Ana Delia is the best. :-) This review is long overdue, so where to begin. The location is in a good spot of Boyle Heights. Its small and unimpressive to the naked eye. Fear not once you are inside this quaint little beauty shop you'll be impressed by the hospitality that you receive. I usually come for my haircuts or a blow outs. Because that's all I needed. Since I never colored or treated my hair in any matter (virgin hair). Until last month. On march I decided to make my relationship serious with Ana Delia (Co-owner and overall hair genius). Ana Delia was super excited as was I going to do something new, especially when it meant color treating my virginial locks. The thing that I like about her service is that she really takes it upon herself to know each and every customer, in reguards to what they like and don't like, their professional/career and overall sense of fashion (she in not pushy or intimidating). Ana Delia suggested I get some highlights. Then she was on it. As I cringed the thought of bleaching, she assured me that she wouldn't over do it. So 2 hours or what seemed a small eternity. She was done. I was happy and in love with her work! Ana Delia knew I was worried about coming in for frequent touch-ups. She assured me that I won't havet to come in, not until six months from then. Yay for low maintenance. Its been a month and my hair looks great. I receive many compliments from total strangers and friends. My only suggestion to you is that you phone in to ask for an appointment or just to know the overall volume of customers. That way you won't be stuck reading a magazine or texting (wasting your battery). It gets pretty busy. Save yourself from boredom. read more

I take a 45min - 1hr drive just to get my hair done. Ana is a great hair stylist. I trust her with my hair hands down. She listens to her clients needs and end result is what you expected. She does color, cuts hair, makeup, and threading. She also does makeup classes-- they are really fun plus you get a whole makeup set. read more

This place opened up just a couple of years ago. My sister went there to get her long hair cut to donate it to Locks of Love. She told me the ladies were friendly and that she was satisfied. This past November I wanted to cut my long hair because I was tired of it and I wanted it short. They washed my hair with a wonderful shampoo and a very lovely conditioner. They cut my hair at the perfect length I wanted. Then she styled it, I was happy to pay the 25 dollars that day. However you can see I didn't give it 4 or 5 stars and that is because of my last visit. I was also told they do great eyebrows and at 10 dollars I believed it. I arrived and there was only one worker. She was trying to work with three people at once and I had to wait for about 10 minutes. Finally it was my turn, I've had other ladies do my eyebrows a bit too thin so I clearly articulated "Please DON'T make them too thin". She replied "Oh you just want me to clean them out" and I said yes! She started and I was surprised she didn't let me get a look at it half-ways through, like other ladies have done in the past. She showed my face until she was done with one eyebrow and to my surprise my eyebrow was extremely thin!! I didn't even have to make a surprised face because thank you to my thin eyebrow it already looked as if I were surprised! I told her it was too thin and I was disappointed, I told her to just finish up. I don't know why I paid in full but I wanted to leave that place asap! I don't know her name or I would put it on blast but just so you, the reader, knows she has really red hair (little mermaid kind) and is fairly young. I have been going to get my eyebrows done there for more than four years and the ladies never leave them too thin. On the contrary I was out of town and had to get them done elsewhere, the lady completely messed them up. I came back with Monica and she fixed them. Unlike other stylist she does not get upset if you tell her to fix your hair, she is open to constructive criticisms. They do awesome hair, everyone from my family goes to her. You tell her what you want and she makes it happen. You would be pretty dumb to run away from such a great place. read more

I went to this place after 2 years of letting my hair grow. I wanted a straight cut but ANA suggested some layers will look great. I took her advice but now that I see my hair I regret letting her cut my hair I had it below my shoulder but now the firsts layers are above my ears. She just ruined my hair its horrendous I don't even know what type of haircut is this if you could call it haircut this is a bird nest. Please don't go to this place or you will regret just like me.
