I am so glad this place is open. Their Chicken pad thai is the best. Curry duck also is excellant, the curry is a good spice and the duck is nice and juicy. What I love about this place is that they are always consistent on taste and the portions are good. We eat here weekly! read more

Horrible customer service. Food was bland. When we tried to ask for assistance we were met with rude servers who were put out by asking for water after 20 minutes. Restaurant was barely half full and no one deserves to be treated so poorly. read more

Tried it! Tasted great! Pretty sure wife and I both got food poisoning from the pad Thai. Never been so sick. I only know it was the pad Thai cause it was the only food we ate that none of our other family had. No one else came down with any issues. read more

The bar tender, sushi chef, and one of the cooks who was coming in and out were NOT wearing masks. The hostess was only covering her mouth, leaving her nose exposed. There is no sign on restaurant that says Masks Required. Isn't this a Ohio State law?? I did online order. My food was supposed to be ready at 6:13pm (25 minutes after placing order). At 6:45pm my food still wasn't ready! So I told them to cancel and refund me my money. Which they did. They didn't even try to apologize. read more

Had best Tofu Pad Thai ever. My wife had mixed appetizer and she lovthink Mae Ploy is best Thai restaurant in Dayton area. Service outstanding and owner comes around and asks if everything is ok. Decorated vey well and love small dining rooms. Also has a nice bar and has full liquor license 2nd visit and had another outstanding dinner. My wife had her favorite Mae's appetizer and I had Sashimi with sticky rice. 15 pieces for $20. Very fresh and was outstanding. Best Sashimi since I was in Japan. You must try this Thai restaurant. Mae Ploy is a great addition to downtown Lebanon! The staff were friendly, the service was fast and the food was phenomenal! We tried the vegetable roll (loved the broccoli in it, definitely something different), yellow curry with tofu (great flavor, the mild was even a little spicy for me - but I think everything is spicy!), chicken pad Thai (excellent!) and the mango sticky rice (amazing!). The sticky rice was a purplish color which was something I hadn't seen before but had the same flavor as the regular sticky rice. I can't wait to go back and try more things! read more

The quality of the food is very very good. Just be warned that anything with "curry" in it is going to be very very spicy, even if you ask for spice level zero, or "no spice please," if it's a curry dish, it's coming back at you at about level 3 or 4 minimum...has to do with the kind of curry they routinely use in Thai dishes, so they apparently can't adjust like an Indian restaurant can. read more

Visited with good friends on the Sunday before the 4th of July. First timer. Immediately struck by the energy from the waitstaff. Red, White, and Blue headbands, ties, shirts. Studied the very diverse and exciting menu, and on the back was the owner's story of her immigration to the US. Full stop. Time to reflect on the experience. This family and this restaurant will not only satisfy your gastronomic desires, but they will teach you about American Exceptionalism. Wow, that was great!! The food was wonderful, and the service was terrific. We had dinner family style, tom kha (a really delicious soup), mini spring rolls and potstickers as appetizers, then Pad Thai, Massaman curry and ginger stir fry. All were really good, but I think the curry was my favorite. To top off the evening, we had the Thai custard and the fried banana and ice cream. Both were good, but if you go, try the Thai custard. It is a difficult taste to describe, a bit like rice pudding but not too sweet. Also, Juliane was a great server, very helpful and attentive. All in all, this was an incredible meal!! read more

AMAZING! We have only gotten carryout so far due to pandemic. I got the tom kha soup (that majorly helped relive an intense inflammation!) i added shrimp. My boyfriend got the pineapple fried rice. These both were BEYOND PERFECTION i highly recommend either of those meals and be careful with your spice level, OH YES! This restaurant finally turns up the heat, i got a level 2 and felt some spice thinking it would be completely mild. My boyfriend got LEVEL 5 and ya he about had to drink our ranch out of the bottle Our large family loves to have a night of pad thai from here every so often! Stopped in last weekend for lunch a half hour before they closed. They were very friendly to us even though I know they were probably annoyed by us. We ordered some crab ragoons, combination pad thai and pineapple fried rice. My fiance loves pad thai and hasnt been able to find a thai restaurant that has good pad thai. this place he loved. We stopped in here on Christmas Eve, we beat the rush, probably arriving around 2. We ordered the spring rolls, the Tom yum soup (one vegetarian, one with chicken), a vegetarian basil fried rice and a curry, also just veggie, but upgraded for sticky rice. The spring rolls were good. The soup was amazing. We ordered the entrees at a 2-3 out of 4, but asked for additional chili oil that we used all of. The rice we could have easily gone for a 4. The curry (started with a p) was amazing! But the portion of sticky rice was a bit sparse, I would double up. We were the only ones there when we left..but our service never lacked, our food was great and piping hot. Our oolong tea was outstanding. I will definitely be back, but probably order everything at a 4, with additional oil. (FYI..we had one who wouldn't eat meat, and one who wouldn't eat tofu...so all shared entrees were veggie).
