These guys are amazing. I agree with one of the reviewers that I was almost skeptical that there were so many great reviews. In fact, I jokingly mentioned it when I inquired about their services and they said they would provide me names and references if I wished. The communications leading up to the move, beginning with the first inquiry were so fast and always very professional. The team consisted of: Ephrain, Casey, Vincente and Steffan. They were right on time and so very friendly; but not chit chatty - these guys were here to work! I couldn't believe how fast they got everything wrapped up and on the truck. In fact, I was planning on sweeping behind them with random stuff and they took things I was't sure needed to be boxed or not. They wrapped everything with great care. I have a big glass top dining room table that I was a little nervous about moving and they had no problem; no scratches. I would recommend this company to anyone moving. I have moved 10 times in about 13 years and these guys were the fastest and most courteous movers I've had. It took them under 2 hours to unload my 3-bedroom apartment worth of stuff into a 3-floor apartment. To give you a frame of reference, the movers I had who loaded my stuff up in the truck in NY took twice as long. Our movers (Victor, Stephen, Eddy and Vicente) were very accommodating to our requests l, like wearing booties in their shoes and they were very careful with our stuff. This is the first time we hired movers, and we are so glad that we chose U-relax. To begin with, getting a quote was speedy and simple. We lived on a third floor apartment with no elevators, and the staircase was narrow. Victor and Reese (not sure about the spelling, sorry if I'm wrong!) showed up early in the morning. They treated our delicate furniture and tv with great professional care. Not to offend our friends and family, but we will suffer from a lot of damage if we were to get their help instead. We were moving from Seattle to south Everett. The whole moving process - load, drive and unload -took only 4.5 hrs! We can't be more grateful with help from U-relax. I had a fantastic experience with these guys. I had to move unexpectedly, and they were quick to respond over yelp to scheduling questions and quote questions. Their responses were professional, and full of the information I needed. Their quote was more than fair, as well. When the team arrived to move me to my new one bedroom across town, they showed up in an unmarked van, which did worry me at first. However, when asked, the lead mover showed me his worn sweatshirt with the company name & phone on it, and so we got to work. Granted, I had everything packed and fairly well-staged for them, but they had me completely moved in to my new place in 2.5 hours. And, it was like my stuff had never been touched (no bumps, scratches, things hadn't been jostled, etc.). I would highly recommend to anyone who asked! All I can say is this was the most painless and stress-free moving experience I could've asked for (Belltown to Capitol Hill). I got quotes from around 10 different moving companies and none were as accommodating and upfront as U-Relax Moving & Delivery. Big thanks to Victor, Pablo, and Luis! I'll split my review up into three different parts: Booking: -Keiko got back to me very rapidly after I sent my initial inquiry. We established that email was the best way for us to contact and she would always return my question/answers within an hour or so max (provided they were sent during business hours). -In the days leading up to my move, I changed my move date 3 times for work-related reasons and Keiko was nothing but flexible and happy to accommodate. -Keiko was very transparent with booking costs and I really liked that they only charge for the door-to-door portion of your trip (plus $40 one time fuel cost). Move: -The moving team called me the day before and about 2 hours before they were scheduled to come. I actually ended up getting an extra mover for the same cost because they were coming from a bigger move job. -Victor, Pablo, and Luis were all very friendly and worked efficiently. They managed to get everything in and out of my apartment and into my new one in a short period of time with no fuss. They offered to rearrange my furniture in my new place several times as I was figuring out the best arrangement. -All of my stuff exited my old place and entered my new place without any damage to my furniture, floors, or walls. Post-Move: -Victor texted me later in the day to ensure everything had gone smoothly (it did). We used U-Relax Moving a month ago when we moved into our new apartment. We were moving just 2 miles away, but had a LOT of furniture and boxes, so we were so grateful to have found such a highly reviewed moving company on Yelp. And we were even more grateful when Victor and his crew showed up right on time on moving day. They were amazingly efficient, professional, friendly, and accommodating. It was truly the easiest move I've ever had to do because of them. Moving from a 3 bedroom house to 1 bedroom apartment was stressful because we weren't sure everything would fit into the new place, but they made it so easy (and everything fit!). As they brought furniture in, I directed them where to place it. And even when I realized at the last minute that our large rug should be brought in first, they took the time to quick pull it from the back of the truck before bringing in anymore furniture. The cost was shockingly reasonable and they finished the whole move within the estimated timeframe. There were no hidden charges or fees. The only downside was there was a bit unnecessary damage. A few glasses and bowls were broken and chipped, despite being very well packed. And one of the drawers in our entertainment center cracked. It was really disappointing to discover these things a few weeks after the move, but honestly, it wasn't really a huge problem and we were able to repair the entertainment center so it's at least functional again. All of the damage most likely happened because things were turned on their end rather of being kept upright (they definitely didn't throw or drop anything, that was clear). So it's important to not only clearly mark your boxes that absolutely cannot be turned on end, but also make sure you communicate with them directly about requirements for each piece of furniture. Despite the damaged items, we would still use U-Relax Moving again, because a moving company that's as accommodating, friendly, and efficient as they are is a rare find. read more

Fingers crossed I won't have to move again, but if I do I am DEFINITELY using U-Relax Moving again. They were punctual, professional, and careful with all of my things. I asked for a quote and received one immediately over the phone. The crew who served me consisted of Casey, Igor, and Efrain. They were all polite and completely on top of it. I had a tricky moving location, but they parked the truck perfectly! Igor accidentally put his hand through the back of my DVD tower (to be fair, it's cheap Ikea particle board and wouldn't have taken much!) and he was completely professional about it. You know how some movers would hide that or just not tell you? Not U-Relax moving! They were completely upfront about it and apologetic and immediately said they'd make it right on my bill. I want to be clear: the one star ding is NOT because of this. They handled this perfectly and professionally, I understand things happen!! The one star I had to ding them for was there was a hiccup with communication. The front office said I would receive a call an hour before the guys and the truck were to arrive. I needed this call so I could have time to get from work (my move start time was from noon until 2pm, so I was at work in the morning) to my old place to be ready for them. Luckily, I left at 11 am just because I'm always a little nervous about moving, and they were there at 12pm. But I didn't receive a call. Had I not left early of my own accord, the guys would have just been there and would have had to wait for me to get there. So there just needs to be a little more heads-up from the front office. TL; DR: Amazing, efficient, and professional movers. Moved 1 bedroom from Cap Hill to Lake City Way. Would DEFINITELY recommend and would totally use them again. This was my first time hiring movers in Seattle, and the guys at U-Relax were great! They were super fast and efficient. Igor, Luis and Efrain were my movers this time, they arrived 30 minutes early and quickly wrapped up my furniture in blankets and plastic wrap so that nothing was scratched. I only had 6 pieces of furniture and had already moved some boxes so it only took one trip with their truck. They handled my oversized couch and bookshelf with ease. The price was reasonable, I was worried it would take a long time but they were in and out quick in the timeframe they had said - and they even beat me to my new residence, waiting on me for the keys. They were done in four hours, only broken item was a handle on a plastic laundry basket which I over loaded weight wise. I asked for 3 guys to move me from 3 bd house to a 2 bd apartment. Half way threw a fourth joined for no extra charge, guess he was done early w another move and came to help. They wraped everything so well w plastic and blankets...up front price may be more than others but others get you w charging extra for that stuff. Pay in cash for discount too. We had a big move with a family of 6 from Shoreline to Bothell. I did my research and called multiple moving companies and U Relax had the most competitive rates, claimed they were the fastest and by far the best reviews. We scheduled a move date and waited. Unfortunately our closing date got moved not once but twice. They were so nice to accommodate the changes!! The new move in date was the Friday before Christmas. We've lived in our house ten years and with Santa right around the corner we had to make this as seamless a move as possible. With three kids under 7, a grandma, two dogs a bunny a fish and all our shit this was by far the most stressful day of our life. I Relax showed up not a minute late and got straight to work. Then it started snowing. They didn't slow down at all. They loaded everything up. Took a 5 minute pizza break we practically forced on them and headed to the new place. The U-Relax crew did a great job for us last week. They were friendly, professional, and truly went the extra mile with our heavy furniture, some of which had to go up and down some stairs. The only quibble I'd make is that there was a bit of miscommunication regarding who was the crew leader. It wasn't made clear initially, and then later another crew member suggested he was the lead. I called in to Victor at the office to confirm, and it turned out the crew leader was actually Efrain. It's an important detail, because of course that's who you pay at the end, and that's who you give the tip to for division among the crew (unless you divide it up and distribute it yourself, which is also OK). These movers are the Les Schwab of moving companies. Don't look any further. Seriously. Here's why: I had made a spreadsheet of seven highly reviewed moving companies I found on yelp to determine which one's out-the-door price would be the most reasonable. Not sure why U-relax didn't come up in my initial search, but I'm so glad my friend told me to look into using U-relax when he found out I was looking for movers. U-relax blew the other companies out of the water based on pricing for a couple reasons. 1. Because they only start the hourly rate when they arrive at your place and the clock stops once they've moved the last piece, it is already ~$100 less expensive than all the other movers I looked into who start and end when they depart from and arrive back at their own facility. 2. Three movers for about the price of two from other companies. 3. On top of that, it seems like a trend where if any movers finish up at a job early and have time to spare they will go help at other job sites (for free). 4. All the other companies' I had researched average yelp ratings were 4.5. Which is super good...until you see all of u-relax's 5 star ratings! They are fast, efficient, friendly, and affordable. Victor was great to work with from the start - we had gotten out home sooner than anticipated and were eager to move in, Victor scheduled us immediately. Our move wasn't complicated, but had a few obstacles (as moves tend to do) with moving a couple oversized pieces of furniture and moving additional furniture from a storage unit. I expected to do most of the mid-sized boxes myself (planned form the beginning), as they had worked us in after another appointment so we didn't start until around 3pm on a Saturday. The crew, led by Eddie, worked quicker than I expected and we were about to clear out the entire apartment and storage unit. Victor showed up for the last part of the move himself to help the crew finish before it got too late, both helping out his crew and saving us money on our end. The company is relatively new, but I'm glad I went with them, and now I know who I'll call next time around. TL;DR Crew is friendly, efficient, and cost-effective.
