After using another local moving service in the past that was only ok, I decided it was time to give another company a try. After reading reviews of the top companies in Seattle, I decided to take a chance with U-Relax. I was a little skeptical, especially since all of the reviews were so high (wondering if they were legit), and they only go back to 2015. I almost backed out a day before, but I'm so glad I didn't. The guys let me know that they get a pay bump after five good reviews mentioning their name. If I had known that ahead of time, that would have eased my concern about the quantity of five-star reviews. Effrin & Igor (hopefully I spelled those right) arrived 10 minutes early, even before I made it to my storage unit. Once I opened it up, they immediately went to work. The other company I've used multiple times in the past would only pad furniture while in the truck. While that's ok, that can lead to damage while maneuvering it into your new home. With U-Relax, they carefully padded and cling-wrapped each piece, loaded them into the truck, and kept them padded until they were inches away from their new resting place. Overall a great experience and they're my new go-to in the future. read more

Excellent movers! We hired U-Relax for our small move in Seattle (1.5 bed apartment to a house) and were very happy. The team were on time and got our job done in 2.5 hrs. They wrapped all our furniture and disassembled and reassembled our bed quickly. They were friendly and worked diligently and efficiently at all times. This was my third experience with movers in Seattle, and by far the best experience. Not only was it the cheapest of the three, they were the greatest crew and most careful with all of our belongings. They started on time (a little early, in fact) and finished within the time estimated (the three-hour minimum). In the past, my girlfriend and I have had to listen to other "professionals" complain about how difficult moving everything was or snide remarks about how much stuff we had to move. Not so with U-Relax. Everything we had was no problem for them. Any time I asked if we could throw in a few random things that were not in boxes, they were very accommodating. Everything was excellent: communication with Keiko answering questions via email leading up to the move and the crew on the day of the move. And, again, all of this was for about half of the price quoted to us by other companies--we actually elected for a three-man crew, which was still around the same hourly rate as other companies charge for a two-man crew. Overall, I was very pleased with their work and, without a doubt, I will be using them the next time I move. read more

I am not someone who typically uses movers nor am I someone who typically writes reviews (I know, bad karma) unless a business blows me away. So here we go. I moved yesterday with U-Relax. From the beginning communication with Keiko was great. She was on top of her game. The team that arrived was Casey, Igor, Sergio and Victor. They arrived early and in my apartment wrapping my furniture before 8am! I was totally in the way trying to help, they had this down to a science. Everything was padded and protected from the rain. The elevator in my new building is out of service which meant carrying things up outside steps AND 28 inside steps (I counted) to my apartment. They didn't even bat an eye (!!!) and the whole move was done in 2.5 hours for a 1bdrm apt. In my apartment they were great about moving things where I wanted them -- I never felt rushed but was so pleasantly surprised with their speed. Very professional and polite as well. read more

Victor, Casey, and Efrain were the movers who assisted us on moving day. They arrived early and were very efficient in their plan to move us out of a 5th floor apartment building. Victor and his crew are THE BEST! I called on Monday for a fast move to happen on Wednesday... They were quick with their response to be able to schedule me on short notice and were great at communicating all details. It was a company move that involved some rather challenging aspects. One of many was that it was a long haul from Seattle to Tacoma, and back again. They charged a very reasonable flat rate for gas, plus an awesome hourly rate. Initially, this was supposed to be an easy move with very few items, however that quickly and unexpectedly turned into a huge job (due to aspects out of either party's control). That being said, Victor was happy to accommodate our needs and push through the changes that were happening without any complaints! On top of that, it was raining all day yet the guys had a fantastic attitude that made them very easy to work with! Having heard many horror stories about moving, I was not relaxed, but they arrived on time and worked from the moment they got there, until late afternoon, we were moving household items but more importantly, my husbands shop (I've always called the mini Home Depot), there were many heavy items including a 1000lb safe. BEST MOVERS EVER!! From start to finish my experience with this company was a solid ten. I received a response within an hour of my request and had an in-home free estimate scheduled shortly thereafter. On the day of my move, the crew was prompt, respectful, and incredibly accommodating. I was moving out of a four story town-home with extremely narrow stairwells and not only did all of my furniture come out unscathed but they even removed and replaced the handrails so none of the walls or railings were scratched either. Overall they were fast, friendly, efficient, and amazingly helpful. They disassembled and reassembled all of my furniture and completed my move within the quoted time frame. I also hired them the following day to move my storage unit and they were equally wonderful. My storage items are now carefully wrapped and protected, which was more than I was able to do myself. These guys are awesome! I am a realtor and have dealt with a lot of moving companies through client experiences and my own. In mid July we moved from a 1500 sq ft condo to a bigger house. We had lived in this condo for 10 years and didn't realize that you accumulate so much junk. We had done multiple dump and donation runs before the moving day. Moving day: Had scheduled with Victor for 3 guys at 8am Saturday. They showed at 7:45 and then Victor came and helped wrap furniture for an hour or so. All said and done, it took them 4.5 hours to wrap furniture with moving blankets, shrink wrap, pack in the 24 ft truck ( i swear these guys are engineers, we filled that truck plus our cars ) then drive 25 mins North. Once at the new house, they then unpacked truck, moved it to the rooms my wife directed to and also unwrapped the shrink wrap and put 2 beds back together. These guys were fast, professional and very reasonably priced. I will be referring them to all my clients. P.S. Have bottled water for them :) read more

This was our first time hiring movers and it was a great experience. I booked pretty last minute and they were able to accommodate our schedule. We hired a three-man crew and they showed up 10 minutes before the scheduled start time and were done in 3 1/2 hours. They were efficient and friendly. Keiko booked an assessment and Victor came by to assess how much time it'd likely take. All this was within 2 days. The move happened last Saturday (just 7 days before I contacted them) and a team of 4 came with 2 large trucks. They were super professional, wrapped all our items very carefully and moved all out things out of the house within only 2 hours. This was the best moving experience I've ever had! They were on time, quick and extremely nice. They booked me in as soon as possible for two movers with a three hour minimum but the guys finished up in under three hours. I had a fantastic experience with this company. I am disabled, and as such am both strapped for cash and unable to move my own belongings. So when I messaged over 10 different companies, I was so happy to find that the company with the best price had great reviews. They showed up just before our 9AM start time. The moving team carefully, quickly, and efficiently moved all my furniture from Monroe to Shoreline. The quote was for three hours, and they actually completed it in just under two! The speed and skill they demonstrated while they wrapped, and un-wrapped all the furniture was impressive. After several attempts of calling few other moving companies in the area, I went on a limb to see if Victor and his team would be able to come this far for a somewhat small job of an in home move. I got exactly what I wanted with U-Relax. They are very careful with furniture like dressers, tables, and mattresses, and large electronics like TVs by wrapping them in blankets and plastic. There was no damage to any of the furniture or the home. They were on-time, and worked very efficiently. I was still finishing up with packing when they arrived, and they even helped me finish packing the last boxes. We could not have been happier with the service we've received from U-Relax, and with Victor's and Luis' work. We had a big move - from Seattle to Bellingham. I've contacted a handful of companies for quotes - I was worried because cost always factors in travel time back to the moving office, and traffic between Seattle and Bellingham could have made this really expensive. But U-Relax offered me a fixed rate, which also happened to be the lowest cost estimate I got from all the other companies, so between that and all the 5-star reviews - I went with them, and I'm so happy I did. On the day of the move, Victor and Luis arrived early - they were professionals - they worked so hard (without breaks!) and took great care of our things! They moved our one bedroom in Seattle (second floor - no elevator) to an apartment in Bellingham (4th floor - no elevator). They worked tirelessly, and despite having to climb all those stairs with heavy loads many times - they remained focused and friendly and polite. All in all it was a 9-hour endeavor. This moving company is awesome!!! I moved from North Bend to Seattle. The moving company was extremely quick and responsive through email to all the questions and concerns I had before moving. On the day of the move, the four-man team was delayed by traffic from an accident en route. Victor called me promptly to let me know and gave me an estimated arrival time (45 minutes later). As soon as the team arrived they immediately took charge and carefully wrapped all my furniture and stowed everything in the truck. The move was a little complicated because I wanted some of my stuff to go to a house in Seattle, then drop off some of my unwanted furniture at Goodwill, then unload the rest at a storage facility in Shoreline. The team was extremely polite, respectful, and listened carefully. The night before the move, a basket with used cans of paint fell and spilled all over my garage floor, leaving some boxes and furniture sitting in a pool of wet paint. The team didn't complain or hesitate. They were still able to load up everything quickly and efficiently. At the end, they even helped me mop up as much of the paint as possible. The interim stops I wanted were handled smoothly. There was a tight deadline to arrive at the storage facility (the last stop) and they worked extra quickly (I had thought they were quick before; they never stopped for a break) and got me to the storage facility on time. Victor called a couple of times during the move to make sure I was satisfied and if I had any concerns. I received a call from Victor the next day to say they had overcharged me $180 and came by that day to return the money. I can't say enough good about them and have recommended them without reservation to my friends. read more

I found U-Relax Moving here in Yelp. I had horrible experience with a local mover last year so I was anxious about picking a mover this time. After reading the Yelp reviews, I decided to give a try. Keiko replied back right away. Although setting up and reconfirming my appointment was very easy, I was nervous until the day of moving thinking if they sould actually show up (since I had no-show mover last year). Victor and his crew showed up 10 minutes before my appointment time. There four men including Victor, although I ordered two men. Victor was there to see how much stuff I had and left two men behind for my move. These two workers got right down to work with wasting no time. They worked hard silently but were very dedicated to carry my furniture with care. I lived on the 4th floor with elevators, but unfortunately one of the two in the building broke down at the time. There was only one elevator available and I couldn't get the key to hold an elevator from the leasing office, but heard no complaints from them. They finished loading everything and were ready to leave for my new place in less than 1 hour and they were all done in less than 2 hours. There was no paperwork for me to sign prior to work and I wasn't sure if it's normal, but I was very impressed with their performance and happy to have found them.
