My boyfriend ordered a Booker's for himself and an Eagle Rare for me. While he was in the humidor, our waitress informed him they were out of the Booker's and suggested Blanton's as a similar-priced alternative, which he agreed to. Later, he tried to order another bourbon in a similar price range based on the menu, but that was also unavailable, and E.H. Taylor was suggested instead. In both cases, pricing for the substitutions was not discussed, and neither substitute was listed on the menu we were given (via QR code). Service was minimal after ordering. Our waters were not refilled, and it took multiple attempts to get the waitress's attention despite it not being very busy. We eventually had to ask the hostess for help getting the check. The total for three bourbon pours came to $141 before tip. The receipt showed $30 for Eagle Rare (listed at $22 on the menu), $35 for Blanton's, and $65 for E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof. The main concern was the lack of clear pricing or menu visibility for the substitutions at the time they were recommended. A friend at the table was told, after ordering a second bourbon on the rocks, that ice cubes are $2, which was not listed on the menu. We didn't raise concerns before paying, because we didn't want to make a scene and were hoping to just finish the last part of the evening on a positive note. After paying, our server came back to ask if everything was okay, and the concerns about pricing were briefly shared. The response was that prices are not typically discussed when suggesting alternatives so as not to be offensive. Regarding atmosphere, the space itself is visually well done, but the room was noticeably smokier than expected for a cigar lounge with air circulation. Staff also appeared to be dressed more casually than anticipated for the setting. Overall, while the venue has a strong initial impression, the lack of communication around pricing and substitutions, combined with limited service and inconsistency in execution, made this a frustrating way to end an otherwise great night.

They have an upstairs, which I got to experience on this night, it was VIP area. I found out they have free coat check when you are in the VIP area which is convenient. The bar upstairs is really pretty, bartenders are quick and serving. It was pretty busy on this night, but they were attentive, and I didn't have any issues receiving my drinks or getting water which is a plus. The seats at the upstairs bar are comfy. Needing a lighter for the cigars is not a problem in this area, which is nice because usually downstairs they charge. It's a different vibe upstairs, so it was nice to experience it for the first time. They have a whole section to buy cigars which is neat. I don't know much about cigars, but I like browsing and learning. I'm not a big cigar person, but I'll sample it. I like the sweet ones. Restrooms are downstairs, and I really admire the women's restroom here, it's beautifully designed. Parking to get here is street or paid lot parking. We paid $20 to park at a lot across the street. Good music, good drinks, and good vibes--I enjoyed the night.

I can't believe I've never reviewed the Antelope Club before!…read more A unique mix of private club, restaurant, bar and cigar lounge, the Antelope Club was on our short list of hangouts before we moved from Indianapolis in 2019 and we still make it a stop every time we return. First off, the place is huge. You can always find just about whatever sort of atmosphere you're looking for in here. Want to sit at the bar? Do it! Want a patio with some people watching? Head upstairs and watch all the people turn the wrong way on Delaware. Want a table to sit at and enjoy some food? Plenty of that too! The staff here is amazing and always takes great care of their guests. Great bar and food prices as well. The food is solid and consistent. We've never had a bad meal here. For those cigar lovers, they have a humidor with a wide variety of cigars to choose from and everything you need to enjoy them. The Antelope Club is a private members' club. However, they do open their doors for lunch on weekdays. Stop in, give it a try and if you like it (you will), join up at the bar!

Membership here is $200 annually and you get perks like full access to this club, free parking while in the club and access to events. I really love this place. It is a cool place to hang out. The staff, members and patrons are very welcoming and friendly. This is a historic place that happens to be a diamond in the rough. I hope that I have not let the cat out of the bag too much about this place. I want to keep it to myself.

Well, that morning Sherman was at black owned boutique wine shop call B Legendary, and the owner is Carmen Randolph. I love exploring new wines, and visiting local wine shops, as well as wine boutiques. Yesterday, Saturday Oct 23rd I invited my sister-in-law, and friend checkout B Legendary Wine Boutique. When, you go to the B Legendary Wine Boutique website, you'll subscribe, and then you'll get a free wine tasting. The location is on the far East side, and not too far from Daniel's Vineyard. Upon, entering inside there's a sign outside her building about the tasting wine hours along with the new flavors to taste. Walking in the wine boutique shop there are no stairs, small yet felt very warm, and home like. The decor in the wine boutique shop is so pretty, the owner Carmen Randolph does offer small bottles of wines, and big bottles. The shop did open in mid 2019, not only can you go to B Legendary Wine Boutique for wine, but the wine shop also offers candle making classes. The wines that Carmen make the ABV are on higher in from 12% to 16%. When, you subscribe you'll get that free wine tasting of 5 selected wines of your choice. I had pineapple, lemon drop, pear, peach, and blackberry lime. In, additional I did taste new flavors carmel Apple, and orange krush. The bathroom is small, yet very clean as well nice decor.
