My favorite thing to do on a Saturday is go to a new coffee shop. So was excited to try this coffee shop in Fortville. I love the location. Fortville has an adorable downtown. The coffee shop is located in a really cute building. It was really busy when I arrived. The line was almost to the door. The shop is not very big. There isn't much seating and when you are waiting on your order it's hard to find a place to stand. I ordered an iced salted maple latte. It did take awhile to get my coffee, but I could tell everyone was working as fast as they could. I loved the cans the iced drinks come in. My latte was really good. It was one of the better lattes I have had in a while. It was worth the wait. I really want to come back and try an Espresso Martini.

REALLY liked Toasty Ember. It is located in the adorable town of Fortville, IN - right off the Main Street. The shop is spacious but cozy. I got the salted maple latte and it was delicious!!!!

Love, love, love this little coffee shop in Fortville. It has such a warm and cozy feel inside, the barista behind the counter was so sweet and welcoming. And the espresso had the best flavor, smooth and rich, the homemade syrups are so delicious. I also absolutely love the cans they come in!

Found this shop on my route to work. Small , cozy, shop with a unique menu. Service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the Sapfire coldbrew: smoked sea salt, smoked vanilla, cayenne, coalwater, and maple cold foam. Well balanced and fill flavor! One of the most unique coffees I've had in awhile. Like sipping a bonfire on a beach. The cookies and muffins looked yummy and I read they are housemate. Looking forward to checking out more of their menu.

Make your way out to main street in Fortville to visit this adorable house style coffee shop. Great Italian influences, house made syrups using monk fruit to provide a more natural sugar so drinks are not overly sweet. Even indulge in an espresso martini or Irish coffee. Super tasty hot served stratas with gluten free options and fun fresh bakery choices. They were very busy for a Sunday morning but the staff were working diligently as a team, making sure customers got their drinks just right and keeping up a great pace. I can't wait to go back and try more!

Right on Main Street, this place seems very popular with locals. Staff was courteous. Coffee was tasty. Interesting chandeliers on the porch and inside.

10/10 -- absolutely obsessed with Toasty Ember Coffee Cafe! It may be on the smaller side, but the cozy atmosphere, incredible service, and standout drink menu more than make up for it. The location is charming, and their drink options are impressive--from dirty sodas and hot chocolate to classic and creative coffees. Espresso martinis coming soon? Yes, please. This spot instantly became one of my favorites after a local recommendation, and it did not disappoint. Plus, many of the drinks come in the cutest cans. A must-visit for sure!

But I'm so glad I was hungry and ordered the lasagna. It's a decent amount of food and I think it was the best Lasagna I've ever had. Seriously. Melted in my mouth and the texture and flavor was amazing. All the pasta and sauces are made in house and I could taste the difference. Delicious. My SO had been thinking about their linguine and clams and was not disappointed. There were fewer clams than the last time (granted it's been a long while now) so it's best for a lite appetite. Service was good and the owner stopped by as well ... from Italy and these are home recipes. Looks like they recently installed new carpet which was nice. Love all the framed pictures especially in the back room. This restaurant is perfect for a special occasion, or an intimate dinner, or for just when you want some authentic great Italian food.

It was hopping on a Friday night. I had been wanting to come here for a long time.. Everyone I know says this place is really good. This is a 3.5 star review. The bruschetta was 4 pieces and soggy. It was also 15 dollars. They don't serve table bread for free so I ordered some for $4 and it was about 5 1/2 slices of the same bread they used for the bruschetta. It was served with a bowl of oil with balsamic vinegar. I also asked for my pasta to be saucy and the waitress looked at me and she said, do you mean you want extra sauce? So for $2 extra I feel I got a normal amount of sauce so I'm not sure what a regular amount looks like. Unfortunately the pasta was pre-denté. Everyone else's dishes were steaming hot and the pasta was visibly able to be twirled around a fork. Mine was warm and I had to cut it with a spoon and fork just to get it separated for many bites, which were very chewy, almost hard. The ragù was fine. The atmosphere was nice for dinner. I read some other reviews and they are definitely mixed. One of my friends who had been before warned me after I was excited to initially try the cheese wheel pasta, to be careful. She said hers was wet and vodka flavored, so I didn't get it. Similar reviews said the same. I will say the calamari was some of the best I've had lately. Not chewy at all and a lovely light batter, served with tomato sauce. I did find it odd that the sauce was cold. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their meals so this gets the 3.5 stars.

I order guacamole, but also tried the ceviche and cauliflower - all good! I was impressed by the ceviche. I got the taco salad for my entree. It was just okay for me. We sat at the bar and were very well taken care of by Christian, who provided excellent service from start to finish. I decided to order the empanadas, guac, and churros from the happy hour menu. Everything was $5/each. I went with the steak empanadas, cuz unfortunately you can't mix and match flavors. For me, the texture was a bit off. Christian noticed my hesitation right away and kindly offered to replace them. He brought out the chicken empanadas instead, and they were much better. Not phenomenal, but enjoyable. My classic margarita was refreshing... until the manager offered me a sample of the Carriage House margarita. Whew! Yaaaass! That was deliciously potent! Easily two drinks in one, so pace yourself. It has officially become my new go-to leaded bev when dining here. If paella is your thing, I'd absolutely recommend it. That's usually my standard order. But just a heads up... sometimes it can be a lil like my friend when my outfit is cuter than hers - salty! So, you may find yourself needing another margarita to help balance your palate. And don't forget to add to your Cunningham rewards!!!! 1000 points equals a $100 gift card.

Two of us added a side wedge salad We were very satisfied. The sliders are just the right size, easily manageable and the taste was excellent. The breading could have been a tad more crisp, but it was fine. The buns were a tad larger that the tenderloin, but we were happy with the portions. There are 3 sliders with the combo and we actually split two order among the 4 of us. Adding the salad was wise as we all were quite satisfied One order came with fires and we had the onion 'straws' with the other. The variety was nice and made us enjoy the total order better. Our server was great and made sure we got our Tenderloin Trail discount up front. Couldn't have been more accommodating! We sat inside as it was miserably hot and humid outside. The indoor seating was nice and pleasant. We were surprise that the restaurant wasn't busier on the night we were there, but we heard that the turnout for other places was lower on that night due to the heat. We were very happy that we went and that we chose Wolfiea in Geist to start the trail. We truly enjoyed the fries and the salads.

Sorry no pic of those as we were all hungry and dug right in. These were good. Not the best I've had, but I'm originally from a coastal state, so tough bar to reach. One in our party had the fish and chips. She said they were good, nice and hot. Breading was a little thick, but tasty. Another in our party had the baja shrimp tacos along with the jalapeño creamed corn. Said both were very good. I tasted the creamed corn and it was excellent Finally I had the Wolfpack Supreme pizza. Very tasty, fresh toppings and very crispy crust. Could have used just a bit more sauce for my taste, but was still excellent. Parking was easy and the view was worth the trip. Service was very fast and courteous.
