This quaint place nestled in the heart of downtown is a true gem! From the moment you walk in you're greeted by sweet people at the counter and as you look around the decor truly fits the vibe of historic downtown! It has the best sandwiches around and the selection makes it hard delicious decision! I think no matter what you get you'll great a wonderful handcraft sub made with love and top notch ingredients! The flavor alone of the meats really let you know they take quality seriously. Don't just walk past this cute sandwich shop!

This is the first time we have been here and it did not disappoint. The inside is decorated in classic Fredericksburg and is a great place to eat and look at all the decorations. The staff were patient, we took our time to look at the menu. I took photos of the menu right below. The meatball sub is excellent. The meatball tasted like they were made fresh and the bun was delicious too. My son ordered the number 15 which he liked very much. So far this is a great sub shop to visit and we will come back again. This shop was downtown but I see they have one by Ollies in Spotsylvania, which we will try that one next.

The food was good. Service was great. The deli meat they use is great! It's not for everyone in our party, so definitely look at the menu before you go ... no refills on the house root beer, and only bottled drinks.

I finally dropped in and couldn't have been happier I finally tried Maggie's! After asking the cashier what she recommended, I went with their #1, which is basically an Italian, though they have another sandwich (the "51st") that has additional meats on it. The bread was SO FRESH! So much so that I want to know where they get their bread from. The hoagie was just right: lettuce, tomato, oil and spices, and mayo. Maggie's sells bottled drinks and they also have a soda fountain. Seating inside is somewhat limited but, in warmer weather, there's outdoor seating. I'll definitely be back!

This would have been a 5/5 but need to give 4 stars because the bread was just way too soggy. I opened it right when I got in store and usually it will get soggy after a while when you order it to go, but for the bread to be as wet and soggy as it was when I just got the sandwich was a bummer. The high rating is for the insane amount of meat in this sandwich. For the same price as say Potbelly/ Jersey Mike's, the amount of Italian meats in this sandwich compared to others was definitely worth the price of $10.50. Overall flavorful I would just ask for the Italian dressing on the side next to avoid the wet bread. Service was fast and restaurant decor fit the vibe. I appreciated the candy cane treat tied the sandwich for the holiday season!

Good local sandwich place. We had the meatball and #9 subs. Staff were very friendly. Outdoor seating is in an adorable back courtyard.

Root beer, cream soda and ginger ale on tap! Best Rueben ever with a hint of mustard in the homemade sauce !

Food is good. Ample fillings. Small seating at the Courthouse Rd store. Very quick service and their homemade cream soda is fantastic.

Took a trip down to Maggie's this afternoon with my Pookie. Was swept off my feet by the exquisite customer service, the homemade cream soda, and the menu options. Staff was oh so welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. Not only that, I can't believe how clean and classy the Maggies was-can we get a round of applause for the decor please I am looking forward to making a trip back down to FBURG soon, we are so sad to have missed, Ben. We hope to catch him next time. PS. Ben, Phil & Rach are so incredibly proud of you and the name you've made for yourself. Keep working hard, we'll see you in every street corner soon

Doesn't really look good. Ordered the Reuben and onion rings to share. Reuben's are typically very large. This was a small Reuben and for sure could have eaten the entire thing. Onion rings were a bit soggy and table didn't like their fries either. The Reuben, though small, was very good. Service was quick and waitress was nice. The place is quite expensive for wha you get. We got 3 sandwiches, 2 with fries and 1 with onion rings, 2 waters and a sprite. It was $52. I think that is a bit high especially looking at size of sandwich but the were delicious.

The food is always spot-on. I have had several opportunities to go in on weekdays as well. The general vibe is slower, though the food comes out fast. Always several clusters of retirees and several pairs of business folks talking in hushed tones. On these days, even if you haven't been in in months they make you feel like a regular. This is Yelp, so I need to recommend a few things to order. Their chef salad is HUGE. The club sandwich is a great offering. And the one you'll skip over but shouldn't is the Adkins Special, which is 3 eggs and 2 meats (or 2x one meat) -- no bread, no fruit, no potatoes. Sometimes you just need to go all proteins! Anyway, all of these are great options. Also, their "numbered" deli sandwiches are all good choices. We remain regulars. Although I have only checked in about 40 times we are there at least twice a month. If you see me come say hi!
