I have driven by this little place many times thought I had a brake issue so I had bought some front brake shoes with the intention of putting them on myself but did not have the time. I used to take my cars to this place all the time for services. They have changed the mechanic in the shop and he really does not know what he is doing. He changes my Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator on my BMW and does not calibrated then the car wont go in gears and tells me that they have to program the car but they don't have the right tools for it. had to take it out of there and was still charged for something they did not fix. I used to recommend that place to everyone I knew had problems with their car. Now I tell them not to go there anymore because this mechanics that they have now are not certified and they don't know what they are doing. read more

I came to this auto shop by chance. I had just left John Eagle Honda in my 2002 Honda Civic LX after getting a diagnostic (they said nothing was wrong but a leak that caused water to get into my trunk) and my car's alternator died while stuck in traffic on 183. I glided down the Grauwyler exit and somehow made it into this shop. I did not know the shop existed. I was just lucky. For $300 I got a new alternator, serpentine belt, and my power steering belt replaced. I went back the next month and got my timing belt, seals, radiator flush and water pump changed for $400. I called John Eagle to see how much they charge (not that I would ever go back to them) and they quoted me $600. Good deal. The owner's name is Pat and he's honest and on the level. I have been coming to Magic for many years. I trust everyone in the shop - they know what they are doing and they will tell you if you can wait and do it a little bit later and it will be ok. Would not take my cars to anyone else. I was referred to him by a person that told me the dealership often sent their cars to him for repair. I have a foreign car and the final bill is always lower than the dealership repair service. I've been taking my car their for a number of years and honestly I've never been impressed by their work. I usually have to bring my car back twice before the work is done correctly and considering what they charge you would think they could get it right the first time. I've also noticed that depending upon if they have enough business coming in the door the pad the repair job. They seem to charge different prices for different customers. The owner suffers from little man syndrome, he is really insecure maybe that why they charge me more. I won't go back. I usually can tell them the problem by accessing the internet they spend hours trying to figure out what's going on when I can tell them in minutes. First of all, this place SAVED me $1420 that a dealership would have charged me for a simple hose clamp!!! The gentleman I worked with was the owner Pat. He charged me $87.60!!!! The biggest thing that stood out to me was their honesty. They could have charged me a lot more, but all they did was charge me for an hour of labor, one part and fluids. I cannot thank this place enough. Do not waste your time at dealerships! This is how a car repair shop should be.
