I mean, it's a salad place, so there's not much to say. Kind of odd that they didn't have romaine, which is listed on the menu. I ended up doing a large create your own salad, with primarily spring mix (which isn't my favorite) and a little bit of shredded iceberg. Added my limit of four toppings, shrimp, along with a few more. Spicy jalapeño ranch was fine, I guess, but I might try something else next time, as spice was a bit uneven. Counter service was fine, I suppose, but I'm not sure they were any more excited to be there than I was. Subtracting a star because it was absolutely freezing inside. This is a chain specifically in Colorado I think. I love how you could customize every part of it. I love that it has edamame, nuts and seeds, as well as beets options. Their sherry molasses vinaigrette was sooo good. I didn't like the citrus hoisin sauce that much, it's too sour/salty for my taste. The piri-piri tofu was also really good, the dry seasoning flavoring was just the right amount of salt and flavor, and they were generous with the tofu. My husband got the southwest chicken but didn't get nearly as many pieces. Overall, we loved the quality and quantity of the salad. Filling, exciting, and nutritious. Craving a healthier lunch on this trip after eating bland airplane food and heavier options around town. I looked up salads (haha, I know but when you have a craving you gotta go after it!) and MAD Greens popped up. I was worried because it seemed like a chain restaurant. But my local friend told me they were really good and I should try it out. And now I'm a believer!! MAD Greens is awesome. Think Chipotle but for salads and wraps. I got the Siam I am and the mix of ingredients was perfect! Kale, spinach, pepitas, fried tofu, soy beans, and even quinoa. The "regular" salad was huge!! So if you are hungry go for the regular. I think the large would be way too big for 1 person. Would be an amazing deal if you're to share with someone else or even have at a lunch/dinner. My partner got the bacon wrap and it was also filled to the brim with veggies and quinoa. Everything was better than I could imagine. I believe my salad was only like $11 too. I've had hit or miss experiences here, but the last was unacceptable. I encountered a very sharp shard of plastic in my salad as I was eating it. I called the restaurant right away and was met with an offer to refund my order. More importantly, I stressed that they needed to appropriately handle all of the potential things that could have more shards, and they said they'll "do their best to make sure it doesn't happen again". That didn't instill confidence, nor did the very standard "that's not what we want our customer experience to be" response from corporate. Additionally, the quality of the ingredients in the kids Awesome Box was really poor-- Huge awkward chunks of poorly peeled, browning carrots and apples that were so oxidized they appeared to have been cut days ago; both left concerns about food prep and storage safety. read more

I tried this popular place for the first time and got a veggie wrap. It was made with fresh ingredients and delicious! The facilities were very clean, including the bathroom. Beets aren't Cooke or roasted. They're just raw and crunchy. Service is great. Salad tastes like chemicals (I had the kale and spinach). After adding 3 toppings it was $20. I was disappointed. Didn't feel healthy because I'm pretty sure the Greeks weren't organic. Just had a pesticide taste. Couldn't finish it. Other ingredients were ok. Overall poor value. read more

First time walk in customer and I was met with a very warm welcome & was offered a few options of their top picks. I ordered the Don Quixote salad and it was delish with fresh ingredients! A very lovely woman , she may have been the owner, cashed me out and knew this was my first time , Thanked me for my business and offered me a sample of avocado Hummus with pita slices , complimentary! Have gotten the Vibrant Venus salad quite a few times at this location, but have never had the red onions be in such large solid pieces. There seemed very little attempt to cut them in strips on this March 2023 visit. They were quite inedible and I didn't feel like re-slicing my fast food. I loved Mad Greens the first time I have ever tried it! However, tonight's order was very disappointing. We ordered the Annie Oakley. I took a couple bites to only taste ranch and lettuce. Then I opened my wrap to see if there was the other ingredients inside.. sadly, no. The wrap was made with only lettuce, bacon, and ranch. Had a custom salad, an Annie Oakley wrap, and a Mad Greens beet it juice. The salad was exactly what I wanted - no meat (bacon as one of the toppings though), my veggies and honey mustard dressing. The regular size salad was good - just the right amount of dressing and mixed well. The wrap wasn't wrapped well - it kept falling apart, but was good. The juice was good. Regular salad, wrap, and juice was $26 - shocked when they rang me up. Barring exotic ingredients, there's no way what I ordered should have cost this much out of a major metro area... read more

I'm a fan of Mad Greens concept however this Castle Rock location wasn't the cleanest from the open air prep table to the seating area. It seems that maybe I just happened upon this location at a bad time? Maybe the staff there isn't the best? Maybe they were crazy busy and didn't have the time to restock their produce and sweep the seating area correctly? Who knows-- but it appears that other Yelpers are finding this new Castle Rock location to be in the same condition as I did as you can read in other current reviews. My food was okay. I ordered the Edgar Allen Poe Salad with some Mad Spice shaken over the top= great as usual. The build out and design of this location is very relaxed with large windows letting in light and keeping a very open feel. New parking lot just across from Lowe's Home Improvement Store has plenty of spaces. Overall- a great design and location that just really needs better cleanliness and staffing. read more

While the food is great and I love mad greens, this spot needs some work. The line was very long and only one girl working it and The guy on the cash register kept disappearing. The person in back making sandwiches kept coming to the front for ingredients... she had waist long hair which was not pulled back and she kept flinging it over her shoulder around the food. They were so busy and overwhelmed that none of he tables were being bussed so if you chose to Dine in then you had to wipe off the crumbs and spills from those who ate before you. They need to work out the kinks and maybe hire a couple more people. read more
