Whoever is running this store needs to get it together. Firstly, the service is never helpful nor friendly. I went on a busy Saturday to try on a few pairs of jeans and there was a line to get a dressing room. Two rooms were being used and maybe 6 more were locked. No attendant. Maybe one person at the check out. When the one employee we could see was asked if they could open more dressing rooms, the employee replied with a flat tone "I'm not allowed to" zero motivation to help or say "hey let me check" just a useless response. When I finally got a room it was shrouded in pure filth. I want to know how I'm supposed to step in dirt while trying on new clothes?! Cmon. Left with nothing. read more

Service was horrible and so unwelcoming. I love cotton on and have never had a bad experience. This was my first time at this cotton on location and I was disappointed. The selection was alright but they did not have that many nice options. What made me most upset was the checkout lady, even though I have the name on my receipt I will not be saying it because I respect other people's privacy. (To owner: If you would like to know, please contact me) She left the security tag on and had an attitude. Imagine how embarrassing it is walking into every story and the security system starts going off and having no clue from what. Don't buy anything online from COTTON ON clothing store, if you return you will not get the sales tax you paid for your item. On January 6, 2023 I bought clothing through their website using AfterPay as a form of payment. I decided to return the clothing, I went to return it to the store located inside the Topanga Canyon Mall on (6600 CA-27 Canoga Park CA 91303). The first time I went to return the clothing I was told by the sales person Natalie that I had to payoff the entire balance of the order, I did what she requested me to do. I waited 2 weeks and went back to the store again to get my money back, but was faced with a problem, they are not refunding the taxes I paid. I was told that AfterPay was not refunding the taxes. I contacted AfterPay and was told that it was not them, since I used Cotton On website for the purchase that it was Cotton On that is supposed to refund the entire balance that I paid. I went again on Monday 2/6/2023 to try and get my money back, and this time I was told to get a receipt number from AfterPay, I did exactly what the sales person told me. I went to the store today 2/9/2023 hoping to get my money back, I was assisted by the same sales person Natalie and guess what!!! again, they are refusing to refund the taxes. She called someone to assist her with the refund and this person told her he/she was busy and he/she instructed her to let me know that I needed to return the clothing by mail. I told her I was not going to do that because I didn't want to go through the same thing of not getting the taxes. At this point I got really frustrated, I told her that I was not going to leave the store without my money back, I requested her that I speak with a manager, but instead she called security on me, I was frustrated and not even being belligerent, I was standing in front of the counter on my cell phone trying to contact Cotton On by chat trying to resolve the problem. I mentioned to the security officer that there was no reason for him to be there, he agreed, I asked him, do you see me yelling or screaming or being rude and he said no, he said he was there because they were called. I told Natalie she had the audacity to call security, she did not have the guts to face me, I told her to look at me and answer why she called security, she kept her face down writing something on a piece of paper. She completely ignore my question, I told her she needs to learn manners and customer service etiquette when a customer is talking to her and that this was not the way to resolve the problem, all I was asking is to talk to a manager. read more

Buying in this store is a nightmare, doesn't have enough employees in the cashier just one person to serve 20 customer in line it's terrible if you have a back pain like me don't go there because you probably get it worse the waiting time to pay for 2 items was 45 minutes....it's no good management in the store we are on this pandemic and to have a long line waiting for long I don't think is fine...hire more employees please!!! read more

Loved this place. It's hard finding nice simple clothes for a reasonable price now but they had great sales and my wife and I loved their clothes. Visited this location to make an exchange and was assisted by Maddie who was extremely rude for simply asking a question regarding the exchange and questioning the total amount. She threw my receipt and items i was purchasing as well as being aggressive and argumentative. She was waiving her hands around and easing her voice at us for simply quark in the total. She then stormed off to the back and a manger by the name of Grace took over. Grace handled the situation poorly as a Manger and was unapologetic about the whole situation stating that she doesn't know what happen and she wouldn't be saying sorry because she doesn't know Maddie's side of the story.
