They open their doors at 10am and the floors are filthy. The carpets are filthy. The bathrooms are filthy. The area near the lockers....filthy! Arcade area.... Filthy. Tons of garbage, tons of wads of old gum....... No one cares in this place. Why??? Probably because the staff consists of a bunch of young kids on their cell phones. Never have I seen the staff members leave the front desk. Never see them walking around keeping an eye on patrons.... Or caring about about the garbage and dirtiness patrons encounter. I might expect some of this filthiness on a weekend when you're jampacked with parties and kids off from school.... But Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday..... best get to cleaning please. I think Nova in Greece gonna give you a run for your money.

Membership is free for Seniors, veterans and children 0-4. Non residents are $30 a year for adults and $15 a year for youth, seniors and veterans. Free for kids 0-4. Once you are a member you get a key tag for easy scanning. With so many different programs to do here such as gymnastics, pickle ball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and music classes... your best bet is to check out their website for a listing of activities. Some programs require additional fees. My niece has a blast with the preschool open gym. Only $40 for so much fun and activities. There are a lot of free activities here too, playing basketball on one of the courts is always popular. My favorite activity here is using the upstairs running/walking track. The track overlooks the basketball courts and gymnastics area. Nine times around the track equals a mile. You can also book one of the rec center rooms for your own events, see website for pricing. The park itself is a nice place to get outside in the summer, too. It can be a bit grimy, but it's hard to hate on sand and water and sunshine. The sunsets can be spectacular by the pier, the boardwalk is nice for a walk, and there's some places to play and even some public grills if I remember right. As far as the vendors go, I'm not that big on Bill Gray's, but Abbot's ice cream is a winner. Ice cream + sunshine + sand + sea (I mean lake) = good.
