This macys has so much in stock, and location is conveniently located in the mall that has it all. The customer service here is absolutely terrible. From the empty fitting rooms that you have go out of your way to find someone to get help which can take forever, and the very little cash registers that are being operated causing the lines to get ridiculously long. I had the worst experience today in the Shoe Department! With a very unhelpful, rude and useless worker named Ethan. He had the worst attitude and was being a smart ass when asking for help. As he passed I asked if he worked there so that he can help me and he said No, even tho he had a badge on. Minutes later he went to go help another customer that walked in and totally ignored me. Worst customer service ever! I'm not happy with the service there at all. When confronting him he just stared at me like a dumbass. I walked out and took my service some where else. I have never had an issue with any other department but every time I go to the men's shoes it's the same issue. First for the staff: I saw today a customer which obviously wasn't making any sense screaming at a sales person. And that sales person replying patiently and do not get into fight. !!!BE AWARE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RETURNS!!! Macy's is embezzling money right under your nose without you even being aware of it, all due to their "Star Rewards Program" I recently bought shoes at this Macy's this weekend, after I made my purchase I was told that I had earned rewards money to use on my next purchase, I thought to my self that's great I could use that on my purchase for school clothes for my kids, well unfortunately on the same day I made my purchase I had to return the shoes for a full refund, the Macy's employee told me that I was going to lose my rewards money that I earned that day, I figured that's fair sense I earned the rewards money only because of the purchase I made it would make sense that I would lose the rewards money because I am returning the shoes, once I finished with the returns I noticed that I was returned less money than I spent on the shoes, I then returned back to the store to get back the $16 that was missing from my refund. Well this is where things start going really bad because as soon as I spoke with one of the customer service representative she immediately told me "this is how our system works and there is nothing wrong with the return they made" I tried to show her the purchase recipe to show her that there was a mistake and that there was money still owed to me but she didn't even want to look at my purchase recipe took a look again at my refund recipe and said "oh you used rewards money so that's why you got less money" I had told her that I didn't use the rewards money and that I have the purchase recipe to prove that I didn't, she the replied with "well rewards money never shows up on your purchase recipe when you buy something so that wont matter"... at this moment I thought that's not right? Why wouldn't it show up on your purchases but they show up or returns? And as I asked her these questions she quickly cut me off and said "I can't help you any more so I'll get you my manager Billy!" At this point I got a bit frustrated because I came in to the store for help and got a grumpy employee, well things only got worse with Billy, he explained to me that it dosen't matter if I use the rewards money on the purchase or if I save them the system will always deduct the rewards money from ANY REFUND and "that's just how their system works"..... so now I'm completely shocked! So my understanding is this, you buy something at Macy's and earn rewards money, if you dont use them and you return anything you purchased you will then get deducted whatever rewards money you earned....?????? Now I dont know about you but whenever I shop at other stores that have rewards program for their customers, they give them some reward or point's for their purchases and if you return the item the helped earn you the reward then they also take back whatever point or reward you get, but it looks like Macy's way of doing it is to give you "rewards money" and if you return anything then the deduct set amount of "reward money from your returns, that's not right! And I only lost $16 in this transaction but imagine how many people shop and return items at Macy's! My recommendation double check your receipts! There is better organization at a discount store. If you can't find it, you can't buy it. Sales team doesn't seem to care.
