Magic Moving was such a pleasure to work with- they arrived 10min early to ensure parking the truck in a safe location. My experience with Magic Moving and Delivery Services was phenomenal. From receiving the initial quote through the move, they were nothing but attentive, accommodating, friendly, and personal (heavy emphasis on the personal quality - something that you don't see that often anymore). Our team of three movers (I'm going to try and find their names so I can give them the credit they so willfully deserve) met at our storage location 15 minutes before required so they could start promptly on-time. From the very first moment, they were very personal, used first names, and went out of the way to make sure previously poorly packaged/wrapped items were reinforced prior to being loaded on their truck. This is a company that you pay for the time actually used, not a fixed cost. Even with this pricing model, our three movers HUSTLED (while being safe), and were all smiles while doing so. When they arrived at our new house, they were respectful with taking their shoes off every single time they came inside (even though this was likely a major inconvenience for them). They also even offered to help move things around after they were finished. Overall, there's not a single thing I would change about my experience. This is the second time moving with the Magic moving. Victor was our mover and two other guys, very professional and extremely fast. Its little thing makes you feel they care. I can't recommend this company enough. After a stressful move that wasn't going very smoothly, we called late Sunday night and were able to book them the next day. They moved the rest of our furniture and, most importantly, they figured out how to get our couch into our new place! Pros: The price - SO affordable Easy booking Very helpful staff (didn't catch the lady's first name, but she was wonderful) Professional and helpful - went above and beyond, especially in helping take off and put back on the arm of our couch to get it in the apartment. Communication - We got a text confirmation right after booking, an ETA from the movers, and they were very responsive to texts Moving - Wrapped everything with care, without us even having to ask. They were quick, efficient and worked with the tiny apartment elevator. And of course, the huge benefit of having a dramatically less stressful move. Worth every penny. I booked U-Relax after using Yelp to find movers for a local move. After two other places wouldn't call me back or answer the phone, I was relieved when Victor called me right after I submitted a RFQ via Yelp. Ahhh, Victor. For such a small-statured man, there's a big personality there. He's professional; he's a good leader of his crew; he's funny; he's physically stronger than you could imagine; he's fast. I hired a crew of three to move from Ballard to West Seattle. We moved out of a 3rd floor place with no elevator and crappy angles for hallways and doors. We moved into a mega-plex apartment that had an elevator, but the unit was about 70 feet from the elevator so that adds time. About two days before the move, I called Victor to ask if we could make an additional stop at Goodwill and he was cool with that. They were scheduled to arrive at 8:00 and actually showed at 7:45. (wooo hoo!) They took seven hours for the move, which may seem like a lot, but it wasn't. I had some unusually large pieces to move and, as explained above, the move-out conditions were physically taxing. They wrapped everything in blankets and shrink wrap. They took all their trash with them when they left. They didn't charge me for shrink wrap. His crew may rotate, but Victor is the constant. Let me preface this by saying that I hate moving! I've moved so many times that I just dont have the patience for it anymore. Victor and his team were the best movers out there! Their moving fee was very reasonable and it includes the truck! They even worked the day after Thanksgiving which you probably wont see anywhere else. While I was gathering all of my information, a friend on FB had mentioned that she just used them and highly recommended them. Then I got their quote- it was hands down, the best price out there. U-Relax did a great job to accommodate my schedule and finished moving all my furniture from a 2 bedroom apartment into a 2 story townhouse in under 3 hours. Keiko, who I interfaced with regarding scheduling, even sent over an extra person to help with the move and was sure to follow up after the move. Luis, Efrain, and Igor did not take any breaks during the entire move and were fast, courteous and careful. They even showed up 20 minutes early to make sure everything stayed on schedule. We recently used Magic Moving to go from Seattle to Bellevue. I hired them because they were able to move my many outdoor and indoor plants as well as other belongings. Working with Keiko was great - she's efficient and took note of many details of our job. On the day of, Victor and Stephan absolutely knocked it out of the park. They were quick but careful not to leave marks on interior walls and fingerprints on white door frames. They did an excellent job making sure everything was wrapped securely and safely. I had a great experience with U-Relax Moving. I needed to reschedule my move date, they were able to accommodate my last minutes request with no charge. Victor was able to show up before the original scheduled time (of course he called me to make sure I am ok with it), so we were done before my original time. The crew were very efficient. I have used different movers in the past but I was very happy how fast they were. They wrapped all the furniture, tv and nothing was broken. I have a small place and it took them total 2 hours only. This was one of the worst experiences I've had with a moving company. I started reserving a move a couple of weeks in advance and was quoted a price with 3 movers. I decided to move forward with the move and stopped looking while they asked additional questions. Then, a few days later, after I assumed everything was ready to go - I was told the move would need 4 movers and cost additional money. At this point, it had gotten late to find another mover, but they wouldn't budge or move with three movers despite offering that initially. They essentially lied to me by telling me they would move with three movers and then tried to upcharge me when it was too late to change. I ended up finding another mover last minute. The company was non-responsive. I asked for phone calls three or four times over the conversation and would only get pre-written text replies. The customer service experience was absolutely awful. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your move. read more

Victor and Alberto were amazing to work with! I did my best to pack up and prepare my belongings, but there is always a few awkward items (brooms, mops, curtain rods etc)- they worked quickly and efficiently to move everything out of my apartment and into my lovely new place! For the really large awkward furniture pieces, they carefully blanketed each item, secured it with plastic wrap, and used heavy-lifting belts and straps to work together to ensure the items were not damaged, dragged or bumped along the stairs, or scraped in the truck. Everything went in looking like new and came out looking like new! Also- this is a true story of this experience- I had left a bag of groceries close to the pile of boxes, which I had intended to put in my own car and drive over when the truck was loaded, but I forgot about that bag (which included a half dozen eggs)- I didn't find it until Victor and Alberto unloaded it from the truck at our destination--- NOT ONE EGG WAS BROKEN! I don't think they even knew that eggs were in the bag- but they handled everything so carefully that even the eggs were in better care with U-Relax than with me in the back of my own car! read more

Thanks to U-Relax Moving my most recent moving experience was easy, quick and painless! They showed up a few minutes early, immediately got to work and finished much faster than expected. They will disassemble and reassemble anything you ask them to, properly wrap and pack things meticulously ensuring that nothing is damaged. Sure enough, nothing was even dinged in the move thanks to the care they took. They also charge flat rates, down to the travel time which is nice considering how bad the traffic can be in Seattle. Couldn't be happier with U-Relax Moving. They arrived promptly and 4 movers got to work straight away. They were polite, friendly and very careful with our things. Not a single item was broken and they made sure to ask us which room every item belonged to, which made unpacking easy. First of all, they answered my quote questions here on yelp instead of sending me links to fill forms and phone like most of other companies do. Second, Price was pretty honest. They started exactly on time and did the move in the duration I was expecting. To give an idea, it was a 2 bed apartment with more than 40 boxes (btw they don't pack boxes, what I consider fair), that was loaded in slightly more than 1 1/2 hour with 3 movers. Naturally each case is different, but I think they did a great timing. Third, I've had no damage in any of my items. Boxes were all carried with care and furniture well packaged and unpacked.
