Our server was rude from the moment she took our order to the moment we got our bill. My friends and I don't usually like going to the manager when we have a horrible server, but we had to today. The manager told us he's sorry we had a horrible experience and he hopes we are willing to try this place again....I've had better management experiences at arcades and Maggie's Farm isn't cheap enough to get rude customer service. read more

He came over to our table of 3 and asked us to hurry it up because he wanted to seat customers who were waiting. When he came over to our table we hadn't even gotten our bill yet. Wait List Sucks waited 1 hour and the hostess only had a high top table. I informed her that we preferred a lower table. She indicated it would be a few more minutes for a low top. Waited an additional 30 minutes no text or communication. We proceeded to go back into the restaurant. The hostess apologized that she had nothing available. The tables were not turning over. I've been coming here for some time now. The service is always great and so is the food. I've been coming here specifically because I am vegetarian and they're the only business in the area that makes veggie burgers that are good. The Southwest Veggie Burger was phenomenal and I am very disappointed that they took it off the menu and switched to Beyond Meat. It just seems like a cheap substitute. read more

Ordered: two cluck N clubs the same way, under sandwiches on the menu. Came as a wrap. On the phone I asked for no bread and no onions. "Sure" was the answer. 10 minutes later I get a call back saying it comes as a wrap so they weren't sure what to do. I asked for the sandwich on lettuce, which was not a possibility. Decided to keep it on the wrap to minimize confusion and just dump it out myself. When I get there to pick it up, I am told the onions "can't be removed, is picking them out yourself ok?" Typically an indication of a frozen/premade meal. Would not have ordered from here if this was the case. Paid for the meal, tried to let it go, and opened my order. Described as having mayo. Not true either. Though there may have been mayo in the spread, it was not only mayo. Due to dietary restrictions, couldn't eat it. Poor communication and poor description of food on the website. Very disappointing because the sit down service is excellent, but this experience was a one star rating. read more

Great service. Decent food. We like coming here with kids. Their burgers, steak bombs, and sushi rolls (yes, sushi rolls) are delicious. Definitely try their tater tots. Excellent choice of beers as well. We've been here several times and we'll continue to come back in the future. But I have a small compliant about their sashimi bowl... For $17, you get three long pieces of raw fish (I got yellow tail) and sad looking pickled cucumbers and carrots. The rice is subtly seasoned mixed with pieces of nori and sesame seeds. And the fish was really fishy tasting and didn't taste fresh. I expected so much more than this sad looking bowl of rice. Remove this item from the menu altogether and replace it with a Poke bowl. That would be my recommendation. Otherwise, we enjoy coming here and most of the food they serve are really great. read more

We stopped at Maggie's Farm for a late lunch recently as a party of 6. We were told there was a 20 minute wait when we arrived, by a young hostess who did not appear pleased with the size of our party. The restaurant itself was lovely and appeared to have a lively, vibrant atmosphere. Just the type of spot we had hoped to find. Unfortunately, said hostess returned to say that the wait was now 45 minutes because we had such a big group. (??) This was the first of our service issues. Once seated our server was unfriendly, impatient and abrasive. She was snappish when asking how many waters we wanted in addition to our other beverages. Sodas and wine took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. She was just incredibly unpleasant, and seemed to want to be anywhere else but there. Now for the plus side....the food. We ordered mussels and nachos to start. Both were served hot and delicious. The nachos were among the best we had ever had. For meals we had steak tips, cooked perfectly, full of flavor and tender. Boneless chicken "bites" were hand breaded and tasty with a sweet chili type sauce. Homemade tater tots were giant, and filled with scrumptious cheesy potatoes. Sushi rolls and Shepherd's pie was also a hit. We planned on staying for coffee and dessert, but it was not offered, unfortunately. We couldn't find our server to ask and she eventually just dropped the check without a word to us. We stopped at Richardson's for ice cream instead. I was torn writing this review...food and atmosphere is a solid 4 1/2 and service (hostess and server) a 1 1/2. Quite a difference! The kids wanted to go play mini golf in Middleton, so I was looking for nearby restaurants where my wife & I could get a bite to eat while waiting for them. The waitress (I think her name was Maddie or Mollie) was excellent. She was super nice, very attentive, and remembered that my wife asked for a diet pepsi with no ice in it. Most of the time, waitstaff forget that she made a point of asking for no ice. The food was great. I really liked the burger - it came with jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and some kind of special sauce. We also go the buffalo mac and cheese. It wasn't overly heavy on the buffalo sauce, but instead had chicken, bleu cheese, finely chopped scallions, and bacon. I'm not a fan of IPA's, and when I asked her for recommendations she was spot on. Good food, good service, convenient location, and outdoor seating - this is definitely a place we'll visit again. read more

We visited Maggie's Farm for the first time this evening and had an excellent experience. The kids menu was great and a real value at $9 including meal, drink and dessert. The buffalo wings at 50 cents each were really good too. But what topped it off was the staff. From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were their only priority. Shout out to Katrina who was super with my two little daughters. Overall 5 stars for service, value and quality of food. Will definitely be back. read more

I ordered the tortilla salad and had to send it back because it was soooo Sandy/dirty. Instead I got a cheese pizza to go. I just heated it in the microwave and took a bite, and it's totally burnt on the bottom! Annnnnnd the sauce and cheese have zero flavor (besides char). I'm so disappointed. Our family has been going to Maggies since it opened in the original location. We really enjoyed the vibe and cozy decor. We have been disappointed in the new location because it has lost its soul and now feels like a chain sports bar. The noise level is terrible and the service has gone downhill. The food is still pretty good, but my favorite item, the Babs Roll, has been changed and doesn't taste the same as it used to. We will still get take out, but the dine-in experience is not for us. If you're looking for a sterile, loud sports bar, come on in. read more

Stopped in last night for a quick bite to eat after a very competitive game of mini golf The restaurant itself is cute and cozy. Live guitar player that was at a good volume we could tell if it was the stereo system or live ( until we saw the man with the guitar ) they have the bar, seatings and community seats which I enjoyed we were able to people watch. Kat was our server and she was amazing! I she was always refilling our drinks gave us tips and recommendations on the menu. She made the experience a little more with her upbeat personality! The food was AMAZING. we got tater tots and chicken for starts so good. I got the stir fry and my friends got the bacon wrapped meatloaf with mashed ppotatoes, and broccoli it was good! Come here for lunch with my coworkers all the time. Staff is friendly and attentive, food comes out quick and always delicious. No problems with splitting checks or getting them back quickly. I recommend this place to everyone. Get the serenitee rewards card and it pays off quick too. Get there early for dinner-it fills up quick as its a popular spot with the locals, for good reason! read more

I visited last night with a party of four and I have to say that this place was incredible!!! Very clean, friendly staff, and great outdoor seating. Three of us ordered the classic chicken sandwich and one ordered the chicken quesadilla. Our meals were so tasty and delicious!! Mike was a great waiter and very accommodating! Only thing I would like to mention is the parking in a nightmare!! It's a very crowded complex with other little shops and there isn't enough parking for customers here. My family and I will plan accordingly and give more time for parking for next time. We will definitely be attending again soon! read more

One place I'll never go again. Went for lunch on 11/7/16. It was 4 of us and we were seated quickly. Took over 15 minutes for a waitress to come over and ask for our drink order. We ordered 4 sodas, received 3 and had to ask another person walking by for the 4th. It came when the food came out which also took very long. Here's my problem. We NEVER saw the waitress besides the first drink order and food order and bill. Someone else brought the food out. No "is everything alright?" Nothing. Never saw her again until the paper bill was dropped on the table. Would never recommend this place. Overall, we were there over 1 hour 40 minutes for lunch during the week. There were empty tables as well, I would understand if the place was slammed. read more

We went looking for a new place to try and stubbled onto Maggie's Farm. We had to wait to be seated but that was fine. The service was a bit slow however our server (Katelin) and all the staff that we encountered were wonderful and friendly. Chowda... Not the traditional New England Clam Chowder that we all know and love. This was more like a corn and clam chowder. However this was a nice change up. A bit spicy from the tobacco sauce they use in it. Not the best I've ever had but very good. The diner was wonderful. I had the Baked Haddock and it was very nicely cooked and tasty. The special pork shank that my husband had was awesome! Deserts....Very nice..save room for these. We'll be back.... You might want to make reservations specially on a Friday or Saturday. Food was good per usual but I am disappointed in the wait time. We put our name on the waitlist around 6pm and were told to arrive at 6:56pm. We checked in and were told that it would be another 20 minutes or so. We ended up waiting over an hour in our car to get seated at around 8pm. I always enjoy coming here but I wish the wait time was adjusted on the app to be more accurate so that we could show up closer to the actual time we'd be seated. read more

Went recently for lunch to the new location. We were seated quickly and I've always loved the music they play. My husband loves the pulled pork nachos and I was happy with my salad- the salmon on it was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the Mac and cheese and said it was pretty good! The only issue we had was with the service. Once seated it took 20 mins for someone to come by (and that was after we asked someone). Then our server didn't really come back to check on us once. My wife and I decided to try Maggie's again. Last time there was no air conditioning and it was unbearable. Tonight we were invisible. I say it over and over and over ... get to your guests table immediately and welcome them AND get their drink order. People will sit and relax if they know they are acknowledged and have a drink. If I need to sit for 15+ minutes with no acknowledgment I begin to get mad and doubt the restaurants management. Why did it take 15 minutes for drinks Another 20 minutes for raw oysters 40 minutes for food If you go here demand attention. Order and remind them that you are there. read more
