Not long later, everything arrived just as I ordered it! On the other end- I needed to exchange one of the shirts and Elfin was key in making that go as smoothly as possible. They even texted me photos of the shirt display so that I could select the best color. Sure enough, the perfect exchange was made, and they even included some Pacific Wave stickers! So great! Much more "neutral" styles now. Atmosphere - I believe one of the first Patagonia Outlet stores opened. Decent size location. They even have a lounge area; see picture. Very clean, neat, organized location; see pictures. Plenty of mall parking. Restrooms (if needed) are in the rear of the building, a long walk. Not sure if they are Patagonia's or the mall's restrooms. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm; and on Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Service - Self service. Price - Above average, but that is the cost for quality (and service). Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1973. And thank you for also giving 1% to not-for-profit workers "to defend the earth." And having programs that raise awareness of environmental and social issues. My favorite program is Worn Wear. You can either sell Patagonia your used clothes or trade them in so they can fix it. I believe that reusing is better than recycling. Furthermore, they give you credit ranging from $15 to $150.

When I picked up my items that weren't accepted, my purse was thrown in with the clothes without the dust bag I originally provided. When I asked about it, I was told it had been "misplaced." I've called multiple times trying to resolve this, and the responses have been inconsistent and frustrating. One employee said the person handling the items didn't know where it was, and later I was told that a dust bag was never brought in, which is simply not true. I specifically showed them the bag in its dust cover when I dropped it off. As someone who values designer items, this level of carelessness and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Whether the dust bag is valued at $10 or more, that's not the point, the issue is how this situation has been handled. I've asked to speak with a manager and am still waiting for proper follow up. Unfortunately, this experience felt dismissive and dishonest. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others to think twice before bringing in valuable or designer items here.

They have good quality bathing suits, shorts, hoodies, sunglasses, back packs, basically everything you'd need for a good beach day and some afternoon fun in the sun. The people that work here are super welcoming and nice giving this place a local beach town feel. I love it! This place is rad! The owners are really good people!! The store is convenient to go to when you are at the beach, and they have a nice selection of different brands of clothing, with many different choices--shirts,hoodies and more--that say Santa Cruz on them ( the city, not the company). A lot of the designs are really attractive. The sales staff is considerate enough to remind you that sale items are final sale. Overall a pleasant place to shop.
