    Holiday shopping
    Chris D.

In a world where shopping has dwindled down to electronic shopping carts. Amazon packages delivered to your doorstep We still have some real human experiences.. Macy's.... I went on a Saturday to pick up holiday attire for a party This was during a Saturday night.. Overwhelmed with choices, I'm sure on camera I looked like the dazed and confused.. That's where the magic began I got approached by a real human being.. A lady, store associate ( I'm so bad with names) She stopped to check on me to see if everything was alright. Ladies and gentlemen you already know the answer to this question.. While she was helping me, Another store associate approached, a guy. Next another woman approached People I'm being serious, and yes these were real humans too. No I'm not dreaming either I ended up with the beginning lady, And another woman that went to school for fashion specializing in color.. Recommending choices, collaborating together on what I should wear I walked out with exactly what I needed Confident in the assisted choices in my new attire I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE GO TO THE ACTUAL STORE. FEEL THE MAGIC OF REAL HUMANS THAT LOOK AT THESE ITEMS IN THE STORE ON A DAILY BASIS. DONT SPEND CONFUSED MOMENTS SCRATCHING YOUR HEAD. Let the experts handle it.. As long as I'm in Santa Barbara I wish they never close Macy's This was my greatest experience for customer service during the holidays... Of course I will be back...

Alejandro is super helpful and friendly. I walked into the store looking for a crock pot and he found me the only big one left.

This Macys is very unorganized and lacks customer service incredibly. Clothes are not folded and all over the floor. Does anyone work here?

Horrible customer service. I asked to speak to a manager and the "supervisor" blew me off giving me excuses.

Extremely low inventory. Wanted a belt, and shoes, but they had very limited size options. Macy's on lower state st. Is much better.

Macy's is also La Cumbre Plaza's only interior anchor and I feel that it does better than the mall itself.

Walked into Diani was not greeted at all. I didn't take immediate offense since I understand that staff can be busy. I walked around and then was curious about the beautiful jewelry in the case. I could hear the staff member organizing sections of clothing. I never once was acknowledged or even asked if I would like assistance or if I would like to see something. Absolutely nothing. Now I have a few friends that shop there frequently and never have I been told that the service was poor and rude so I didn't have any preconceived notions. I decided to leave and when I turned around saw the staff member organizing sections and I said hello. Her reply was cold and dismissive but she did say hello. The first thing I thought of was wow, people should always treat others with respect especially in a high end store, you never ever know who has a lot of money in Santa Barbara so therefore judging is just poor etiquette! I will never go back to that store and maybe the staff member should remember that she is working for the store clearly not shopping in it. Diani please be respectful, Santa Barbara is a small town.

I've discovered so many brands here that I genuinely love and wear on repeat, including Shaina Mote, B Sides, Cawley, Flore Flore, Hai, &Daughter, and Ichi Antiquités. They also carry Living Libations, a line of organic, pure, renegade beauty products that aligns perfectly with the shop's thoughtful ethos. I'm especially obsessed with the Frankincense Best Skin Ever. Yes, it's an investment, but the pieces are exceptionally well made and designed to last. This is slow fashion and conscious consumption done right. I don't come here to splurge all the time. I'm intentional about whether I'll truly wear something, and when it makes sense, I go for it.
