Place used to be awesome. First time trying it again after about 5 years or so. Think I got food poisoning from my salad. Never again.

I ordered delivery. I ordered the small salad but by the time I added all the stuff I like, it was 2 lbs of salad! That's 2 or 3 meals for me which is just fine. All the veggies were chilled and fresh. Packed well and carefully. I also tried the chicken noodle soup. Not my favorite but it did have a slightly thicker base rather than thin and runny. Too much of whatever herb they are using, it might be sage, but the noodles and celery and carrots were very good. There are many options of salad offered. I might do a Cobb salad next time and there will be a next time. My only suggestions - being a lady of the 90s and salad bars- is the sides could be more. They are trying to be healthy but maybe some Italian pasta salad or potato salad. I wish they added slivered ham and kidney beans to the options for salads. All in all, great! read more

Great restaurant. Good prices. Saul Ramirez has been there a long time and he is friendly and efficient and does a great job keeping things clean and fast and delicious. (I know his name because the preparer's names are on the receipts -- lol). I just wish they had one in my neighborhood. I'd get a salad every single day. read more

I was a little unsure about this place. It's a little tricky to find, last review was a year ago, and the review trend back then wasn't great. Decided to give it a shot anyway. Overall, I liked it. The interior isn't as nice as some of the other popular salad places, but the food was good and the staff were friendly. Service was quick, and I really enjoyed the Caesar. The only thing costing a star here is the interior. The ceiling hangs a bit low, the lighting could be better, and there's a bit of an odor, like old produce. Just not a great setup for dining in. Would definitely recommend ordering for pickup or delivery though! read more

My husband and his coworkers are obsessed with this place. So, after a morning of errands and craving a healthy lunch, I stopped in to pick us up some noms, and NOMS they were! SPACE: Located in a strip mall off Clinton St, the place is bright in color and easy to spot. Parking is rough, but spots can be found up front or in the surrounding parking lots. However, they fill up fast, so be warned! The interior features a variety of seating options with bare bones designs but one hell of a menu. SUSTENANCE: The menu offers a wide variety of options - from signature salads to traditional to build your own, there is literally something for everyone! I opted for a small Los Cabos salad - which was loaded with freshly grilled steak, over a bead of romaine lettuce, along with cheese, avocado, corn, cilantro and drizzled with southwest ranch dressing. YUM! My husband opted for something similar but with grilled chicken, which we also found delicious. Portions are HUGE despite how tiny the empty container looks on the counter when ordering. My small was massive and gave way to two meals, to which I happily enjoyed! SERVICE: We were greeted with smiles and hellos upon entry, which was super welcoming! We were given a rundown of the menu and within minutes of ordering, our meals were ready! I can't wait to venture back and try more of their delicious offerings! read more

I came here recently since I thought a salad would be a perfect lunch. I ordered online. I love that they have that option since it makes work lunches so much more convenient. I came to pick up my salad and I was disappointed to see lettuce leaves hanging out of the packaging. It just showed a lack of care in what they were handing off. When I got back to work I was even more disappointed when I realized it was almost all lettuce and the toppings were to a minimum. I paid $9 for this salad so I expected a lot more toppings. I think I'll stick to other spots in the area to get my salad fix. read more

For me, Fourleaf is still the best of the fast salad places near my office IF you are taking out the salad. While I do think it is one of the better priced salad places and I happen to like their favorite selections or daily salad specials, it isn't a place that will draw you in and make you want to sit and relax at lunch. It is in a weird shopping plaza that is super busy and doesn't have much of a seating area. However, I think it is one of the better assembly line salad places for the price. While Choppers in a nicer atmosphere (bigger/brighter) and Mad Greens is great if you are in the Park Meadows area, Fourleaf is perfect for the quick in and out lunch. Nothing fancy. They are only open Mon-Fri from 11a to 4p so it is strictly a work day lunch place! read more

Some of the low star reviews on here are hilarious, "too much lettuce in the salad" or "my GPS messed up when i came here". Well, if you like lettuce in your salad and can navigate a strip mall, then this is the salad spot to go in DTC/Centennial/Englewood area. The salads are massive and reasonably priced. Fourleaf delivers the best value when it comes to salads in this area. Also, this place is fast, even with a line I can leave my office, have them make a salad, and then get back to my office in 20 minutes which is 3 miles away. I usually get the Southwestern Salad with buffalo chicken and avocado which is an awesome salad. Today I decided to mix it up and try the Smoked Salmon salad and it was delicious. Smells like sweat and the only reason we stayed, besides the delicious salads, is the girl repeatedly changed her gloves after wiping dripping sweat off of her face on her shirt. I heart salad places and Fourleaf is no exception.I was forewarned to get here early and that's no lie--we got there at 11:30am and there were a few people ahead of us and by the time we left the line was nearly out the door which is just ridunkulous (but at the same time reassuring to see people in line for salads vs fast food). They have small and large sizes, set salads or create your own version, simple enough to find something that will make your mouth and belly smile. I went with a large cobb salad and love that they offer it with grilled chicken. It's kinda like the setup at Subway in a constant conveyor belt like line but you don't talk to the employees at Fourleaf, they just do their thing. Execution wise it's a fail because it gets backed up which then in turn results in a line almost out the door. This right here is going to stop me from coming here again for a salad when I want to dine in and instead I will choose to call in the order and pick it up. Oh yeah and when you pay there's gummy bears, lots and lots of gummy bears. Heaven. The salad was terrific and too much for me to kill in one sitting so I got to have second lunch later in the afternoon. I love the four leaf salads. I admit I have never stepped foot inside the restaurant, but have gotten delivery to my office. The salads are well put together, and chopped well, but not into oblivion. I have had the low carb salad and the buffalo chicken salad (both upgraded to a large salad of course). The buffalo chicken salad has everything you would expect. Iceberg lettuce, buffalo chicken, celery, carrots, bleu cheese, and I chose bleu cheese dressing as well. There was just enough of everything to keep me happy, and the blend of ingredients was perfect. The low carb is still my favorite, but is a salad that has a calorie count over 900. This salad had iceberg lettuce with egg, bacon, salami, turkey, cheddar, and mozzarella. It is good for a splurge, but way heavy on the calories, and stomach. Approach with caution, as it was so good, I ate the entire salad. It's nice to see a salad place that has so much to offer. If you don't find a salad that tickles your fancy, you can always build your own salad, and add whatever you like. If you are looking for a light, healthy salad (or a heavy one), this place is definitely worth a look. read more

I am not normally in the DTC area, but thanks to my yelp app I found this spot to eat at. Set in a strip mall the outside isn't much, but inside is bright and colorful. It was just 12 and it was packed till the minute I left. They almost need more seating out some outdoor tables for overflow. I enjoyed the Nappa salad. They have lots of salad dressing choices and recommended one to go well with this salad. The small is very large and had lots of chicken. A great value for $7.50. read more

I have been heading to Fourleaf since the first day it opened and it is truly hard to stay away. Everyone likes the idea of eating a salad for lunch, and this place turns that "good idea" into an enjoyable experience. They have numerous mix-ins and dressings that are guaranteed to please no matter what kind of mood you are in. My personal favorite is the Napa Valley (without celery and blue cheese... two of my absolute LEAST favorite foods). I think I have gotten this constantly for the past 3 years but before I became a one-salad girl, I used to get the Southwestern a lot with either Southwest Ranch or the Roasted Red Pepper Vinagerette. Sometimes the pepper can be a little chunky, and the croutons just too much, so use your disgression before ordering those. And just make sure that you ask for what you want because they'll do things like give you light dressing, but not unless you ask. Also, the breadsticks? A perfectly doughy buttery addition to the salad that leaves you wanting another one. But then you remember why you are eating a salad in the first place and tell yourself you just will have to wait until next time. read more

I think it is my favorite chopped salad place and I have to say I walked in and the paint and most of the people are new to me. However one of the choppers recognized me and gave me a big Hi. That made me feel very welcomed I had the Asian with the Mandarin Sesame Ginger dressing on the side. I was so happy chomping on all the delicious ingredients. UNDERRATED. GO HERE. I'm new to the area and was raging while trying to find this place, it's in kind of a weird location- but trek on, friends, once you find it oh man it's worth it! All right. Small or large. I got the large. Mistake. It's like a gallon of salad. So try the small your first time. Ordering. You can order a pre-designed salad or build your own. If you BYO, the first four ingredients are free (not including lettuce, croutons, or black pepper, those come with it, if desired). Lots of ingredient choices! Paying. You pay them. They give you your salad PLUS a tasty little breadstick PLUS some tasty little gummy bears. All of this was like the best things I've put in my mouth in days. The salad was just very good. Sometimes it is so hard to find a salad or something healthy for lunch and this is the perfect concept. It obviously works because every time I go there it is packed but they also do a great job moving the line- efficiency! There are a number of pre-made salads to choose from but you also can make your own. On the website, you could get an idea of the calorie count if that is important to you. I've managed to pick the salad of the day each time. I love how they put in all the ingredients, chop it all up, mix in a bit of dressing, and voila! I guess most importantly is the taste and I have never thought twice about it- it's always been good. I do feel the price is a bit high but given how fast and well it is done, you can't really compare it ingredient for ingredient so I'm okay with that. read more

I guess you have to review this place for exactly what it is. The home of the $10 salad! Are the salads good? Yes. Would I pay for one of these salads with my hard earned money? No. Would I go there if someone else was treating? Well... I wouldn't necessarily be happy about it, but I would definitely eat it. All in all, the lunch crowd in DTC absolutely loves this place, if you go there any time after 1130 until about 2, plan on waiting. The staff works hard to get you in and out, and the service is pretty good (considering how many people they deal with on a daily basis) For all you salad heads... ENJOY! I am fed up with this place. Our office orders from here weekly. They are a great option for healthy food and the salads are AMAZING!!!! Now mind you we order online and wait in accordance for the time that is quoted for our food to be ready. EVERY time we go to pick up the food, it is never ready. Not only that but I was told they had a very large order before and they were back up. OK no problem, unless the person picking up the food has been standing there for 20 minutes is watching as someone who came in after them, was in line, got their food, and was now done with their lunch and was leaving AND our order is still not ready. If you are wanting fast food pickup this is not the place. Like I sad the salads are amazing. I think the staff works very hard. So if you are wanting a salad go in and wait for it because if you order online you still going to be waiting for your food. read more

I had the super q salad which had: spinach and kale with quinoa and brown rice mix, cranberries, sunflower seeds, avocado, tomatoes, red onion, and a meat of your choice. I opted for tofu on the protein. I had a huge amount for the small which was great. My main issues were large stems in the kale- this wasn't very fun to eat, even though the salad was chopped there were plenty of stems. I love red onion on my salad and the onion tasted old. Onion has a very odd flavor when old, almost iodiny. This salad went in the trash as it just tasted off. There wasn't much in terms of quinoa in this salad either. I like supporting local small business but the quality wasn't there for me. Overall it was just ok, the location is bizarre and out of the way in an industrial business park of sorts, I had a little trouble locating it. read more

The office ordered delivery today. We were given an hour wait time, not bad as it was at noon and we knew what to expect. An hour and 15 minutes later I called to ask about our order since we hadn't received it yet. Come to find out "the printer wasn't working and the order got missed." We get our order about 20 minutes later. No utensils, no croutons, no extra cheese that we paid for, and no bread. This place used to be great.. What has happened to this place... such a disappointment! I used to be a regular at Fourleaf for many years. After my most recent visit today, I highly doubt I will be returning. My biggest annoyance is that the salad is mostly all lettuce. Today's BBQ chicken salad had literally one tiny bite of avocado, barely any chicken... I honestly can't even remember what else was in the salad since all I remember is eating mouthfuls of lettuce. The salad felt smothered in dressing too, making the salad extremely soggy and unpleasant. The last time I was here I had a similar experience - I ordered the southwestern salad and had to pick out all the jalapeños because they were way too strong and overpowering. For $10 I would expect a fresh and flavorful salad and I definitely did not get this. read more

Location is a bit difficult to find. My GPS said I had arrived but the shop was actually deeper into the parking lot. The parking lot is sloped and contains multiple strips of shops, so I don't even know the best way to park in front. I ended up parking on the street and walking across the lot to the location. When you walk into the shop, there will be a menu to your right with their signature salads or you can build your own. I opted to build my own using your choice of greens, 4 toppings (cheeses, nuts, veggies), and protein is an additional cost. I chose the spring mix, sunflower seeds, beets, red onion, mushrooms, and grilled tofu as the protein. I also got balsamic viniagrette on the side. The bowl is actually a large size, but it's honestly mostly greens. I would occasionally get a bite with mushroom or beet, but if I could break it down into percents I would say it was 90% greens, 2.5% of the other ingredients. They were lost in the salad. Since dressing can be dangerous, I asked for an extra bowl and portioned the amount of dressing I wanted for half the salad. Then, I tossed my salad in the extra bowl. This worked out nicely because I only wanted to use 1oz or so of dressing. I did devour that darn breadstick though and it was carby and worth it. Overall, I would eat this place if my work ordered it, but I definitely wouldn't come back. There are other options that provide you more value for your money. read more

Fourleaf Chopped Salads - A Haiku Dear god I feel fat One too many hamburgers Tasty rabbit food Now I normally adhere to a strict policy of "if its good for you it tasts like crap" in my daily lunch adventures. But after resisting this place for nearly a year I finally caved. And I glad i did. Fourleaf is nothing spectacular, its the little things that make the difference. The ingredients are all fresh and delicious, but that can be said about a lot of places. I am convinced that the reason this place succeeds is the actual chopping of the salad. All of your ingredients are diced up and tossed in your favorite dressing, yet they all manage to stay crisp and flavorful in the final product (its a process I have failed to replicate at home leading to some instances of salad porridge and puree . . .). The service is fast and friendly and the meal is reasonably prices. They lose 5 star eligibility because of A) the abysmal parking situation, B) The restaurant is the size of a small closet and gets VERY crowded and C) Its a salad place. Regardless, it has found its way into the rotation of tasty lunch spots during my week. Give it a try if your in the area. read more

I discovered this place when I was on my 3 weeks of hell cleanse. They actually make a really good salad here, and the dressings are excellent! I've now eaten here 3 or 4 times and everything's been very constent each time. (although once I waited in line about 10 minutes on a particularly busy day--I go a bit earlier now to avoid all the summer body dieters) They've got good service - I once ordered a dressing that the lady made me try to ensure I liked it. (I'll eat anything and told her so, but she insisted. I still liked it, but I can certainly see how some would find it overpowering--kudos in my book) Ingredients are fresh, the proteins are very tasty and actually seasoned well. They offer great crunchy croutons and black pepper as well. I think I've tried all their vinagrettes and they're all tasty as all get out. Can't miss here on the food. The environment...well that's another story. Cold, fake metal chairs and tiny tables, but I could care less...I usually get it to go anyway. read more
