Morfey's Cake is the best cake place in Seattle period. I've been going there for years now & never disappoints. The lady who bakes up everything is so nice. She does birthday cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, all kinds of cakes. If I say something is the best....you can take that to the bank!!!!

Morfey's is the best!! I'd gotten cupcakes here before and enjoyed them so 2 days before my birthday, I decided I wanted a cake after all and gave Morfey's a call. I left a voicemail in the morning and Erin called me back within the hour. She was enthusiastic and affirming (despite my tight timeline), providing suggestions and guidance for flavors and design, and 5 minutes later the cake was ordered. I came to pickup 2 days later and my almond cake with strawberry filling was perfect and beautiful. Everyone who tasted it asked where I got it! Morfey's is now my go-to for cakes in Seattle.

I got my cake from Morfey's for my February, 2025 wedding. I couldn't have been happier with the service and the end result! I actually had guests texting me in the weeks after the wedding to ask where we got the cake from because they loved it so much and wanted to be able to go to the same bakery for other events! The cake was so delicious and perfectly moist. I'm not even much of a cake person usually and considered going with pies for our wedding. I'm so glad I didn't! Working with Erin was lovely. We had a fun consultation, tasted different flavors, and talked through the custom design we wanted. The cake looked so beautiful. It was exactly what I had hoped for. Erin was easy to work with, upfront about her (exceptionally reasonable) prices, and was so genuinely interested in getting us exactly what we hoped for!

I cannot rave about Morfey's Cake enough! My work group has recently started celebrating team members birthdays each month. Erin has only ever been great to work with when I call. I let her know what we're thinking on the details of what we need and when and she just gets it done. And people LOVE it. The cakes always taste amazing. Of course timing is crucial because of when we need things. But Morfey's always comes through and we really appreciate everything

    Delicious

I had our wedding cake made for us at Morfey's Cake, and we were extremely pleased by the experience and result! They're a busy business, so we did give Morfey's ample time when booking our tasting and reserving the cake, and it all went smoothly! We called ahead and made the cake tasting appointment in advance, and had a fun time tasking cake samples (with coffee!) with Erin, and going over designs. We'd looked at Morfey's website and Instagram beforehand so had a good sense of what we wanted. We decided to buy our own cake toppers, but had Morfey's make the sugar flowers for us. Because we were getting married in Seattle and our cake was relatively small, we elected to pick up the cake ourselves and deliver it to save on the delivery fee. Made the reservation, the cake was ready on time, and it was well packaged for travel (it was defintely a 2 person job, even with our smaller cake, so bring someone if you decide to deliver it yourself). And wow, we were overjoyed by how beautiful the cake looked! It impressed our guests and was a beautiful decoration on the day of the wedding. And it tasted so good! It was delicious, flavorful, moist - some of the best cake I've had! We loved it! We're definitely going to use Morfey's for special occasion cakes in the future! Thanks Erin for making our wedding day that much more special!

I called and ordered a small cake for my son who is studying at UW and celebrating his first birthday away from home. They made a great cake and arranged for it to be delivered to his dorm on campus without any issues.

I'm new to Seattle and wanted to get a cake for my husband's birthday. I found Morfey's while looking on Apple Maps and I could not be happier I did. I ordered an 8" round yellow cake with chocolate buttercream and they had it ready on short notice. It tasted A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They are priced great too! I left the decorating up to them and they certainly delivered! I will be coming back again and again! *side note: I also bought a creme brûlée cupcake while I was picking up my cake and that was awesome too!

We just tried Morfey's for the first time and YUM. We ordered a chocolate Bavarian cake small round. The cake was moist, the filling was perfect. We definitely will be making Morfey's our cake place!!

Amazing! I walked in to see if the bakery had any cakes I could purchase and take, day of. They had one red velvet left. The baker (who was so nice), decorated it based on the floral examples I gave her. Not only was the cake gorgeous, it was delicious! Highly recommend for taste, look, service and price.

And I love her more after she said in an interview that she added more girly vibes after a man said her brand was too girly. What a grouch! I don't even think it's too girly. It's just happiness.

The place itself is very hard to find and park, it's a very small shop with a couple of tables, they should just remove the tables because it's Soo small. Service was fine, pretty standard. Foodwise: the display case was pretty confusing - they have a lot more signs up than the actual food itself, and the menu also shows more. What's even more confusing was the display case can be a little different than what you actually get (ie the funfetti croissant displayed shows a regular croissant shape, but what you actually get is like a pan au chocolat shape)... What we got: - ham and cheese croissant -- not enough filling, and pretty standard Guava Suisse --not enough filling again, good though. Overall, I'm glad to have tried it, but won't be going out of the way for it again anytime soon

He especially loved that it had just the right amount of mint flavoring without being toothpaste For breakfast, I ordered their fruit danish! I love that they had different options of fruit to pick from and I chose blueberry! The pastry was perfectly flaky and I loved how fresh the blueberry tasted. My boyfriend ordered the chocolate croissant because he was excited at the idea of the chocolate being piped through the croissant and also drizzled over the top, but it turns out the dark brown parts on top are just design and not more chocolate. Still, he was pleased with the amount of chocolate in the croissant and the bite I had was heavenly. The champagne cake caught my eye as I was ordering and I just had to try a bite, it was absolutely delicious and fresh. I loved how light the cake was and the layers of flavour through the whole dessert! I love how bright and airy the cafe is! My boyfriend and I were easily able to find seating by the windows and enjoyed the gorgeous view of the space needle and people watching as we shared breakfast. The staff here was also patient and welcoming. We'll definitely have to come back and try more of their pastries!!
