Our server, Niko, provided the best service I've ever received. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the oysters and took the time to explain everything to us. I'm not usually an oyster person, but thanks to his recommendations, I actually found some that I truly enjoyed! Niko was kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. His genuine enthusiasm and attention to detail made our evening so memorable. And the food... absolutely amazing! The mussels were incredible, and the bread and butter were to die for. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be recommending Elliott's to all of my friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Food was delicious: fried oysters, sourdough bread, salmon ( hubby's)...I had the halibut w caprese salad and a yummy polenta but unfortunately I didn't take adequate pics of the menu so I don't remember exact preparations etc...and it was a new menu so their website did not show the updated menu. But it was so so good!!! Prices were a bit high but I guess that's to be expected for a waterfront restaurant in this area ( very touristy)... will give them a 5 star rating anyway.

At first, I wasn't sure what type of cuisine the restaurant was trying to be. Given the name, I assumed it was French, but the menu felt more like a mix of different styles. I decided to order the Toulouse Burger. My thinking was that if a dish carries the restaurant's name, it should be one of their specialties. Fortunately, the burger was very good and I enjoyed it. The overall aesthetic is beautiful at first glance, but some details take away from the experience. For example, the TV mounted on the wall with visible wires and the speakers surrounding it felt out of place. The restroom could also have been cleaner. The towels by the sink were soaked and splattered with water. If it's difficult to keep them looking neat throughout service, a wall-mounted towel dispenser might be a better solution. That said, the restaurant was very busy, so it's understandable that keeping up with every detail can be challenging. My impression is that Toulouse wants to create an elegant European-style atmosphere, but in reality it feels more like an American-style restaurant with European influences. I think it would benefit from presenting itself a little more authentically rather than trying to project a level of sophistication that doesn't fully match the experience. A restaurant is at its best when it embraces what it truly is.

I walked in and decided to give them a shot. Try something easy ..I got the wonton soup with egg noodles.. the broth was umami and garlicky, and warmed up my soul. The wontons were nice and tender, flavored with shrimp and pork. It was like a warm hug. Hit the spot! Second, I ordered the crispy spicy fish. It was an extraordinary presentation even my Chef friend was delighted to see the culinary expertise of the Chef. And it was also very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. They were very welcoming. The decor of the restaurant is super upscale. It looks like a fancy club. This would be a great place to bring a first date. Overall I was super impressed and very happy that I stumbled into this delicious restaurant. 10/10

He offered great menu suggestions and shared the story behind the restaurant--his brother designed the space, and he built it with the help of friends, which made the experience feel even more special. The menu is Thai-forward with a few standout dishes from other Asian cuisines mixed in thoughtfully. The décor is gorgeous--an elevated, glamorous tribute to the water buffalo that feels bold yet refined. We ordered the Miang Kham, Crying Tiger, and Mango Salad. I always order Miang Kham when I see it since it's such a rare find, and this one was excellent. The Crying Tiger was tasty but came out more well done than the medium-rare we ordered. That said, we still finished it because the dipping sauce was fantastic and the purple-and-white sticky rice was delicious. The Mango Salad was beautifully prepared with shredded mango that had just the right crunch and tartness. Generous portions served. Even during a busy late afternoon, the chef handled guests with ease and a big smile, serving beautifully executed dishes and cocktails. Very impressive. We'll definitely be bringing friends here next time we're in Seattle. Tip: They do true Thai spice levels here--proceed with caution."
