Hands down the best Thai food in the Treasure Valley without a doubt! We tried so many things and the portions were fantastic. We have never seen Pork Ribs in Panang curry, and it was amazing! My boyfriend and I ate here last night and I have a few things to say. First of all, there was flavor in one of our dishes and barely any in the other. We got the see ew which had great flavor, but the meat was very hard to eat so I gave it to my boyfriend who said it was just okay but edible for him at least. The other dish we got was the cashew chicken which I've had at many places before where it was phenomenal, here not so much. Everything felt very thrown together with no real consistency and overall flavor. We would not eat here again. If you are stopping my Boise and you're looking for great Thai food, go to thai bistro. We try other places when they're closed, like we had to do yesterday, but we haven't found anything that compares to them here in Boise. read more

Great lunch today with hubby and mom-in-law. My first Thai meal which was predictably the chicken pad Thai. Delightful server Mia encouraged my husband to try the grilled salmon penang curry, which he did. It was a beautiful salmon steak in the curry sauce. We ended up bringing a bit of both home as the servings were very generous. I also tried the chicken satay which came with peanut sauce and pickle salad. Very good. Mom-in-law just had the spring rolls which she loved. We will definitely be back and have Mia suggest some more fun things to try! read more

The only reason I'm leaving a 4 star review is because my husband has ordered a couple of weird dishes that weren't so great lol. The poached chicken is nasty tbh. We were craving some Thai food so we checked out this place! The staff is very friendly, service was a little slow but the ambience was nice. There was jazz music on but would have loved to listen to Thai music as we enjoyed our meal! Love the decorative plants in the restaurant, very clean and comfortable. We ordered pad see ew beef and Tam Tad set which is a platter of wings, Esaan sausage, pork rinds, with papaya salad with vegetables and noodles for garnish. Also had to get a side of sticky rice for this! Sausage was delicious! Bursting full of flavor from the lemon grass and herbs you would expect! The wings were very tender but bland for me. The papaya salad was superb with long beans, carrots, noodles, and spices. The papaya salad had a fresh crisp and was refreshing! The pad see ew beef was wonderful as well, lots of flavor with tender pieces of beef! Our desert was the coconut ice cream with purple sticky rice in coconut milk! Fabulous and full of flavor! My husband and I went for lunch during their shift opening and it's was delicious! He got the Pad Kha Pow, I got the pumpkin curry, and some summer rolls to share. Everything was so delicious and the perfect portions for lunch! We got some coconut ice cream with black sticky rice for dessert. It had some crumbles peanuts on top and was amazing, we had never tried it before. It was a little tricky to cut through the sticky rice since the ice cream made it so cold but otherwise it was perfect. We live in a large city, known for good food, which has an abundance of Thai restaurants. Today, I had the best tasting Thai food since my travels in Thailand. Moreover, there is something about the ambiance which encourages calming down and chatting. This was evident from several other patrons doing as we found ourselves doing. This was our first visit to Maggie Thai Kitchen. The restaurant has a great feel and atmosphere. The servers are very nice and accommodating. We ordered 3 entrees for the 2 of us so we could get a good feel for things. Pad Kee Mao - level 5 Sweet n Sour Plate - level 3 And Pork Fried Rice. This was basic but had chili sauce on the side. Pad Kee Mao was good but needed extra spice even from a level 5 Sweet n Sour Plate need to be level 5 plus would be better with fresh pineapple not canned The pork fried rice to me was a bit boring with no spice but still good once I added red pepper flakes and chili sauce to it. Also need fresh veggies not canned or frozen. It was a good experience and we will return to try again. I know in the world we live in today it's tough to keep the prices low and have all fresh ingredients. Lastly the pricing is good and fair for what you get to eat and for a meal like this for 2 being under $60 with the tip is amazing. read more

This place is amazing! The smell when you walk in is delicious and inviting and you know you'll get good food! I spent a lot of time in Thailand and a kid and this place really brought me back. They really know what they're doing. We had the Pad Kee Mao and Green Curry and it was all amazing! The staff is super sweet and attentive and we barely had to wait for our food at all.
