Built just in the 1980s, she's looking a little worse for the wear, with cracks in her beautiful paint, and the sad, sad, closed roller rink behind her looking like something from after the zombie apocalypse takes us all. If you have to go more than 15 minutes out of your way to see the skate, I'd recommend skipping it. He let me stand on some of the decks to see what size felt the best to me. Nobody rushed me or pressured me into buying anything and they were really good with the boys buying stuff next to me too. They showed the kids how to put the skateboard together and I cannot emphasize enough how kind and patient they are. A custom build is about $200 but they sell premade complete boards for cheaper and occasionally used ones. Many skate shops are very intimidating so I was so happy to find this. I will definitely be coming back for any and all gear I need :)
