize it. The taste itself bomb.
