That changed after a recent visit where a substitute crew member (not my regular cleaner) was sent to my home without notice, even after I emailed that morning to confirm my usual crew. I let the crew know I'd be leaving during the cleaning and asked them to leave through the back door (which is deadbolt only and impossible to lock from outside). Note: I've done many times before without issue. Instead, they locked both the back door and the front door, including the knob on my keyless entry front door, which should never be locked. I came home to find myself completely locked out during triple-digit heat. I waited 45 minutes for a locksmith and paid $120 out of pocket, and my front door was scratched during entry. While I was home, an expensive bottle of facial product was also broken during the visit. After a few email exchanges with the company where they did not seem to care about the customer experience, I asked for the issue to be escalated to management. I received a reply though it's unclear whether it actually came from someone in a management role. The company denied any responsibility for the locksmith cost and the broken facial product. Overall, there was no real customer service effort to make things right. I wanted to leave an honest review because three years of loyalty should count for something when something goes wrong. Be cautious when considering this company. if you're not going to be home, confirm exactly who is coming, and don't assume your usual crew will show up. Take pictures of anything out of the ordinary or broken since the company will not take the customers word.

I work remotely for a company that had an 11k square foot building that required several cleanings in the final weeks as interior renovations were finishing. I also needed a company that was willing to assist unpacking boxes and helping with "house" set-up, putting items away in rooms, cabinets, drawers. In addition, we needed wash/dry/fold of a large quantity of new bed sheets, bath towels and making up of the beds. Lenora and Herschell were both so wonderful to work with - very personable, professional, punctual and flexible. Lenora is highly organized and and along with Herschell, take personal pride in the work their team performs. They took great care to be sure the facility looked perfect for a scheduled photo & video shot. Plus, the entire team managed this project so graciously while following COVID-19 procedures. She cleaned the rest of the condo well as much as she could (I still have boxes and bins all over Lol) but took a little longer than I thought she would. Again, not a big deal. I suggested that she get a wagon or cart for next time because she was carrying all of her items and couldn't take out all of my trash. Overall, I would hire someone from Maid to Glow again.

There was a mix-up the first time and they did the basic pet treatment. But they came back, did the advanced (deeper) enzyme treatment I had originally booked, and refunded me for the hassle, which I really appreciated. Both times the techs were pleasant and efficient. I also appreciated that, prior to treatment, they used a black light to thoroughly assess the problem. One thing to know is that the smell can actually get worse for a few days after deep enzyme cleaning (which really surprised me!). Keeping the windows closed at first, then airing out, running two air purifiers on turbo, and vacuuming thoroughly really helped. Vacuuming is so important because it lifts leftover VOC particles that cause "ghost smell" even after enzyme treatment. I also used an odor powder (Rocco & Roxie) over the carpet, left it for 24 hours, then vacuumed again. Blocking off the area with aluminum foil and barriers helped stop my cat from re-marking the same spots too. In the end, Citrus Fresh helped me save my carpet. I'd recommend them -- just know to stick with it, ask for the advanced treatment and be patient if you have a tough pet mess like mine!

HIRE IMMEDIATELY!!! If a thorough, attention-to-detail cleaning is what you need, DO NOT waste your time combing the internet through other ads and businesses, hire Tanecia and her crew from Madison Avenue Cleaning for the job!!! I evicted a tenant from my property on a Monday, had all of the garbage, furniture, and rubbish removed from the property over the course of 2 full days, and then needed to turn the property around fairly quickly to show to a group of investors to potentially sell so it needed a full deep cleaning. I spent 3 days searching ads to find a reasonable and professional service before my Open House Sunday. I came across Madison Avenue Cleaning, texted Tanecia to solicit her services, she responded within the hour, and without even meeting her, I entrusted her to "do what she does...". I didn't even have running water in the place and she improvised and brought in water to use. She sent me pictures of the completed job, but the pictures didn't tell the true story. I went down to the property the following morning prior to the Open House, and I was amazed--stunned!!! The place was immaculate! Trust me, it was nothing even close to what it looked like when I evicted the tenants. This is a no-brainer; hire the team from Madison Avenue Cleaning for all your cleaning needs! I have never reviewed anything in my life. But as my first review here goes. I found this cleaning service by chance on Craigslist. I called, was pleasantly greeted by Madison. Shortly after going over her rates and services offered i booked an appointment. She showed up on time did an excellent job. And now i have her returning every two weeks. I hired them when I moved out of my last townhome, and they came to me within a day of my call and serviced the whole place for a very affordable and reasonable price, almost half of the lowest other competitor I found. Because they are a small independent operation, they are more flexible than anywhere else I've seen, and are extremely thorough and meticulous about their work. The place looked brand new when they were done. I've seen other companies clean and leave the details not completely taken care of, but Durden's got in the cracks and details, and even asked if there were specific areas I wanted special attention paid to. They swept the back deck without even reference to the outside on my part. They were also very kind and personable and easy to deal with. If you are looking for a dependable company to clean your apartment, home, business, et cetera, you aren't going to find a more adaptable and reasonably priced company than Durden's.
