Saw on Facebook that Madeline's was having a Sunday brunch 10-2 ‼ So we gave it a go and it was fabulous, either endless mimosas or sangria (u can alt.red or white) for $20 plus a cute little brunch menu! French toast, cheddar biscuits & gravy with potatoes or salmon & cream cheese on a bagel = D'Lish! Lexi our server was fantastic!

This place is super cute and the prices are reasonable and the food yummy. Huge wine selection and super cute Daytona has come a long way. Get the cheese board omg and they have vueve by the glass so delish and yummy with all the cheeses. Try the Cheve for sure. We will be back to try more. Great music too

Finally able to get in and see this new place. We're normally not down here later in the evening and this does not open at lunchtime. The ambience is very festive and fun. Service seems to be very pleasant with a very nice waitress. Plenty of options between wine as well as cocktails. The charcuterie boards are very hearty and well done.

My favorite constituent of The Cork Group (two members currently) was excited to learn we'd be trying the new Madeline's Wine Bar on Beach Street. Luckily I had a good idea where it was located because either the outside signage is small or non existent. Seating is dicey. There are two bars. The first one has stools that I was reasonably certain would implode if I risked sitting on them. Apparently I looked uneasy because the woman behind the bar quipped that many people have commented about the stools and they plan to replace them soon. The other bar has sturdier seats but no place for your knees. The rest of the seating is made up of various couches, side chairs, and a long dining room table. I'm sure it works well for groups but slightly awkward for couples. One positive I don't want to forget mentioning; there was plenty of help the day we visited. Some reviews have mentioned a lack of service attention. On this evening there were two employees prepping food, at least three perhaps four waiting tables / tending bar and management visited our table to check on us. This establishment is promoting itself as a wine bar. Keeping that in mind, I think the overall wine selection is lacking. Another negative would be prices. The two meat charcuterie board was tasty, probably had 30 items on it and was beautiful. But at $50 it seemed a bit steep. Something else that stood out requiring a special mention...the restrooms. Its not often my partner is so pleased with the ladies room that I include a picture of the facilities in my review...but as you can see its very nice and very clean. Props for the complimentary toiletries available should you run out of something while out for the night. Beach Street is beginning to become a destination again. Here's to hoping in the future we find better seating and a bigger wine selection at this recent addition to the neighborhood.

An absolute gem on Beach St. The food service & ambiance were all on point! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Looking for a place away from the beach zone and found this place. Nice space with good though not great wine list as dominated by major brands can find at most wine stores like rhaeburn Chardonnay and j vineyards Pinot noir. Food menu looked good. Salmon bites were a little heavy on bread and cream cheese. Recommend using smaller toasts like from a French baguette. Service was great as quickly cleaned off area we moved to when not happy with bar.

    Cheers ! Ladies night

It's a wine bar, not a sports bar. The place is so loud you can't hear the person sitting next to you.

There was almost no one in the place, yet we had to go to the bar after about 5 minutes to get seated. The bartender was also the server, and I got the idea also the owner. She never slowed down, to the point that you could not ask questions or get additional items. The atmosphere was very rushed. My wife ordered the shrimp and scallops and I ordered the bolonese. When our food arrived, the scallops were the tiny bay scallops that are not even a full bite. She was pretty dissapointed in this but it didn't say sea scallops so she didn't say anything. The bolonese was TERRIBLE. It was advertised as having meat sauce, there was no meat, it was not creamy at all.It taste just like hunts canned spaghetti sauce with nothing added. When I told the server it was not good, she snatched it off the table and took it to the back. No apology, didn't ask if I wanted anything else, just took it away. The cook did come out to ask what was wrong, when I said it taste like a can, he had no response, only asked if I wanted something else. I had to eat so I ordered the burger with fries. This came out fine, a little undercooked, but that is sometimes what you get when you order a medium burger. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. This is supposed to be a French place, there are very little French dishes, a lot of Italian dishes, and a decent burger. THis is not a place I would return to.

Let me start with this: I do not like wine…read more I've tried for years. I've ordered it at dinners, events, girls' nights... and I've rarely even been able to finish a glass. That's how much I typically dislike the taste. My preference? Sweet and fruity. Think Jolly Rancher candy. The only exception I've ever found was Ice Wine, which is rarely carried in restaurants or wine bars. So when we attended a work event here, I was honestly looking forward to the company more than the drinks. But I decided to be honest with our waitress. I told her I don't like dry wine, I prefer sweet, and asked if she had any recommendations. She introduced me to Sangue Di Giuda (Italy -- fruity, light, medium sweet, low alcohol)... and for the first time ever, I found a wine I genuinely enjoyed. I could actually sip it without making a face. At around $8 a glass, it felt very reasonable. They also offer full bottles for purchase, which I love as an option if you find something you enjoy. Beyond the wine, the atmosphere makes this place special. It's warm, relaxed, and perfect for conversation. It feels elevated without being stuffy -- the kind of place where you can linger and talk without feeling rushed. So this review is for two groups: * Wine lovers looking for a great experience * And the "I don't like wine but I'm here anyway" crowd Be honest about what you like. Let the staff guide you. You might surprise yourself like I did. We'll absolutely be back -- and yes, I'll be ordering the same glass again. Bonus: It's located in a plaza with great dinner options, so you can easily turn it into a full night out. We grabbed Greek food next door afterwards, and there's also Bronx House pizza at the end of the plaza if that's more your vibe (both are delicious!). Makes planning easy.
