It's been a very long time since I've seen a decent nail salon with precise techs in it.... I called up 2 hrs prior asking if they had an appointment and they fit me in. I did not wait at all and as I can see why people wait is because they do not turn you down but also understand they are working their butts off here - In the hour I was sitting on a Wednesday afternoon I watched 6 people walk in with no appointments and they took them. Not only that they did not rush through anyone- quality over quantity!!! A++++ There was only one woman who had to wait 5 mins whom was addressed properly, kindly and promptly. If you are looking for a quality nail salon within the Homer Glen, Lemont, Lockport area this is probably the best you will find... I want to personally thank these guys for taking their time and making sure my nails were perfect and not rushed. Keep up the good work here and don't worry about the impatient people! My advice is book an appointment early and be prepared to wait, other customers change their mind .... Don't blame the company and workers for pleasing their customers ;)

I don't normally write reviews, but this experience was just so amazing i couldn't help myself!! Today i came into the salon and i called earlier that day to make my appointment. I did mention on the phone that i wanted a design so when i came in everyone was very friendly and helped me pick the design i wanted. My Nail tech was Q and as i watched him do my nails i was just so amazed by his talent and ability to take my photo and make it into a masterpiece. From the friendly staff to my hilarious and extremely talented technician, the salon experience was one that i will never forget. I cannot wait to be back and to refer all of my friends any family to your beautiful establishment. Thank you a billion times Magic Nails!! You guys helped me feel like me again! read more

Exceptional service! I will drive all the way to Lemont from Joliet for this place. We've been offered drinks when we get there and treated very well. I don't feel like I'm at a used car dealership with them trying to upsell me like other places. I actually have a conversation with my technician! Very friendly and clean. read more

I hate writing this review because I really enjoyed my time at this salon. I was hoping this was my new home for nail services. However, after only one week, my no chip manicure started chipping and the remaining polish ended up with a weird dark film over it which made my nails look scuffed/dirty. I'm not going back but I'm sad about it because it's super clean and close to home. read more

I have been coming to magic nails for over a year and getting my dip powder done with Lily. My nails last over 3 weeks every time I get them done and always look great. Lily even encouraged me to take a break with getting my nails done so they could be healthier. I recommend Lily and this nail salon to everyone. read more

This place is great! clean and has a nice atmosphere. I make my appointments and am always greeted very courteously and seated on time. Clients are asked to wash our hands, which I think is very smart and also offered a beverage. Mary, my technician is very professional and friendly. I never feel rushed or get talked into another service other than what I came for. I would suggest them to anyone looking for a great, relaxing place to get your nails or pedicures done. f read more

Why make an appointment when they can't keep it. 2 weeks i call to get an appointment w Alix and than they let me wait for 15 mins or more. the whole point to making an appointment is not to wait. very stupid move. especially when there are at least 3 more nail shops within the area. just lost a good customer. plus this spa is way more expensive than others. read more

DO NOT RECCOMMEND. I wish I could give a place 0 stars. I came in to get my nails removed, proceeded to wait 30 minutes when the salon had maybe 4 customers. There were workers on their phone and talking in groups. My first technician cut my skin and then I got a second technician who insulted me saying I look too young to be getting my nails done. I'm 22. This whole removal process took an hour 15 minutes which should've been a 10 minute stop. read more

Do not get your eyebrows done at this salon. They are overly priced for such a terrible job. I've been getting my brows done for 15 years now and have never received such rude service, bad outcome, and overpriced. Very disappointed! read more

There are only three manicure stations as well as three pedicure stations along with a fully closed-off back station where you can relax during a massage or facial. The space is decorated in cool, neutral colors and the tiny waiting area is stocked full of current magazines. Beata and the other ladies use Essie and OPI nail products, sterilize everything, and are one of the few nail spas that use OPI drying drops instead of a drying spray or dryer. The results are so much better with the drying drops. No smudges or kinks in your nails because only the top layer of your nails was dried by the adhesive. The facials here cannot be beat if you have problem skin. The spa only stocks Dermalogica products and does all of the facialists do a detailed consultation to determine your problems and needs. Manicures are $20, pedicures are $40 and facials are $80; however, the prices are well worth it. I have never been more satisfied with a facial, a pedicure, or a manicure than when I leave Ambiance.

My son got a simple kids' pedicure (no polish), and Kate was patient and thorough, turning his fidgety energy into a calm, relaxing soak and massage. My daughter (the birthday girl) opted for a mani-pedi with custom polish and glitter--Tom was thrilled to oblige, mixing colors and adding sparkle exactly as requested. The results were vibrant and precise; she hasn't stopped admiring her nails since. I treated myself to a gel pedicure with Tiffany, and it was flawless--smooth application, perfect shape, and a relaxing foot massage that melted the day away. Every station was impeccably clean, the tools sanitized, and the overall vibe serene. The only minor hiccups: the kids' pedicure felt a bit pricey for a no-polish service, and checkout was slightly awkward--you can't add tips at the register and must Zelle each technician separately. It's a small inconvenience, but worth noting. Despite that, the skill, cleanliness, and genuine care from Tiffany, Tom, and Kate make this salon a standout. I recently visited Magic Nails and was initially thrilled with my dip powder nails. They looked fantastic right after the appointment. However, my excitement was short-lived. Just two days later, I noticed that two of my nails had chipped and were flaking off, which was very disappointing, especially since I hadn't done anything that would cause them to do so. I contacted the salon to see if I could get them fixed, but the available appointment times didn't work with my schedule, and since I'll be out of town for the next week and a half, rescheduling wasn't an option. I understand that accommodating my schedule isn't their responsibility, but I was still frustrated. Additionally, I paid in cash and was not offered any form of refund or even salon credit, which added to my disappointment. While I appreciate the initial appearance of the nails, the fact that they chipped so quickly and the lack of options for a fix or refund means I won't be returning. I feel like the $80 I spent was a waste. read more
