So, this place was really good! To be honest, I have never heard of it and am new to working in the Farmington area, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Admittedly, I didn't get a normal Philly cheese steak, but a chicken club Philly. The buns are packed full so make sure to grab a fork and knife and some napkins. My only criticism would be my cooked mushrooms... They were a little dated, and didn't taste right. Simple fix, I just took them off the sandwich, but I hope it doesn't happen again because then it would be a problem. Try this place! read more

My kids love ordering from here. The cheesesteaks are good. I do feel there could be more of the cheesesteak in the sandwich. Burgers are awesome as well. The menu variety is huge. We have had the onion rings which are delicious. Overall love ordering from here. Would like to see them sandwiches overstuffed with ingredients. When this diner was owned by the Cretokos family, the PapaJack burger including homemade chips was in the $6 range. I ordered two burgers with chips and my bill came to $21.56 + tax. MACS claimed they were only going make a few minor changes, but keep to the local, family diner atmosphere. Almost a 100% increase in price. That's a big change. Sorry, good luck! read more

We order delivery pretty regularly from here when visiting my husbands family and it's quite good. The plates are huge and delicious, burgers are well cooked, and the fries generally arrive crispy. Will never order from this Diner again. Ordered 2 turkey subs for delivery one with salami added and extra mayo. Instead of calling me to inform me that they do not have Salami at that location they just sent me a regular Turkey sub. My phone number was on the slip along with the special instructions. It would of been great if they would of called me to inform me on that matter and give me the option to order something else. When calling to complain I was asked what would I like them to do? How about come pick up the sub that wasn't right and ask me if there was something else that I would like.? But nope ... bad business, you just lost a regular customer. another spontaneity stop because i gotta make my way around all of rochester and came across this gem of a diner. nice waitresses with literally zero wait time for food to come out. it felt like i ordered before i got there the way it was done so quickly. they even managed to make a garbage plate in the same amount of time it took to make a bacon cheeseburger and it all came out perfect. i would definitely recommend this to anyone. read more

Finally visited this location this week I've been to all the others before so it seemed it was time. Seemed like it may be a slower paced location but I actually enjoyed being the only customers there no rush to order or eat. Friendly staff offered menu suggestions when asked. Good amount of seating compared to most locations and surprising considering size of plaza. Variety of choices to choose from. Highly suggest Philly cheesesteak. Based on service and quality of food new favorite macs location Fairport being my second. read more

The vegetable sandwhich, while loaded with mushrooms, onions, etc was not properly seasoned. The provolone cheese was barely visible. Juices from the vegetables seeped into the roll (not entirely fresh, either) so much that the bread fell apart. The onion rings, or what onions there were in them, were way overcooked. Nearly burned. The crust was so hard, it snapped in pieces, possibly making these less than delights a designed by science product. My husband is a native Philadelphian. He had hopes for this place. He was greatly disappointed. He says Mac's "Philly's" by no stretch match those found in South Philadelphia. read more

I order from Macs Philly steak a lot whether that's just me by myself or my family. It's a great place to get great meals when no ones in the mood to fire up the oven. They're always punctual when they deliver in the people are so friendly. The fat Mac, which is a Philly cheese steak sub with french fries and macaroni salad is to die for and their chocolate chip cookies are very tasty. Restroom out of order other one a mess, and majority of dining tables unwiped! Makes me wonder about the condition of the kitchen and the quality of the food handling??
