Very mediocre work at high prices. My toe was cut and it's been so uncomfortable. Sucks bc I haven't gotten a pedi at a salon in years and this is why. My feet were still dry after and I had to go home and scrub extra. The customer service was good and friendly but I should've known better when the guy told me the service I chose is really hard. My daughter sent photos of the designs she wanted to the salon days before her appointment and they were not an issue. When she arrived she was told the designs, which weren't an issue when sent, were now "too complicated" or "AI generated". Not sure why AI makes a difference but either way she was forced to settle for something she really didn't want. I wish I had heard the conversation because a 13 year old girl isn't going to stand up for herself in that situation but I would have. I didn't learn about it until we were back home. read more

I was really disappointed with my experience at Magic Nails. Instead of taking the time to do my nails correctly, everything felt rushed. When I pointed out an issue with one of my nails, I expected them to fix it, but instead I was given the runaround and felt like my concerns weren't taken seriously. Customer service should include standing behind your work and making sure clients leave happy. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I don't mind if something needs to be corrected, but I do expect a business to take the time to make it right rather than brushing it off. I hope they start focusing more on quality and customer satisfaction instead of rushing through appointments. read more

I love it here! They are so wonderful, do a great job, super accommodating. My favorite! Bo took the exact picture I had in my head and put it on my nails. They're also super amazing with my kids. 6 and 8, 8yo started when she was five. They are all so s wet and helpful. It's also a very clean and well run business. It's best if you can make an appointment and just be honest and clear with what you're wanting so you can be properly scheduled. They take walk ins whenever they can and try to accommodate everyone. I've definitely been delayed a couple minutes and delayed many more because I asked for something extra or got in because someone with an appointment was 10-15 minutes late. Don't yell at not being able to be accommodated if you miss your appointment by 10/15 minutes, 5 or even 1. You DID have an appointment ma'am, you failed it and now you can wait or reschedule. That's common sense, I saw an aged woman throw a tantrum bigger than any my kids ever did towards their awesome staff and that is likely the types saying anything negative. If you don't like something, tell them then, easy peasy. They always work to accommodate people and are the best, just communicate. The only time I didn't like my nails is when I didn't listen to a provider telling me I would not like that. Have been a client, although spotty, since 2020 when we moved here. It's been a very long time since I've seen a decent nail salon with precise techs in it.... I called up 2 hrs prior asking if they had an appointment and they fit me in. I did not wait at all and as I can see why people wait is because they do not turn you down but also understand they are working their butts off here - In the hour I was sitting on a Wednesday afternoon I watched 6 people walk in with no appointments and they took them. Not only that they did not rush through anyone- quality over quantity!!! A++++ There was only one woman who had to wait 5 mins whom was addressed properly, kindly and promptly. If you are looking for a quality nail salon within the Homer Glen, Lemont, Lockport area this is probably the best you will find... I want to personally thank these guys for taking their time and making sure my nails were perfect and not rushed. Keep up the good work here and don't worry about the impatient people! My advice is book an appointment early and be prepared to wait, other customers change their mind .... Don't blame the company and workers for pleasing their customers ;) read more

The first time I have been to Magic Nails and I'm happy I did! I called prior to arriving and sure enough they had a spot for me available close to closing. I was ecstatic they were able to fit me in same day(this being a Sunday). The nail technician was very polite and offered me something to drink, which I happily requested a Diet Coke. My technician took her time when doing my feet, which was so appreciated! Other nail places try to rush you out of the door as soon as you get there. I would have preferred a bit of a longer foot massage, but enh, what can you do? Since the establishment was close to closing time I was placed under the foot dryers near the front. I inquired how long shall I stay under so that my nails would be completely dry and was told 10 minutes. Considering I am a walking accident waiting to happen I stayed at least 15 minutes to keep my perfect nails. I then proceeded to stay in the flip flops provided even as I walked around neighboring Dollar Tree. Yet, two of my toes still got ruined. Enter sad face with a non surprised face. I followed their directions to a T and still ended up with imperfect nails. For the price and service I will definitely return! I just will be sure not to trust their time-frames, ha ha! read more

Visited for the first time on February 2, 2023 for a pedicure for a girls trip and the first thing I noticed besides the beautiful decor was that they are VERY clean. They asked me to wash my hands prior to picking out my color and all the utensils used came from a sealed and disinfected bag. Katrina did my toes and I went with the basic package and it felt like a VIP package. I was surprised at how well she massaged my legs, feet and toes all for $35!!! Hands down best nail salon I've been to! Clean, precise, offered suggestions that would benefit my nail longevity and skin health, very friendly, AND beautifully crafted nail designs! Rose was super helpful with making sure I loved my nails and would last a decent amount of time- my real nails are flat, brittle, grow wavy. She made suggestions on product, shape, and length that works for me and would help maintain my nails. Wii is SO TALENTED with nail designs!
