Westfield Wine Vault is AMAZING! The Vault carries wines from all over the world and that you can't get in liquor stores or other local restaurants. I was there this week with a business contact from Amsterdam who goes to France often. She couldn't believe how many French, Italian and Spanish wines were on the menu. People who appreciate great wine will appreciate the diverse selection of wines that are unavailable at other places. The red wine menu includes red wine from new world and old world. Their menu has red wine from Argentina, Portugal, South Africa, France, Italy, Spain, Chile, New Zealand and US (not just CA.) The white wine list includes wine from many of the same countries plus Germany, Greece, Hungary, Austria. (I am sure there are countries I missed!) And then there is my wine of choice...sparkling! Restaurants typically only offer a couple of bubbly choices on their menus...Vault has pages of sparkling from France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Greece, England and US including Oregon and California. There are over two dozen champagnes (true champagne.) The Vault is always trying and adding new wines to the menu! It never gets stale as there are always new bottles to try. The staff is fantastic! They will spend time helping you find the best wine for you based on your preferences, likes and dislikes. Staff goes out of their way to make customers feel welcome! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The main bar area and upstairs Bordeaux room have comfortable siting areas with couches and soft cushioned chairs. Patrons are usually friendly and social. It is a wine "bar" not wine "restaurant" so they do not serve large meals (except for special event wine & food pairing events.). The charcuterie boards are the best around (and I order a cheese plate everywhere that serves them.). The grilled cheese is spectacular. The menu changes monthly and desserts are always "to die for!" Events and wine education classes with tastings are offered often. These are not the "try a few wine samples" tastings found elsewhere. They are educational, fun and come with heavy pours! If you have not been to the Westfield Wine Vault, you are missing out. Visit the Vault and experience it for yourself. You won't be disappointed! read more

Really been looking forward to going here and trying their wine. One of the employees told me that they carry over 130 wines! I went with a white flight, which came with four white wines and a glass of bubbly! Although I had initial sticker shock at the price ($30), it's a LOT of wine! I really enjoyed it and had a wide variety of tastes included. I did not try any of their food but two friends got their grilled cheese and they smelled INCREDIBLE. This is my new favorite hangout! It's about time we got a decent wine bar in Westfield. (No cotton candy or PB&J wine here, lol!) I cannot say enough good things about this place. They have amazing wines from all over the world, and they offer multiple wine flights so you can try a variety of wines. The owner, Andy, is welcoming and friendly and really knows his stuff when it comes to wine, though he never comes across as a "wine snob" at all. I love the atmosphere with comfy seats, big windows, and giant wine maps I can nerd out to downstairs and more seating and an amazing private room space upstairs. They have a decent charcuterie board and some other good food items, though the menu is definitely focused more on wine than food (as it should be in a wine bar). They have dessert wines, too. It has multiple rooms and seating options and is a convenient location North of the city. They have a huge selection of wine available, as well as a few other drinks for those who aren't into wine, and an incredibly knowledgeable staff happy to share. The wine flights are also fun to try different new wines. You can also take bottles to go if you find one or more you like, plus a great wine club. We talked through the menu, and what makes them different from other wine bars. We ended up settling on a cozy sofa in the corner of the Bordeaux room - one that can be rented out for private parties. All of the elegant and vintage touches in the decor are incredible. The one star deduction is for the service. Things were very slow. I'm sure that's because they just opened and are working out the kinks, but I thought it best to make note of it anyway. I don't understand the glowing reviews of this place, as my husband and I were not at all impressed with our experience here. We both ordered the Dry Red Wine Flights. Of the 5 terribly overpriced wines we were served, we only even slightly cared for one of them. The palate and flavor range of our offerings was flat and boring. Even worse was the charcuterie board they put together. Not only was there no creativity whatsoever, it truly was on par with a $3 Lunchable. Not a single imported or gourmet ingredient to warrant the hefty price. Our server was friendly enough, but didn't have anything to teach us about wine (which is what this establishment loves to say about themselves) and was clearly working overtime to try to upsell us rather than create an enjoyable experience. We left hungry, feeling robbed and extremely disappointed. Finished our date night at home with a delectable bottle of wine from our own cabinet and paired it with our own excellent imported cheese and crackers from Aldi. For their own sake and for the sake of our city, I hope WWV learns to step up their game; however, we won't be caught making the same mistake twice. read more

I'm ashamed to admit that I live in Westfield and had no idea about this spot until recently. I made a reservation via Open Table for 6 the Thursday before Christmas for a group of cousins to get together before our respective family holiday events - when we found out that 2 additional guests would be joining the staff responded quickly via text and updated our reservation. Andy greeted us at the door and gave us an overview of the place and then took us upstairs to our table. He was helpful in explaining the various wine flights as well as other offerings for non-wine drinkers. Several of us tried different wine flights; the flights come with 5 different kinds of wine and they easily totally 2.5 glasses - very generous pours. Our group also indulged in various food items like the charcuterie board, flat bread pizzas, grilled cheese & more. Everyone enjoyed both the food and drinks. To end the evening we all shared a bottle of a chocolate dessert wine that our waitress suggested we have served heated. The suggestion was a hit, it tasted like an adult hot chocolate - it was creamy, rich and the perfect ending. I even bought a 2nd bottle to take home! All of the staff is energetic, helpful and offered good service. We did notice that it got a bit loud upstairs once the place filled up, but that's minor compared to all the other great things. What a fun place! I went with a group of women and we loved Wine Vault. We were upstairs in the private room. There was comfortable seating and it was perfect for having conversations. You pick from different flights of wines to try. You can choose by white or red, pick a blind flight, and a couple others. Our sever Omi was awesome! He was very personable and attentive.
